Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att åskådliggöra hur SAS Sverige AB:s turnaroundarbete i en hyperkonkurrens samt hur bolaget försökt återskapa lönsamhet med nya strategiska verktyg. För att kunna svara på vår frågeställning utgick vi från en branschanalys för att förklara orsakerna till att ett behov av turnaround uppstod. För att sedan analysera turnaroundarbetet användes klassiska teorier inom turnaround management. Den framtida nya strategin analyserades sedan utifrån Blue Ocean Strategy. Slutsatsen på rapporten konstaterar att den höga kostnadsbilden inom SAS bidrog till att krisen blev så omfattande.

 The purpose with my study was primarily to illuminate the students' expectations on gained knowledge during their studies at the upper secondary school Hotel- and Restaurant program, and to what extent these expectations were fulfilled. Secondarily, the purpose was to compare the students' expected and perceived knowledge with the program goals set by the Swedish government and the knowledge requirements expressed in a pilot study made by the Education council of the Hotel and restaurant business (UHR, 2007).I chose a quantative approach and I used an anonymous group enquiry among students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program at two different upper secondary schools to carry out my study.Tendencies in the result suggested that the students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program expected high knowledge level within the competence areas of Guest reception and communication, Cleaning and hygiene, Cooking of cold and hot dishes and Waiting. The expectations were not big within the areas Computers and Internet and Business economics and management.Fulfillment of expected knowledge tended to be high within the areas where the expectations were big. It might therefore be a good investment for schools to work on the student expectations to increase motivation within the low expectation areas.A confrontation of the tendencies in the result with the program goals and the competence requirements expressed in the UHR study, suggested that the upper secondary Hotel- and Restaurant education might focus some more the areas of Guest reception and communication, Beverages and Organization of banquets. Business economics and management should be given much more weight..

Namely, to improve the material management so that this enables the bottleneck in the planing mill to keep a continuous  flow, and thereby minimizing the risk for production stops at LB-Hus.  Part.  1:  Identify  and  analyze the material management  connected to  the planing mill  in order to identify problem areas.Part.2:  Identify  improvement potential  in the material management connected to the planing mill.  Part.3: Suggest improvements in the material management connected to the planing mill. Theoretical framework: Process mapping, inventory accounting, balance safety, inventory availability / service levels, safety stock and reorder point, forecasting and routine descriptions.Empirical foundation:  Interviews carried out at LB-House,  illustrated with the help of process maps and a description of each process.  Conclusions:  To work with  the  suggestions  given  and  to  follow  clear procedures  in  all  processes would  result in  a more  efficient  inventory management,  it would also present  a  solution  to  the problem regarding the planing mill being a bottle neck.Suggestions for further research: Review and map the information flow from demand to production start.

Aim: The purpose of this paper is to see if there has been a change over time in the performance and in the spoken word of the Swedish cooking programs. By testing the theory of intimization on the cooking programs I get the opportunity to see if the border between the private and the public have become clearer or more difficult to notice, and if the new language, the informal language as intimization entails, has been used in Swedish cooking programs since the 70s until today, or if there´s ever been a formal language in Swedish programs? Method/Material: I'm using a rhetorical approach that includes a three-step analysis. Analysing the context, means to persuade and performance. The empirical material I intend to analyze is Swedish cooking programs from the 70s until today, 2010.

Vi har en grundad teori som utgångspunkt för studien. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod och har intervjuat fem onoterade banker, tre revisorer och Finansinspektionen. Lämpligheten med lagbegränsad IFRS för onoterade finansiella företag kan ifrågasättas på flera punkter men trots det tycker bankerna att de klarar av att tillämpa reglerna..

A change in capital structure means a change in the cost of capital for a company and by that a change in the value for the stockholder. Vårt syfte är att undersöka om gott chefskap passar in på teorins definitioner av ledarskap eller management eller en kombination av de båda.Uppsatsen är av kartläggande och hypotesskapande karaktär och en kvalitativ metod har använts för att insamla, studera och analysera data. Primärdatan består av intervjuer med vd/ledare och ledda på fem större företag verksamma i Sverige samt sex intervjuer med rekryteringskonsulter som enligt vår definition tillhör experternas perspektiv. Primärdatan innefattar även tre intervjuer med inom ämnet verksamma forskare och docenter på Ekonomihögskolan vid Lunds universitet. Sekundärdatan utgörs av vetenskapliga artiklar samt litteratur som behandlar ämnet ledarskap och management.Utredningen visar en klar övervikt för de egenskaper som teorin karaktäriserar som ledarskap. I sju av tio fall nämner respondenterna ledarskapsegenskaper, och bara i tre av tio fall anger de att någon som leder och ansvarar för verksamheter bör ägna sig åt uppgifter som tillhör management.
