Användningen av cytostatika har haft en revolutionerande effekt på behandlingen av cancer, dock ger den många och delvis allvarliga biverkningar. Biverkningarna kan t ex vara illamående, håravfall och trötthet. Upplevelsen av cytostatikabehandling kan för de flesta innebära en fysisk och psykisk påfrestning. Denna studie syftade till att belysa hur patienter kunde uppleva sin cytostatikabehandling vid cancersjukdom. En litteraturstudie genomfördes baserad på artiklar med kvalitativ design.

Introduction Malignant lymphoma is the most common haematological blood cancer diagnosis. In spring 2013 a questionnaire was handed out to patients with various haematological malignancies. The results showed that the patients requested more verbal and written information about their disease and treatment. Providing information about chemotherapy and how it affects the patient's quality of life is part of the nursing care. Communication between nurse and patient is very important to share experiences and knowledge with each other Aim The aim is to describe the information and communication patients with malignant lymphoma demand, based on their own experience, in meeting with the nurse before and during curative chemotherapy treatment at a haematology outpatient clinic.

Background Anesthesia-related deaths are common in dogs, especially in the postoperative period, in compare to humans. This study aims to describe and elucidate the qualities of the postoperative care for dogs in Sweden. Method To investigate the postoperative care, a qualitative study was made by interviewing personnel in the animal health care sector. The primary information from the interviews was analyzed in a qualitative manor and a few distinguished qualities came forth. Results These qualities describe the postoperative care and include preventive activities, postoperative activities, monitoring and communication. A variation in regards to the results was seen between the interviewed.

The retailing industry has an extremely high density of brands. In order to differentiate its offer, both retailers and suppliers, are constantly forced to come up with new ways to launch their products. A collaborative strategy between two brands is called co-branding, which means that both the private label and the supplier's brand are displayed on the new product packaging. Several studies have shown that a co-branding strategy is successful, but many operators are still reluctant to use co-branding in fear of long-term losses due to potentially damaged business relations. The objective of this study is to explain how the product- and brand related value for customers, retailers and suppliers is affected by co-branding between private labels and national brands.

This master´s thesis is a comparative study of the importance of eight factors suggested in the literature to be related to the perceived utility of the service Book a librarian (Swe. Boka en bibliotekarie). Disciplinary differences were also analysed. 73 encounters between students and librarians in 11 Swedish academic libraries were studied using a survey. Six factors were significantly related (at the .05 level) to the utility of the service.

Prostatacancer är den vanligaste cancerformen i Sverige och räknas till en av de stora folksjukdomarna. Prostatektomi är en av behandlingsmetoderna vid denna typ av cancer och innebär att kirurgiskt avlägsna prostatakörteln och vävnaden runtomkring. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva mäns upplevelser efter genomförd prostatektomi till följd av prostatacancer. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades genom kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats. Detta resulterade i fem kategorier: fokusera på att bli av med cancern, förlust av kontroll och strävan att återfå kontrollen, behov av stöd och information, känslor av skam och frustration och förändringar i det sexuella samlivet.

The purpose of this paper was to look at the perception of self-determination for adults with intellectual disabilities from their perspective. We wanted to examine the experience of the space available for self-determination in some key areas of life, and how their own thoughts and ideas have been addressed by others. Through interviews with six people with intellectual disabilities, we have found that a single definition of self-determination is elusive. The key seems to be that you get the opportunity to do what you want, to have your voice heard and to receive and take responsibility. The space for self-determination is perceived by respondents as both large and small.

The main purpose of this study is to examine what the factor or factors are to why young exposed Kurdish women stay with their family despite honor-related oppression and violence.We have used a qualitative study process consisting interviews with eight young Kurdish women. Detta är en litteraturstudie av sjukdomen Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) som drabbar tasmansk djävul. De lever i vilt tillstånd på ön Tasmanien som ligger utanför Australiens södra kust. Tasmanska djävular är köttätande pungdjur i ungefär samma storlek som en rödräv. De är nattaktiva och lever ensamma, förutom vid konkurrens om föda och under parningsperioden då de möter andra tasmanska djävular. Vid dessa möten blir det ofta slagsmål för att göra upp rangordningen. DFTD ger stora tumörer i munhåla, ansikte och halsregion samt eventuella metastaser.

