Högt hus i Chongqing/Kina - ett bostadsprojekt

This is a project showing a proposal on how a high-rise building gains qualities similar to middle rise houses of 7-9 stories. The closed, isolated and often anonymous life in the high building opens up through gardens. The resident meet the outdoor environment on the balcony, or has direct access to a garden.Instead of moving in a closed core, the resident will meet the climate and outdoor conditions as soon as he or she leaves the apartment.The project consists of two parts, where the first is presenting a building proposal, the second is expanding the knowledge through background research. Our experience is that at many workplaces as good as everyone use computers and everyone is expected to have digital skills. However at most schools the reality is far from this. According to Findahl's report from 2009, 99 percent of all pupils (in Sweden) have access to computers and Internet, yet it is rare that they get school assignments where the use of Internet is acquired (Findahl 2009).The purpose of our paper is to understand how digital media can be used as a resource for learning, through the perspective of young people.

Det vidgade textbegreppet i läromedel för kursen Engelska A

Det här arbetet har främst koncentrerat sig på att utveckla kunskapen om vad det vidgade textbegreppet innebär samt att undersöka begreppets innebörd i kursplaner och läromedel för Engelska A. Därtill har det syftat till att belysa hur det vidgade textbegreppet förhåller sig till en kommunikativ språksyn. För att komma ifrån de problem som begreppet ?ett vidgat textbegrepp? skapar har här använts ett nytt uttryck, ?kommunikativa uttryck? eftersom det på ett bra sätt fångar upp det man vill uppnå med det vidgade textbegreppet. Metoden som har använts för detta har varit att jämföra de tre första kapitlen i vart och ett av läromedlen, Straight Forward English 5(Harling et al, 2006), Blueprint A version 2.0(Lundfall et al, 2008) samt Core English 1 (Gustafsson et al, 2008). Materialet har jämförts ur två aspekter; dels vilka typer av kommunikationsuttryck som förekommer i texterna, dels vilka instruktioner som har återfunnits i läromedlen och lärarhandledningarna för att bearbeta de olika kommunikationsuttrycken. Arbetet har kommit fram till två viktiga slutsatser. Den första slutsatsen är att många olika kommunikationsuttryck finns representerade i de tre första kapitlen i läromedlen Straight Forward English 5 (Harling et al, 2006), Blueprint A version 2.0 (Lundfall et al, 2008) och Core English 1(Gustafsson et al, 2008). Dock är de övningar som finns med för att bearbeta dessa kommunikationsuttryck i första hand där för att fördjupa elevernas förståelse av texterna.
