Aim: The aim was to investigate the ambulance nurses experiences during a specific ambulance missions that led to usage of LUCAS ?.Method: Participating ambulance nurses were randomly assigned from a total sample group of 12 women and 39 men. Five women and five men participated. Qualitative interviews were conducted, where the Critical Incident Technique approach was used. Collected interviews were valued using qualitative content analysis.Result: Interview texts were divided into three domains, 10 subcategories could be identified which were sorted into three categories.

Vattenfall Heat AB is a district heat provider in Drefviken, but has yet to establish any cooling systems in this area. This thesis examines the potential client base within the area today and over the coming 20 years. The feasibility of the most common cooling technologies is evaluated and results show a total potential for an installed capacity of 30 MW providing 50 GWh of cooling per year. One of the examined areas shows good prospect for heat driven absorption chillers during the summer months when the heat load is limited..

Ett hjärtstopp påverkar den drabbades liv på olika sätt och det är därför viktigt att sjuksköterskan har kunskap om dessa personers upplevelser. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur patienter upplever sin livskvalitet efter ett hjärtstopp. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie genomfördes med induktiv innehållsanalys. Resultat: Patienterna drabbades av fysiska förändringar som de på olika sätt försökte hantera.

 SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrundPostoperativt illamående och kräkningar (PONV) är de vanligaste komplikationerna efter kirurgi och anestesi. Många patienter kan uppleva illamående och kräkningar som ett större problem än postoperativ smärta i samband med kirurgiska ingrepp. Faktorer som kön, ålder och åksjuka kan öka risken att drabbas av PONV.SyfteStudiens syfte var att undersöka förekomsten av illamående efter hjärtkirurgi. Vi ville även kartlägga om det fanns skillnad mellan kvinnor och män, i ålder samt samband mellan åksjuka och tid med respiratorbehandling och illamående.   MetodStudiens design var kvantitativ. Data samlades in med hjälp av ett frågeformulär bland patienter som genomgått hjärtkirurgi.

Animal welfare issues are not considered as high priority in Malawi, a developing country in south east Africa, due to problems affecting the human population. In Lilongwe, the capital city, education programs are used to increase the awareness of animal welfare issues among primary school children. A study was undertaken to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practice of animal welfare in primary school children as well as two different teaching methods for animal welfare, namely humane lessons (HL) and Animal Kindness Clubs (AKC). The gender perspective, in terms of differences in attitude towards and knowledge in animal welfare, was also evaluated as well as the link between domestic and animal violence. The study was performed in collaboration with Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA). A questionnaire of multiple choice character was handed out to 249 children aged between 9 and 15 from six different schools.

Sjuksköterskan är oftaden som upptäcker patienter med hjärtstopp, och den som utbildar i HLR. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva nya alternativ till den traditionella metoden för HLR-utbildning. Metod: Examensarbetet är gjord som en litteraturöversikt och inkluderar elva vetenskapliga artiklar. Litteratursökningar gjordes i databaserna Pubmed, Cinahl och SveMed.

This study intends to analyze and compare the core litterature outlined in two specially selected teacher training establishments. The purpose of the investigation is to examine what specific perspectives they focus upon and the competences they require for teachers of tomorrow.The result shows that there are certain differences in perspective when varying the point of focus, but there are also common elements inte the core litterature between the two establishments. This analysis will provide a base for discussion on how the differences may be a result of the environment where the colleges of higher learning are situated and also on the individual needs in the surrounding area when they were first established..

This report explores how organizations act when they are choosing an Outsourcing supplier. The study was conducted through multiple interviews with managers of different organizations. The data from those interviews was then analyzed through the use of two theoretical models. Our findings indicate that most organizations share the same base factors (qualifiers) when selecting an Outsourcing supplier. What therefore become crucial are the key factors that the Organizations see as Order winning factors.

In this essay the aim is to look at difficulties in preservation of buildings in general, andespecially the ones of the modernist era. To navigate in this huge field the study is narroweddown to take place in Finspång, a small Swedish town. In Finspång there was a swimmingpool facility built in 1967. In 2003 the facility was closed down due to its unusable conditionsand then after seven years with discussions of different plans about what to do with thefacility it was demolished in 2010. This case is the base in the essay, and why it was notpreserved.The purpose of this essay is to look at what the people in Finspång think about preservation ofbuildings with the demolished swimming hall facility as base, and what impact materiality hason questions regarding preservation, cultural heritage, memory and history.

Sjuksköterskan inom ambulanssjukvården får i komplicerade situationer möta chockade närstående till patienter med hjärtstopp. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva sjuksköterskans erfarenheter av mötet med närstående till patienter med hjärtstopp inom den prehospitala sjukvården.Datainsamlingen har skett genom intervjuer med åtta sjuksköterskor inom ambulanssjukvården. Informanterna har berättat om möten de haft med närstående till patienter med hjärtstopp. Intervjuerna spelades in och transkriberades.

The difficulties don?t only exist during the road ahead but also when the children arrive to the new country. BACKGROUND: The relationship between physical activity and health versusphysical inactivity and poor health are well known. Ethnic minorities are generallyless physically active than the residence country's majority population andgenerally have a poorer health status. The study has a health promotion perspective.PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to describe factors that influencephysical activity among middle-aged and older persons, belonging to an ethnicminority. METHOD: The method used to answer the purpose is a literature-basedstudy. The searching for literature has been carried out in a systematic way.Scientific articles to base the results on, has been gathered from various databases.Included articles were analyzed with a qualitative content analysis and identifiedsimilarities and differences in the content were divided into themes and categories.RESULTS: Recurrent themes in the literature, that influence physical activity inmiddle-aged and older people that belong to an ethnic minority, was support, healthand illness, external factors, internal factors, community related and socioeconomicfactors and ignorance and beliefs.