ABSTRACT The main purpose of IT security policies is to protect companies against intrusion and unwanted spread of information. Statistics show that IT related crimes tend to increase and because of that it is important, from the company?s side of view, to be well prepared. The IT security policy is an important part of that preparation. A lot of the crimes related to IT can be deduced indirectly to employees at the companies where the crime takes place.

Föreliggande systematiska litteraturstudie syftade till att samla information och söka evidens för bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnors omvårdnadsbehov från sjuksköterskans i form av stöd för psykiska, sociala eller informativa behov. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar valdes ut via databasen CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) och fulltextdatabasen ELIN (Elecronic Library Information Navigator) för vidare granskning. Till sökningen användes sökorden breast*, cancer*, nurs* och support. Alla utvalda artiklar som härrör till syftet kvalitetsbedömdes genom på förhand bestämda granskningskriterier från modifierade förlagor efter Forsberg och Wengström (2003) och Willman, Bahtsevani och Stoltz (2007). Av resultatet framkom det att det fanns stark evidens för att kvinnor med bröstcancer har ett omvårdnadsbehov av socialt stöd, psykiskt stöd och även av information av sjuksköterskan.

Bakgrund: Acceptance & Comittment Therapy (ACT) används i de flesta smärtkliniker i Sverige. Trots att ACT har bra evidens, är det oklart vilka behandlingsprotokoll som används. Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka hur ACT implementeras kliniskt för personer med långvarig smärta. Metod: En databassökning genomfördes med sökorden: "acceptance and commitment therapy" AND "chronic pain" OR "persistent pain" i : Portal proquest, CINAHL, PubMED och Scopus. De inkluderade studietyperna var RCT-studier, fallstudier, kvalitativa fallstudier, en studie som var både kvantitativ och kvalitativ och en reviewartikel med inkluderad kvalitativ fallstudie.

[Abstract: This study examines the observed difference between Swedish and foreign owners when it comes to nominating committee participation. The background to the study is that foreign owners seem to participate in Swedish nominating committees to a lesser extent than their Swedish counterparts. The focus is on institutional owners and the companies studied are all listed companies who follow the Swedish code of corporate governance. Particular attention is paid to perceived differences in behavior that can be explained using the common corporate governance related theories of Exit, Voice and Loyalty as well as Agency Theory. These explanations are chiefly related to differences in attitudes regarding insider information, different knowledge levels regarding the purpose and workings of nominating committees of the Swedish kind as well as differences due to home market biases.].

This thesis presents a comparative study of image registration at two picture collection libraries. The two registration systems are analyzed as to the theoretical principles behind them and their practical application, and related to theoretical tools for subject analysis and bibliographic standards. While a growing number of picture collections now digitize their material, generally accepted standards and methods for the registration of digital images are still lacking. Many different systems coexist, often developed in-house in response to ad hoc needs and based on traditional registration tools created for textual documents, resulting in internationally incompatible mixed-format systems. The two picture collections examined here, however, have opted for similar, standardized tools for registration and subject analysis, and while there are differences in their application and focus, they have both considered issues of cross-system compatibility.

The employer and collective agreements bearing employee union are often involved in collaborative agreements to facilitate cooperation between them. The purpose of this study is to investigate two local employers and related collective bearing employee unionsview of the cooperation agreement related to the MBL. The purpose leads to these questions:?How can co-operation agreements affect 11 and 19 § § MBL??What are theadvantages and disadvantages cooperation agreementscan lead to, regardingemployer disclosure and negotiation duty?To try to sort out these issues are interviews conducted to create a greater understanding of the work of the Cooperation Agreement between organizations and how it affects them.Results of the study suggest that collaboration agreement leads to simplifications in the work of the employer's information and bargaining duty.
