Denna studie behandlar frågor om media, ideal och ungdomar. Media har stor betydelse i dagens samhälle och förmedlar bilder av utseendet som skapar olika ideal. Ungdomar är mer mottagliga för dessa ideal eftersom de befinner sig i en period i livet när de försöker finna sin egen stil. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur tv presenterar utseendet i de tv- program som ungdomar tittade på. Vi genomförde en mindre enkätundersökning som visade att ungdomarna såg mest på tv-programmen Idol 2005, Vänner och OC.

.The Whole language program is in Sweden generally referred to as ?Kiwimetoden? - ?the Kiwi program? (author?s direct translation) partly due to the fact that the Whole language program originates from New Zealand. Whole language is basically a literacy program and approaches literacy from a holistic point of view. Children learning to read and write should do so in the same natural way children learn to speak their native language which is in the context of authentic language as a whole. In Sweden the program is generally practiced together with a commercial and pre-organised material called ?kiwi? or ?Stjärnsvenska?.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

Flera allvarliga skandaler har genom åren skadat revisorsyrkets rykte och trovärdighet vilket har gett upphov till flertalet lagförslag och lagförändringar med syftet att öka revisorns oberoende och således revisionskvaliteten. I och med den pågående finanskrisen har EU framfört ett lagförslag som bland annat innefattar krav på obligatorisk byrårotation för publika bolag.I denna studie analyseras eventuella kostnads- och kvalitetsförändringar för svenska publika bolag vid ett frivilligt byte av revisionsbyrå. I dagsläget är det inte möjligt att studera effekterna av obligatorisk byrårotation i Sverige, men i denna studie anser vi att vissa effekter av ett frivilligt byte är överförbara till en kontext med obligatorisk byrårotation.Syftet med studien var att undersöka om bolag som bytt revisionsbyrå erhållit initiala rabatter på revisionskostnaden och om revisionskvaliteten påverkades vid bytet.Resultaten visade att revisionskostnaden för publika bolag ökade året efter byråbytet. Tre år efter bytet erhöll bolagen rabatter och fyra år efter bytet hade revisionskostnaden återgått till normala nivåer. Studien visade även att de bolag som anlitat en revisionsbyrå som tillhör ?The Big 4? fick betala mer i revisionskostnad än de som anlitat en ?mindre? byrå.

The primary intention of this paper was to visually compare film trailers without considering semantic information, through use of a self-developed Matlab program, resembling that of human perception. Circa 150 people participated in an online survey where they were shown two film trailers and asked to rate their visual similarities. The result from the program was weighted against the survey results in such a way that the weights corresponded to a 75% accuracy between the program?s and the participant?s (for participants with prior experience in the field of photography and/or film) comparisons.How accurate can we compare still images from film trailers, and find similar trailers for the human viewer, by analyzing saturation, color tone, contrast and lightness with a self-developed Matlab program..

The object with this work was to create a simple feeding program for beef cows. Another object was that I could learn more about the properties and functions of Excel and Visual Basic. I used parts of a program I designed a few years ago. This old program was neither user friendly nor had it an appealing layout. Initially I decided how I wanted the new program to appear and on which foundation it should be built. I designed various forms into a spread sheet, such as lists and multiple choice buttons. Using VBA (Visual Basic for Application) I could create macros, which used the information chosen in the lists and with the multiple choices to calculate the feeding requirement or the feeding plan.

ABSTRACTIn this study, five people were interviewed who are involved in a drug-assisted program for opiate addiction, also called substitution program. The meaning of substitution is that these clients' drug addiction is replaced with substitute preparations, either methadone or Subutex in an orderly manner. The clients of the researcher decided to study the substitution program have all been a heavy opiate addiction for years. Their participation in the replacement program is more than two years, and those who have been around the longest have been in the program for six years, so long as the substitution program has existed in Visby.This is a qualitative study in which interviews are conducted face to face with each individual client, and the interview was unstructured in the sense that no specific issues made in advance. The interviews have been themed, and the researcher has gone through various areas of life around the respondent.

