Rapidly, the major recording companies have prosecuted the Napster Company and managed to force it to close down. They were arguing against it for it is supporting the development on a large scale traffic of files protected by copyright and thus was threatening the whole music and movies economic world.

The shopping mall is a reflection of the city and its habitants, a concentrate of the modern city. I have studied the dialogues of malls and the communication within, how malls are put together and what they communicate. The city is constantly changing. As soon as we try to grasp the city, it slips away. My opinion is that city planners and landscape architects need to widen their views. Sub Saharan Africa has during the last decade become the world?s fastest urbanizing region. This change is concentrated to a few metropolitan areas one of them being Dar es Salaam, the largest city of Tanzania. Since the 1960s Dar es Salaam has grown from being a relatively small coastal city of approximately 300 000 people to become a bustling urban centre of four million inhabitants. This development has had a major impact on the city structure, which in turn has affected people?s welfare and the surrounding environment. One such consequence is the detrimental loss of urban vegetation and open areas in the city.

De flesta EHEC-falli Sverige förekommer i åldersgruppen ett till fyra år.Syfte: Studienssyfte var att undersöka värdet av en EHEC-screening hos barn under tio år genom att kartlägga förekomst av EHEC och distribution av serotypoch stx-typer. Ytterligare ett syfte var att undersöka om den kliniska bilden är beroende av serotyp och stx-typ. Därutöver undersöktes hur länge man utsöndrars tx i avföringen.Metod: I studien ingick alla barn under tio års ålder, som lämnat avföringsprov under perioden 1 maj 2003 till 30 april 2013i Jönköpingslän.

SyfteStudiens övergripande syfte var att undersöka vilka skäl som finns till att avstå från hälsotester genomförda inom företagshälsovård. För att synliggöra och öka förståelsen för dessa skäl, var studiens delsyften att undersöka bortfallsgruppens inställning till hälsotesteroch hälsosatsningar, där hälsotester ingår som en del.MetodGenom kontakt med Liv&Lust AB och Preem Petroleum AB gavs möjlighet attgenomföra en studie av bortfallsgruppen, dvs. de individer som arbetar på Preem, Huvudkontoret på Gärdet i Stockholm, och som avstått från att, på frivillig basis, deltaga i Liv&Lust Första Hälsoplantest under 2002-2003. En kvalitativ intervju genomfördes med nio personer ur bortfallsgruppen under våren 2003 på Preem:s huvudkontor. In this Master thesis an effective method is presented to find out what is requested in a forest or outdoor recreation. The aim with the study is to find out how Sveaskog can increase the general interest for experiences in nature and improve the access for recreation. Some questions that have been used to answer this purpose are: Who is visiting/not visiting the recreation area? How is it possible to increase the number of visits? The study is carried out in Kilsbergen and mainly centered around Ånnaboda, which is the natural place for people to meet at and undertake recreational activities. The method that is used is a mail-survey that was sent to visitors and people living in Örebro. People living in Örebro represent potential visitors who live close to the recreation area.

The aim of this master thesis is to investigate how the OPACs Online Public Access Catalogue used by public libraries have adapted the features and possibilities offered by online catalogues, for the purpose of searching for fiction. This is done by comparing five OPACs to Amazon.com, an online bookstore. The questions investigated are: Have the OPACs developed from the principles of the card catalogue and adapted to the features and possibilities offered by online catalogues, when searching for fiction? Can the library catalogue provide the same features as Amazon.com, when searching for fiction? How do the OPACs use the resources that online catalogues provide when searching for fiction, compared with Amazon.com? The thesis is based on two qualitative studies. The first study presents five OPACs from different library systems and examines which features they have in common with Amazon.com.

The partly autobiographical book Valley of Issa, written by Czeslaw Milosz describes (among other things) the childhood of a boy, Tomasz who is the main character, and his interactions with his relatives. In this essay I will claim that these characters possess startlingly obvious autistic traits, and in relation with this I raise and discuss another question: Does the author Milosz himself express autistic traits? My essay could hardly constitute a complete analysis with definite answers, (the bachelor format of the essay and the fact that Milosz is dead limits more extensive investigations) and I do not mean to claim that Milosz was a sick person, even though I may suspect it. Let this essay be an eye-opener and a visionary foundation for new approaches to Milosz authorship. The value of it lies in its approach.

I litteraturstudien presenteras metoder som används för diagnostisera PPID idag och metoder som studeras för att få en möjlighet till säkrare diagnosställande. I detta examensarbete sammanställs resultaten från drygt fem års dexametasonhämningstester (DT) som utförts i Sverige och som analyserats av Klinisk kemiska laboratoriet, Universitetsdjursjukhuset Uppsala (UDS). Etthundra enkäter angående de hästar med plasmakortisolvärden ovan 10 nmol/l men under 100 nmol/l skickades ut till ansvarig veterinär för att utreda om resultatet på testet verkade överensstämma med den slutliga diagnosen.

Independent schools are a central issue in the school world, the perception of independent schools varies and many people express opinions about them in the media. An independent school is according to the National Agency a school that has a different principal than the county or municipality. Independent schools may not charge fees but their revenue comes from municipal grants from municipalities (Berglund 2007, p. 10). An independent school can be driven by an association, foundation or company and to run an independent school requires a permit from the Education Department.The purpose of this paper is to see how four principals at independent schools with a Muslim profile are working to strengthen their students? Muslim identity in relation to the society they live in and how schools work with value issues.

Projektledares kompetens utgör en av de främsta framgångsfaktorerna för ett väl genomfört projekt. Genom att matcha projekt efter deras komplexitet med projektledare som besitter rätt kompetens hoppas företag öka sannolikheten för att projekten ska lyckas gå i mål inom tids- och kostnadsram. Problematiken uppenbarar sig dock direkt då en projektledares kompetens ska mätas. Vad är det egentligen man ska beakta? Detta är långt ifrån självklart och även om flera förslag, exempelvis genom certifiering för projektledare, har presenterats kvarstår frågan om hur den efterfrågade kompetensen kan utvecklas.
