The purpose of this paper has been to study how users experiences and behaviors are influenced by a "like" function, when publication of images in social media with the photo app Instagram as the selected base. In this study respondents has been part of a study regarding their experiences and behavior related to "like" function in Instagram. The results of the question form have then been analyzed to find patterns in their behavior and to exemplify/reinforce different type of user-behavior found in related scientific articles.The study has shown that the behavior of Instagram users is affected by the "like" function, when they believes that the function is a status marker that raises the interest for certain users by the number of likes. Through my results, I have been able to amplify and illustrate several theories of Goffman, Buckingham and Gripsrud which are presented in the report..

Bakgrund: Antalet cancerfall ökar konstant, men tack vare förbättrade metoder för att upptäcka och behandla cancer överlever allt fler denna sjukdom. Både sjukdomen och dess behandlingar kan ge en påverkan på kroppen, men även den sexuella lusten och funktionen kan påverkas och förändras. Ett fungerande sexualliv utgör en viktig del av livskvaliteten för de flesta. Vårdpersonalen har en viktig roll i att förbereda patienten på vilka symtom de kan förvänta sig, men patienterna önskar ofta avsevärt mycket mer information än vad som ges. Syfte: Att belysa cancerpatienters behov av sexualitetsrelaterad information.

In this study I will analyze how men who buy sex interact with one another on two different Internet communities: ?Sekreterarakademin? and ?Flashback?. This analysis is carried out in an attempt to challenge the conventional image of the man who pays for sex.The aim is to examine the role of Internet forums for men who buy sexual services related to cross-border, both in terms of standard borders, gender boundaries, boundaries of sexuality and masculinity. I will also attempt to investigate what opportunities that are available to overrun different borders and how these opportunities affect the conditions of the various players. I will evaluate theories such as homosocialtet, hegemonic masculinity and normalization used by KAST (Köpare Av Sexuella Tjänster, the Swedish public support for clients of sexual services) and which are partially consolidated in studies published by KAST concerning issues related to internet based prostitution..

Aim: To describe perceptions about written and verbal information regarding diet and physical activity in women with breast cancer and to study possible differences between ages and perception. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted and consisted of 57 women with breast cancer stages I-III who started adjuvant chemotherapy within a year (2007-2008). A questionnaire, regarding their perceptions about the written and verbal information they had received about diet and physical activity, was responded to three months following treatment completion. Between 67-93 % of the participants responded to the questions. The answers was analyzed with descriptive statistics and Mann Whitney U-test.

AbstractThis master thesis is a hermeneutic inspired case study of how the value base regarding the environmental and social responsibility in the Swedish coffee company Löfbergs Lila AB is affecting the company's business. A thesis inspired by hermeneutics means that it is based on two ideas, the one of interaction between entirety and partitions and the one of interpretation (Alvesson & Sköldberg 1994). This cause that the emphasis is on how the reality is interpreted and that it never can be seen as completely objective.The case study was conducted during the spring semester of 2010 at Karlstad's University and consists of both empirical and theoretical material collected during this time. The empirical material in this thesis includes, among other things, interviews with four representatives of Löfbergs Lila AB, written material from the company regarding its work related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), some information about the coffee industry as a whole and different certifications for "ethical? coffee that exists on the Swedish market.The basic idea with CSR as a business strategy is that it can be financially beneficial for companies to take a social and environmental responsibility outside of the company (Vogel 2005).

The aim of the current study was to highlight the social service work with domestic violence against women. In this study, we examined whether there was a difference in the way the social service works and if their effort differ in terms of domestic violence. Moreover, this study investigated how social workers work to prevent future violence against victims also what method they use to find out the causes behind men?s violence against women.A total of four administrative officers were interviewed from two different municipalities. All four officers were actively working with questions concerning domestic violence against women.

Few would disagree that the media landscape has undergone significant changes the last decade. From bulky computers and plain mobile phones to portable High-Definition computers and multi-functional smartphones. Other media, such as newspapers and music, have evolved and prospered in a digitalized environment. The constant urge to digitalize aspects and functions of our daily lives seems almost instinctive. Television has taken further steps into this environment as it is now accepted and featured via the Internet.

The purpose of this study was to examine how young men and women who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) who are exposed to honor related violence, intimidation or repression perceive their situation, what kind of help/support they have received and if they feel that the help and support offered by the society has been adequate. After the murder of Fadime Sahindal in 2002 attention was drawn to honor violence in Sweden. During the period 2003-2007 the government invested 200 million SEK for efforts to prevent honor related violence. Studies have shown that honor related violence not only affects young immigrants, but also young people with different sexual orientation then heterosexual. It also shows that the honor violence is not depended on religion or ethnicity.