When different type of programs are developed one wants to make these adjustable to future changes and requirements. It must be done a good design of the program from the beginning to make it possible to continue development of it without having to redo big parts of it to high costs. In the area of object orientation there are design pattern, which can be used to design systems that can be adjusted to new changes in an easier way. I have in this thesis chosen to take a closer look at how to design a program that sends SMS to cell phones through a system of an operator. One requirement on the program is that it has to be possible to change what operator to send though in an easy way.

I och med införandet av redovisningsstandarden IAS 36 år 2005 måste svenska börsnoterade företag årligen testa om en nedskrivning av den immateriella tillgången goodwill skall genomföras. Tidigare forskning tyder på att en nytillträdd vd utnyttjar denna standard genom att manipulera resultatet. Vidare visar forskning att ett företags ägarstruktur påverkar goodwillnedskrivningens storlek. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida nedskrivningar av goodwill påverkas vid vd-byten i familjeägda företag jämfört med i icke familjeägda företag.Undersökningen omfattar Nasdaq OMX Stockholm under tidsperioden 2005-2013. Resultatet visar statistiskt säkerställt att familjeägda företag gör lägre goodwillnedskrivningar samma år som ett vd-byte än vad icke familjeägda företag gör.

The aim of this study was to describe, analyze and compare the Left Party?s, the Social Democratic Party?s, the Liberal People?s Party?s and the Moderate Party?s ideas on immigration policy from 1960-2010. In this study the immigration policy program or party program was analyzed through idea analysis to find out what immigration policy interventions they have come with, and if they want to assimilate or integrate immigrants. Materials used for the study are the immigration policy programs and party programs. Even scientific journals and articles have been used, in both national and international level.

Vid utveckling av nya såväl som befintliga produkter är marknadsföringsundersökningen en viktig komponent. Genom att använda sensorisk analys och konsumenttest ökar chanserna att skapa en konkurrenskraftig produkt.Denna studie grundas på ett samarbete mellan Institutionen för kostvetenskap vid Uppsala universitet och ett svenskt livsmedelsföretag.Syftet var att undersöka huruvida en förändring i grundreceptet hos fem (A, B, C,D,E) produkter kunde uppfattas av konsumenten samt om de nya versionerna föredrogs framför de befintliga. Slutligen undersöktes om ett visst attribut förklarade konsumentens val. Två konsumenttest, ett acceptanstest och ett preferenstest utfördes där 100 deltagare testade produkt A och resterande produkter testades av 30 personer respektive (N=220).Resultatet från preferenstestet visade att en majoritet av respondenterna föredrog den nya versionen för Produkt A, B, D och E men att en signifikant skillnad (P=5%) kunde endast utlösas för Produkt A (P=0,002). Inget av acceptanstesten visade någon signifikant skillnad.Slutsatsen som dras är att byte av huvudingrediens inte uppfattas negativt av konsumenten och att den nya versionen är ett acceptabelt alternativ.

The Swedish Armed Force has a need to streamline the preparation of an exercise in tactical training for soldiers because the preparation of an exercise is currently laborious and time consuming when commanders manually share files to each computer that will be included in the exercise. The degree project was to create a file sharing program within the internal network of the Defence Forces? international centre (Swedint). The program is used by the training management to effectively start up an exercise where soldiers train tactical training in a simulated combat environment. The training management use this program to upload files to a server which notifies all the computers on the network to download these files.

Bakgrund: Kursplanen i Svenska A anger mål och kriterier som är gemensamma för alla elever oavsett gymnasieprogram. Vi tycker oss ha sett, under våra VFU-perioder, att tolkningen av mål och kriterier ser olika ut på olika program. Vad är det för en syn på grammatik vi kommer att möta i vår framtida lärargärning? Syfte: Att undersöka om det finns en samsyn kring grammatikundervisning i svenskämnets kurs A i jämförelse mellan yrkes- och studieförberedande gymnasieprogram, samt vilka skäl lärare anger för grammatikundervisning. Våra frågeställningar är följande: Har lärare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program samma motiv till grammatikundervisning? Genomför lärare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program grammatikundervisning på likartat sätt? Definierar lärare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program grammatik på samma sätt? Förekommer diskussioner om grammatik i undervisningen mellan lärare? Metod: Vi har genomfört åtta kvalitativa intervjuer med gymnasielärare som undervisar i svenska inom yrkes- respektive studieförberedande program.
