This essay which is an event study aims to examine if an announcement of a CEO exchange actually is course-affecting information. The essay study?s if a variation can be detected in the share price in relation to an announcement of a CEO exchange. The study also aims to examine if the characteristics; age, number of years at the post, and compensation to the CEO effects the share price progress. The study embraces 46 companies from eight different line of business.

Två av de stora debatterna inom skolvärlden hösten 2012 rör nationella prov och dokumentation; provens likvärdiga bedömning ifrågasätts i en rapport från Skolinspektionen, och lärare och dess fackföreningar uttrycker missnöje med mängden administration i skolan. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka betydelser som några svensklärare på gymnasiet tillmäter nationella prov utifrån aspekter som likvärdig bedömning och Skolverkets mål att proven ska vara ett stöd i att konkretisera styrdokumenten. Nästa steg är att analysera resultatet utifrån teorier om att skolan allt mer präglas av ökad dokumentation och företagisering. Undersökningen bestod av separata intervjuer av tre gymnasielärare i svenska på tre olika gymnasieskolor. Intervjuerna spelades in och transkriberades sedan.

I stort sett alla hushåll och företag använder sig av sopor och vi är beroende att det sköts på ett korrekt sätt. Avfallshantering i Östra Skaraborg rapporterar idag in avvikelser på ungefär var tionde soptömning vilket förhindrar effektiviteten. Denna studie handlar om att analysera dessa rapporter för att kunna effektivisera sophantering och på så vis minska antalet avvikelser. Med Business Intelligence (BI) har det skapats en relationsdatabas för att kunna lagra intern och extern data på ett ställe och utföra analyser på dessa. En stor del i studien är extrahering, transformering och inladdning (ETL) där fokuset legat på transformeringen för att få så bra datakvalité som möjligt.

Vi vill med denna uppsats klarlägga om chefernas agerande har någon betydelse för i vilken omfattning deras medarbetare blir långtidssjukskrivna. För att få en ökad förståelse för sambandet undersöker vi även närmaste chefens arbetssituation. Vi har valt att titta på vad andra skrivit i ämnet och på så sätt uppfylla vårt syfte. Det är många som skrivit om ledarskapets påverkan på sjukskrivningar, men det finns ingen jämförelse emellan de olika uppsatserna/utredningarna. Det vi gjort är att jämföra och leta eventuella mönster i de källor vi valt ut. De källor vi valt att använda oss av är både studentuppsatser och utredningar från fackförbund samt statliga institut.

This thesis has enlightened how consumer behavior is when buying clothes via the Internet and the problems and difficulties that could face the companies. This study was conducted through interviews with people that have bought clothes through the Internet, traditional catalogues and real stores. The conclusions showed that the Internet is as suitable as traditional catalogues for buying clothes. Another dimension were put to the aspect of availability to a virtual mall in the design of the catalogues. Finally, it is in the best of the e-business companies interest to study how e-catalogues should be structured and designed for the consumers..

Empirical material has been collected through semi-structured interviews with all the divisional managers. An extensive analysis of literature and research connected to Talent Management and tools for retention and development has formed the basis of the theoretical framework.Result and Conclusion: The conclusions we have drawn from this study is that to succeed with Talent Management, and the strategies that are in place to retain and develop employees, there must be an integral and comprehensive approach where business strategy and vision also permeates personnel strategy.

One way to create a B2B-network is for independent businesses to form a organization promoting co-operation. For co-operation to be successful it requires well thought-out actions, but a lack of how these actions are implemented have been noticed. This study explores how encouragement of co-operation can be done practically.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken affärsmodell som born globals använder vid internationalisering och vilka faktorer som påverkar valet av modell. Studien har använt sig av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod och har genomförts som en fallstudie. Vidare utgörs studien av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Studien kommer fram till att born globals vid internationalisering har en affärsmodell som a?r freemium och att det resursbaserade synsättet samt bransch är viktiga bakomliggande faktorer till valet av affärsmodell. Faktorerna globalisering och entrepenören har mindre direkt påverkan medan nätverk endast har en begränsad påverkan i valet av affärsmodell för born globals vid internationalisering. .

The elderly care is an area of great importance to women. Women are more often in need of elderly care; they work with the service and provide a majority of the informal service. Research shows that managers? work-related prerequisites are significantly different between the male dominated technical administration and the female dominated care and educational administration. Studies also show that what the highest managerial organisation gives priority to, often permeate the whole organisation.

This is a qualitative case study that aims to examine the small entrepreneur?s choice of financing solutions and their thoughts on various forms of financing. The authors have chosen to specifically examine entrepreneurs who do not have experience that stretches more than three years in entrepreneurship and the restaurant business. The study used three different companies in the restaurant business in Stockholm and semi-structured interviews were conducted with all owners of the company, corresponding to a total of six respondents. The study's findings show the relationship of entrepreneurs who believe that the experience of the industry and entrepreneurship is valuable also are more prone to giving away some ownership in exchange for a certain expertise and funding..

This thesis has focused on digital born personal archives; how they are different from analog paper archives and possible ways to overbridge these differences. It is also studied how archivists and librarians are dealing with digital archives, what they think about new proactive solutions when collecting private papers and collections and positive and negative effects with this way to work. The thesis is delimitated to only private collections and digital created material. It do not concern digitized material or electronic documents in government or business organizations.The challenges in digital curation and administration are discussed in aspect of the Records Continuum Model. The empirical material is also put in relation to research in Personal Information Management and identity theory.

When discussing local development attention is often given to the problems involved. Factors like decreasing population and inadequate infrastructure are two examples. Local politics has, however, lately been argued to have possibilities to affect its own development and its chances to achieve growth. Some of the most important factors from this debate are to make a community attractive for people and companies, committed leadership, the local business world with entrepreneurialism and a good business climate. These factors serve as a starting point for this discussion where focus is on the possibilities to achieve growth on the local level and the politics that is used for this purpose.To illustrate the chances to affect local growth I apply the theoretical perspective of regime theory and thereby examine the governing coalitions "power to" govern and not "power over" as the earlier theoretical perspectives in the area.