The aim of this paper is to examine the actualities of Information Practicefor single women whose parentage has been made possible through assistedreproduction, which places these parents in a norm-breaking position.Study issues related to parents? perceptions of information needs areinvestigated, as is the process of information retrieval and library usageas well as the obstacles and opportunities facing parents in search ofinformation related to their own family constellation. To this end, theoriesby Tom Wilson, Reijo Savolainen and Elfreda A. Chatman have been usedas a model of selection. Empirical data have been gathered from interviewswith eight single women, whose parentage has been made possible throughartificial insemination or IVF with sperm from an open or anonymousdonor.

Syfte och frågeställningar Studiens syfte var att undersöka om utförandet av en isometrisk bålstabiliseringsövning/coreövning kunde påverka upplevelsen av smärta i nacke, axlar och skuldror hos kvinnor med kronisk/långvarig idiopatisk smärta. Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur påverkar utförandet av övningen ?plankan? upplevelsen av smärta i nacke, axlar och skuldror hos deltagarna? Förändras den maximala uthålligheten i övningen mellan deltagarnas första och sista träningstillfälle? Kan interventionen fullföljas av deltagarna?Metod Fyra kvinnliga deltagare som alla hade kronisk/långvarig smärta i nacke, axlar eller skuldror utförde övningen ?plankan? som hemträningsövning under fyra veckors tid. Mängden träning dokumenterades i en träningsdagbok som deltagarna kontinuerligt fyllde i under träningsperioden. Före samt inom en vecka efter träningsperioden ifylldes en enkät med frågor om upplevd intensitet, frekvens och lokalisation av smärta.

I bakgrunden förklaras vad begreppen smärta, kronisk smärta, lindra, smärtbedömning och smärtlindring innebär. I sjuksköterskans dagliga arbete är en uppgift att lindra kronisk smärta hos patienter. Idag lever många människor med denna typ av smärta, och dessa patienter förekommer överallt inom hälso- och sjukvården. Patienter med denna smärta visar inte hela tiden att de har ont eftersom de ofta har lärt sig att leva med den. Därför finns det stor risk att sjuksköterskor undervärderar patientens värk.

För personer som drabbas av sjukdom kan det innebära att känslan av den bekanta och den igenkännliga kroppen förändras. Cancer i de sexuella- och reproduktiva organen påverkar kvinnor och mäns sexualitet efter cancerbehandling. Sexualitet kan vara ett svårt ämne att ta upp som hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva upplevelsen av sexualitet hos personer som genomgått cancerbehandling i de sexuella- och reproduktiva organen. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 15 vetenskapliga artiklar ingick och analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats.

Bakgrund: Ett växande antal svårt cancersjuka människor föredrar att vårdas i hemmet. Närstående är en självklar del av modern palliativ vård, och det är en central uppgift för den palliativa vården att stödja även dem. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa närståendes behov av stöd vid vård i hemmet av vuxna cancersjuka i livets slutskede. Metod: Som underlag för denna litteraturstudie har 14 vetenskapliga artiklar använts inom tidsperioden 2001-2011. Resultat: Resultatet visade att närstående hade behov av stöd i den vårdande rollen av cancersjuk i hemmet som redovisas i 3 kategorier och 6 subkategorier.

Introduktion: Ordet cancer skapar oro hos de flesta människor. I vår kommande yrkesroll som sjuksköterskor kommer vi att möta cancerpatienter och deras anhöriga där tonåringar kan vara en utav familjemedlemmarna. Det är viktigt att skapa en förståelse för hur tonåringar upplever sin förälders cancersjukdom. Syftet: Studiens syfte var att belysa tonåringars upplevelser av att leva med en cancersjuk förälder. Metoden: Studien utfördes som en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med åtta artiklar som grund.

Bakgrund: När ett barn får cancer förändras livet för hela familjen. Den tuffa behandlingen är påfrestande på alla medlemmar i familjen. En okunskap om hur syskonens hälsa påverkas finns både hos föräldrar och sjukvårdspersonal.Syfte: Att belysa hur syskon till cancerdrabbade barn upplever sin hälsa.Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie baserad på 5 kvantitativa och 5 kvalitativa artiklar. Databaserna PubMed och Cinahl användes för sökning av vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades och en latent innehållsanalys användes.Resultat: I resultatet uppkom 5 kategorier kring syskon till cancersjuka barns behov och brister som påverkade hälsan.
