This final thesis is a basic inquiry into a countryside programme for the municipality of Hässleholm. By interviewing people who live in the countryside in the municipality of Hässleholm I?ve tried to get a picture of how the thoughts on development of countryside are. Trough these interviews I?ve also tried to find out how people on the countryside defines the concept of countryside.

The purpose of this paper is to test a procedure that would be useful for a certain, more final purpose. Assume that you want to know if the differences in the result of a certain effort in health care have any connection with differences between the life situations of the patients. This would be easier to investigate if the life situations of the patients had connection to the easily available variable Health Care Cost (in Swedish VK). In that case the searching for connections between VK of patient groups and the result of health care efforts would be sufficient to gain knowledge of possible connection between health care efforts and life situations. Thus that is the final purpose.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and increase the understanding of how the two commercial companies IKEA and SAS and the two aid organizations/nonprofit organizations UNICEF and Save the Children use perceptions of Christmas to produce messages in their Christmas advertising/commercial film. The study also discusses if there may be communicative and pictorial similarities and differences in how these brands constructs messages in commercials, and why it may be that the brands choose to use these messages in commercials based on the recipient possible interpretations. The theories used in this study are promotional culture, framing theory, preferred meaning, semiotics (denotation and connotation), myth and rhetoric (ethos, pathos and logos). The method used to answer the purpose and issues are the qualitative method that uses the theories semiotic and rhetoric to analyze the material. The study's results derived from the qualitative content analyzes of the material (the brands IKEA, SAS, UNICEF and Save the Children Christmas advertising films) show that IKEA message might want to show that they want to help the customer and that they pay attention to the customer needs.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka betydelsen av en kurs för cheferna i ledarskapsutveckling för medarbetarna på ett större industriföretag i Sverige. Huruvida medarbetarnas arbetstrivsel utifrån självskattning av områden för prestation, arbetsgrupp, individ, arbetssituation, samt ledarskap skiljer sig mellan före en genomförd ledarskapsutbildning, direkt efter, och vid en ettårs uppföljning.Då rådata från mätningarna år 2010 och 2011 inte fanns tillgängliga, utan måste rekonstrueras från procentsammanställningar av svar och information om hur många som svarat på de olika påståendena (57 st.), analyserades svaren till varje enskilt påstående med en envägsvariansanalys med mellanpersonsdesign och år som oberoendevariabel.Resultatet indikerade att ledarskapsutveckling bidragit till positiva effekter för medarbetarnas självskattning inom områdena för prestation, individ, arbetssituation och främst inom området för ledarskap, där 13 av 15 påstående visade på signifikanta skillnader. Inom området arbetsgrupp visade dock ingen signifikans. Vidare var syftet att studera om ledarskapsutveckling även bidragit till ökad produktivitet. För att kunna se skillnader i maxprestationen mellan år 2010 och 2011 användes ett t-test.

The problem being examined is the disturbing noise that is created in an open plan office on a company working with a creative process, such as a newspaper or a communications agency. The purpose of this study was to examine the needs for today for a sound absorber in open offices and create and design a design proposal. The aim is also to develop a marketing material the product proposal. The problem has been broken down into the following questions:- How does the user look at the need of a sound absorber in an open offices solution today?- Does an interior designer apply sound absorbers when they furnish the intended environment? - How can a design that meets the needs that exists be achieved and to speak the user?The study is based on three choice of methods a literature review on selected topics that relate to the topic, an interview with an interior designer to explore how an interior designer applies absorbers in open plan office and finally an extensive survey that treats the user's needs and appropriate appearance for the product proposal.The design process has undertaken the following methods, design brief, requirements specification, functional analysis and sketches to produce the final product proposal.

This thesis is performed in cooperation with Prodelox AB and JTI (Swedish Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering). The purpose of the project is to generate and develop a WC-technique with a closet sewer that keeps a higher TS-substance than 1.5 %. The WC-technique is mainly directed towards permanent households in sparsely-populated areas and cabins. The goal is to generate concepts of toilets with an extremely low use of water in terms of flushing. The design should be appealing and touch more senses than only the visual.

För några år sedan togs politiska initiativ på överstatlig nivå att definiera entreprenörskap som en grundläggande kompetens hos varje samhällsmedborgare och en angelägenhet för skolväsendet. Som en följd av detta kom även den svenska grundskolans nationella styrdokument Läroplan för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 2011 (Skolverket 2011), att innehålla skrivningar om entreprenörskap. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka, beskriva och bidra med kunskap om hur lärare förstår och tar sig an det entreprenöriella uppdraget i Lgr 11 samt hur man ser på lärarrollen i en entreprenöriell praktik. Studien har en fenomenologisk forskningsansats och med fallstudien som forskningsstrategi genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex lärare som undervisade i grundskolans årskurs 7-9. Resultatet av studien visade att lärarna upplevde att det entreprenöriella uppdraget i Lgr 11 till stor del handlar om att eleverna inom ramen för undervisningen ska utveckla entreprenöriella förmågor som kreativitet, ansvarstagande, samarbetsförmåga och initiativförmåga.

