This paper examines the opportunities of landscape architect students to integrate with other students which are related to the landscape architects vocational field during their education. It also involves a discussion about the profession of landscape architects and the view of landscape architect students concerning who they will work with in their professional career. Six qualitative interviews were carried out to identify how one work with student exchanges, both within the landscape architecture education program and in voluntary forums during the students' leisure time. The interviewees have experiences of different student exchanges and different approach to landscape architecture education at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Alnarp. During the interviews, it emerged that the number of exchanges for different reasons steadily has declined in recent years. At the same time, the interviewed conceded that exchanges are important to prepare students for their professional career. An electronic survey was sent to all landscape architecture students at SLU Alnarp.

The ambition to involve younger people in future planning processes in order to get full participation of all groups in the society requires a deep and well-planned dialogue. Although, participation not always means inclusion. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the younger generation in the society is included in the future work. This is based on a case study of the developmental work in the municipality of Skellefteå.Questions that were answered were how the municipality has made the participation possible? To what extent has the younger generation been involved? How did this group experience their participation? The methodology consisted of mixed methods that include observations, surveys to the session leaders and to the participants in the dialogue and three interviews with two participants and one municipal civil servant.The result showed that the open information didn´t reach the younger generation to the open dialogues although the dialogue design gave good conditions for participation.

In todays society sports has become a major part in people?s life, with the emerging of professionalization it?s become a thriving business that generates big money. An outcome of this evolution of sports as meant that most athletes must put more time and energy in to their athletics to have a chance to reach their dreams of being a professional athlete. And if an athletes dream get cut short somehow, the process of moving out of sport has been shown to somtimes be a difficult process for athletes that don?t have anything to fall back on.

Studies of networks, fields and of communicative circulations complement each other. This master thesis is a biographical study of an author and journalist, Gustaf Montgomery GM, his network in Sweden of the early 19th century, and a study of his authorship and literary career. The starting-point of the study is GM:s change of field from the conservative to the liberal in 1832. The aim is to give explanations to this change and to describe how the change in turn effected the network. The method used is critical of sources.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad blivande sångpedagoger har för uppfattningar rörande sambanden mellan sång och hälsa. Genom att göra semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjustudier sökte jag efter mer kunskap om sång och hälsa via deras uppfattningar.I min studie tar jag upp tidigare forskning som bland annat visar att sångaktivitet har en positiv effekt på den som sjunger. I denna uppsats får läsaren ta del av tre blivande sångpedagogers syn på ambition, identitet och självkänsla i förhållande till sång men också en övergripande uppfattning om hur sången påverkar hälsa både negativt och positivt.Resultatet av min studie visar att det finns samband mellan sångaktivitet och hälsa. Dessa samband är tätt kopplade till varandra och resultatet visar både negativa och positiva effekter på hälsan för den som sjunger. Kärnan visar att sångaktivitet är djupt knutet till identitet.Studien kan bidra med kunskap som gör det lättare för sångpedagoger och andra sångintresserade att arbeta hälsofrämjande..

Syftet med denna studie var att få en uppfattning om hur specialpedagogisk verksamhet hanteras i grundskolan. Vi valde att se på hur verksamheten fördelas mellan flickor/pojkar och på olika uppgivna orsaker (t.ex. ämnessvårigheter, dyslexi, koncentrationssvårigheter), samt hur verksamheten utformas och hur urvalet av elever till verksamheten går till. Vår ambition var också att få en inblick i lärares resonemang om specialpedagogisk verksamhet. Undersökningsgruppen svarade på frågor via enkäter och därefter blev några av lärarna intervjuade.

The purpose of this study is to compare the contents, editorials and front covers of Sweden?s oldest girl?s magazine Veckorevyn during two different years, in which the magazine had two very different chief editors.In the year 2000, Emma Hamberg got the job as editor-in-chief for Veckorevyn, with a vision of changing the way the magazine represented young females. She wanted to add a more feminist viewpoint to the magazine, since she felt that Veckorevyn didn?t live up to its claim of being ?a girl?s best friend?. Six years later, the famous Swedish fashion editor Ebba von Sydow became editor-in-chief for Veckorevyn, with the intention of making the magazine better, smarter and more fun for young girls.

