Uppsatsens grundläggande syftet är att förklara förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion. För att uppnå detta syfte har förutsättningar utifrån teori delats upp i tre olika dimensioner: institutionella, ekonomiska och sociokulturella. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har varit vägledande för att empiriskt identifiera förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion mellan Sverige och Norge. Det är förklaringen av ett visst fenomen ? gränshinder ? i relation till gränsöverskridande verksamhet som eftersträvas. Förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion begränsas av brist på institutionella, ekonomiska och sociokulturella förutsättningar.

Entrepreneurship as playing a important role for economic growth has been discussed by a number of theorists such as Joseph Schumpeter and Israel M. Kirzner. William J. Baumol developed these theories as he considered that all entrepreneurship doesn?t lead to economic growth, some entrepreneurial activities may even lead to stagnation.

The concepts of environmental scanning and Business Intelligence have gained increased interest over the last years in a number of different organisational contexts. The research in this field has mainly been dealing with methods and issues regarding organisation but the aim of environmental scanning, the forming of new perspectives, has been largely ignored. The purpose of this thesis is to study how Swedish joint-stock banks put environmental scanning and Business Intelligence into practice. First a literature study is made to create a background and to explain the different conceptions. Then I describe the different functions of the different services in Swedish joint-stock banks.

In this essay we investigate how alltommat.se developed its service concept. Further, we look at how this development has influenced and been influenced by relations among the three actors and the users.

Background: As a result of the financial markets ever ongoing product innovation a new derivative was introduced in the USA in 1997. A derivative that derived it's value, not from the price of an underlying asset, but instead from a climate factor. It's been known for a long time that revenue in certain industries are affected by weather conditions. The suppliers of weather derivatives claim that these weather sensitive businesses can user weather derivatives in order to lessen weather risk. Dairy farms have during a long time been under pressure and this situation was aggravated during the spring and summer of 2009, when profitability declined to historically low levels. Lower milk price and relatively high input prices have caused Swedish dairy farms great liquidity concerns and profitability problems. For a long time, Denmark has been identified as a leading country for the agrarian development with a leading structural rationalization and willingness to grow. In 2009, it was shown that the Danish agriculture, which is generally more leveraged, has difficulties in maintaining profitability and when market price of land started to fall, the proportion of technically insolvent agricultural enterprises rose dramatically. In light of this prevailing situation, this study highlights differences between Denmark and Sweden with the hope to learn from each other.

Problem: Antalet kvinnor som drabbas av bröstcancer ökar för varje år. Många av kvinnorna har familj och befinner sig mitt i livet. Familjen är oftast de som står kvinnan närmast och går därför också igenom en svår tid. Stort fokus läggs på patienten och ofta glöms familjen bort.                                                                                                         Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa upplevelser av att ha en familjemedlem med bröstcancer.                                                                                      Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie där 16 vetenskapliga artiklar samlades in och granskades.                                                                                               Resultat och konklusion: Resultatet visar att familjen upplevde chock, rädsla, oro och ilska över cancerdiagnosen.

The purpose of this essay is to describe and analyze experiences of how the daily rounds and a persons role is changing when you go from being a family member to being a family member as well as being a kinship carer.Essential questions at issue was:- Which feelings are associated to the roll as kinship carer?- What are the motivations for the relative/family member to become a kinship carer?- What is the change of the role like before and after the disease.Six persons have been interviewed on the subject and symbolic interactionism and role theory has been our theoretical perspective. The essay has been related to the ideas of Meads on social interaction and to Goffmans theatre theorem.The result of the essay showed that feelings and motivations as regards to the daily rounds and the role of the kinship carer were individual, where similarities and differences occurred. When ones partner, parent or child got a disease/functional disability it generated in some changes regarding their daily rounds and it led to altering of roles. To assume a role was a natural result and often happened when a relative/family member got a disease or an injury..

Urininkontinens är ett av våra stora folkhälsoproblem. Kvinnor drabbas oftare än män, men efter 75-års ålder är det ungefär lika vanligt hos båda könen. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur mäns upplevelser av att leva med urininkontinens belystes i litteraturen. Metoden var en litteraturstudie som baserades på tio vetenskapliga artiklar, både kvalitativa och kvantitativa. Under bearbetningen av artiklarna framträdde olika teman som slutligen resulterade i tre övergripande rubriker.