Truppgymnastik (eng. teamgymnastics) är en mycket populär form av gymnastik vars ursprung finns i Skandinavien. Idag finns det runt 20,000 tävlingslicensierade trupp-gymnaster i Sverige. Fot/fotled är de kroppsdelar som är mest utsatta för skador inom idrotten. Syftet var att undersöka skadeincidens och skadetillfälle av fotledsdistorsioner de tre månaderna innan och under en svensk juniortävling 2011 i kvinnlig truppgymnastik.

This study is about young girls' mental health. In Sweden, the mental health deteriorated in recent years among adolescents, particularly among young girls. Results of the Liv & Hälsa Ung in 2011 in the southern part of the county of Örebro is the basis for the study. The results of the survey showed that a remarkable number of young girls rate their mental health as poor. The purpose of this study was to examine what young girls in southern part of the county of Örebro County believes are contributing factors for good mental health and the method used is qualitative.

In this two years master?s thesis I examine the library?s representation of research and its influence upon the relationship between the library practice and the research practice. I also intend to find out what controls the representation and if it is possible to see changes in the representation over time. My source material has been texts published in the Swedish library journal ? and social domain ? Biblioteksbladet during the last decennium (2001?2011).

This study examines how Sweden?s four biggest newspapers deal with the attacks in Oslo and on Utøya the 22nd of July 2011. This date, where the ethnic Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik, bombed the goverment headquarter and killed 69 people at a political camp, will be remembered for a long period of time.  With its critical perspective, this study examines a total of thirteen news articles published within eight days after the attacks in Oslo and on Utøya, to see in what way the Swedish news papers constructs Breivik as a person. Furthermore the study examines in what way the Swedish newspapers makes connections to Sweden and to what extent speculation is used in the news articles. The theoretical premises for the study are the critical discourse analysis, and key elements within it that is used are ideology, discourse and micro- and macro analysis. The conclusion shows that Swedish newspapers are disposed to construct Breivik as a unique individual who falls outside the normative scopes in their explanations of a murderer or a terrorist.

Simulations of simulink models using Kalman filters are often very time-consuming. This problem depends mainly on the fact that the Kalman correction has to be performed at each sample instance through the whole simulation. The goal for this thesis work is to reduce that time-consumption for the filtering part (the integration partis treated in a complementary report) of a simulation. Furthermore a Matlab routine to perform parameter tuning and finally a graphical user interface is developed.The filtering part of the simulation in this thesis is based on an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). The time optimization of this filter considers searching for the possibility to replace the today?s existing Matlab functions that is used to perform the filtering calculations.

Syftet med detta arbete är att försöka få en bild av vad det var som gjorde att kursen Estetisk verksamhet ansågs viktig nog att bli ett kärnämne 1994, och varför den inte längre ansågs viktig och togs bort 2011. Med hjälp av kritisk diskursanalys undersöks argument för och emot kursen som de förs fram i texter från regering, riksdag och media vid dessa tidpunkter, med betoning på vad dessa säger om kursens status och position i gymnasiet och i den skolpolitiska debatten. Studien visar att när Estetisk verksamhet infördes 1994 var det för att låta eleverna uppleva och själva skapa, baserat i en humanistisk diskurs. När kursen togs bort 2011 var det för att andra ämnen ansågs behöva mer utrymme för att ge eleverna en tydligare yrkes- eller högskoleförberedande utbildning, baserat i en marknadsekonomisk diskurs. Fokus för vad som var viktigt i gymnasieskolan skiftade under de sjutton år som gått däremellan, och i den nya läroplanens inriktning på nyttobaserad utbildning fick inte Estetisk verksamhet plats. Den skolpolistiska synen på kunskap förändrades från en demokratisk tanke om att ge alla samma möjligheter, till ett differentierat ideal där individens kunskap ska vara mätbar och samhällsnyttig. .

Bakgrund: Läkemedel är den vanligaste behandlingsformen inom sjukvården och samtidigt det är det bästa och mest effektiva alternativet, så är användningen av läkemedel förenat med risker och bieffekter. Dessa bieffekter är en av de ledande anledningarna till dödsfall i de flesta länder. Upp till 60 % av läkemedelsrelaterade problem skulle kunna undvikas. Det kan vara ett fel som kommer att skada, eller har potential att skada patienten, även kallad undvikbar läkemedelsavvikelse, som kan förekomma i läkemedelskedjan. I SVerige avlider 3150 personer per år av sådana skador.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva de undvikbara läkemedelsavvikelser som har rapporterats inom Synergi i Landstinget i Östergötland under 2011.Metod: Genomgång av landstinget avvikelserapporteringssystem Synergi med rapporter relaterade till läkemedel.