Det du håller i dina händer är en kvalitativ studie över gymnasieelevers definition av begreppet ?en bra lärare?. Undersökningen, vars syfte är att ge en inblick i elevernas perspektiv på fenomenet och därmed öka kunskapen för verksamma lärare, bygger på 6 respondenters redogörelser av sin syn på ämnet. Respondenternas delgivelser har efter insamlandet analyserats med hjälp av IPA-metoden (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis), analyserats, tematiserats och slutligen syntetiserats i den text som utgör resultatet.Anledningen till ämnesvalet och dess inriktning bottnar i såväl ett eget intresse av att utreda saken närmare som att jag i mina efterforskningar inte har funnit någon forskning på området som tar upp just elevernas perspektiv.Resultatet slår för det första fast att lärares framtoning har en stor påverkan på elevernas studiemotivation (drivkraft) och ambition (målmedvetenhet). Vidare visar det på ett antal, enligt respondenterna, särskilt betydande drag hos en lärare, varav de flesta i varierande grad inverkar på elevernas attityd till och strävan i skolan och sina studier.

This essay discusses the width of the late medieval desertion of farms in Sweden from an archaeological perspective. The object of the essay is to investigate if archaeological investigations and research during the last 10-15 years have changed the view of the late medieval desertion in relation to the Scandinavian research project on deserted farms and villages.The essay also deals with questions on causes to the desertion and when desertion occurred. An ambition of the essay is also to give a general picture of archaeological investigations during the last 10-15 years considering the late medieval desertion. The analyses-material consists mainly of reports from archaeological investigations.Most of the investigations analysed in this essay are investigations of single farms. Because of this it is natural these investigations do not say much about the width of the desertion.

The transformation among armed forces in Europe is a consequence due to shifted security perspective and the growth of international security actors, such as NATO and the EU. Sweden has played an active role in EU to ensure its influence in forming the security policy for the organisation. Some studies mean it´s because of Sweden?s interest in strengthen EUs roll as a security actor they transformed their own armed forces to be able to take part in international operations. This transformation led to what can be called ?the Swedish defence dismantle? and some studies mean that it has led to the point where Sweden completely lacks the ability to defence themselves.The question is if the ambition to become an active member in these security organisations can explain all the decisions made throughout the Swedish defence-transformation, or if some decisions were made due to other factors?By studying the decision process leading up to the decision to locate the flight education to Malmen in Linköping this study seeks to answer why the decision was made.

Två studenter vid Högskolan i Borås hade en dag fått nys om begreppet storytelling vilketverkade leva i ett bländande ljus av blomstrande ängar. Begreppet låg i startgroparna föratt erövra organisationsvärlden med dess fördelar och framgångsrecept. Dock hadestudenterna fått misstankar om de framgångsberikade texterna om storytelling. Något varpå tok, men vad det var för något visste de inte. Deras nyfikenhet fick dem att börja grävadjupare i sina misstankar och fann en gåta nog svår att lösa för en forskare.

Examensarbetet handlar om hur barns inflytande ser ut i förskolan. I arbetet redovisas det hur förskollärare stödjer barns inflytande och vilka faktorer som begränsar inflytandet. I undersökningen intervjuas förskollärare om hur de arbetar och vilka metoder som används för att stödja barns inflytande i förskolan. För att se vilka faktorer som begränsar barns inflytande används observationer, en metod som ger en inblick i hur förskollärarna agerar i verksamheten.  Resultatet visar att det finns olika metoder som förskolläraren använder sig av för att få in barns inflytande i förskolan bland annat den pedagogiska dokumentationen. Vidare får barnen inflytande genom att exempelvis göra aktiva val och vara med i förskolans planering. Resultatet visar även att förskolläraren har en ambition att främja barns inflytande men det finns olika faktorer som begränsar förskollärarens ambition.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka hur påtvingade brytpunkter, i detta fall nedläggning av en arbetsplats, upplevdes och vilka möjligheter individerna såg inför sina fortsatta karriärval. Den metod som användes var av kvalitativ art med ostrukturerade intervjufrågor riktat till sex respondenter som befann sig i samma situation. Resultatet visade att trots att de flesta respondenter kände chock och ilska när beskedet kom, så upplevde de ett år senare situationen som mer hanterbar och hade börjat strukturera i både tankar och handling vilka alternativ man såg som möjliga och åtkomliga. De slutsatser vi drog var att individens egen motivation har spelat stor roll och beslut som tagits har utgått ifrån den kontext man befunnit sig i. Flera var aktiva i sitt sökande efter nya möjligheter till sysselsättning och kunde med lite distans se denna oförutsedda händelse som ett tillfälle i livet att utifrån ett intresse finna en ny karriär.The purpose with the degree project was to investigate how forced turning points, in this case company closure, were experienced and what opportunities individuals could see concerning their continuous career choices.
