This examination paper is the account for the author?s work while arranging and registrating the business archives and business records of the Herman Bergman?s Foundry in Stockholm, Sweden. It is part of the one year Masters program in Archival Science at the University of Uppsala. The records are from the beginning of the 1900s to the 1970s. Most of the business archives are from he 1940s to the 1950s.

Bakgrund: En åtgärd för att effektivisera stödfunktioner i organisationer är att etableraoch använda sig av så kallade SSC. Det innebär att spridda stödfunktionerna flyttas tillett separat och ansvarigt bolag inom koncernen. Där redovisarna arbetar på SSC medancontrollers arbetar ute i organisationen. Det är vanligt förekommande attarbetsfördelningen aldrig når fullt ut mellan redovisarna och controllers, vilket harpåvisats på det studerade företaget.Syfte: Det övergripande syftet för studien är att öka kunskapen om hurarbetsförhållandet kan organiseras mellan redovisare och controllers när yrkesrollernautvecklas och förändras i en global organisation.Metod: Studien innefattar en fallstudie av en globalorganisation inom detaljhandel.Datainsamling för studien har skett genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer ochföretagsdokumentation.Slutsatser: I studien har det påvisats att bolagsansvarig (redovisaren) har en specialistochkonsulteranderoll, som hanterar redovisning och utför viss transaktionshantering.Business navigators (controllers) har en affärsparterroll och ?navigerar? verksamheter.En rad problemområden samt åtgärder för arbetsfördelningen har identifierats och ärpresenterade i tabell 14.

Vi har i denna kvalitativa studie med induktiv ansats genomfört två fallstudier med syfte attstudera skillnaderna mellan den funktionella eller formaliserade definitionen av controllern frånden praktiska och handlingsorienterade definitionen. Samtidigt studerade vi skillnaderna mellancontrollerns syn på sin egen roll och controllerns kollegors syn på dess roll. Analysen hargenomförts med hjälp av en teoretisk referensram som vi byggt upp utifrån två kategorier sompåverkar controllerns roll, interna samt externa faktorer. Det vi kommit fram till visar att detfinns tydliga skillnader mellan den funktionella eller formaliserade definitionen från denpraktiska och handlingsorienterade definitionen. Vidare resultat som framkommit genom vårstudie är att controllern idag närmar sig ledningen och de klassiska arbetsuppgifterna tas allt meröver av datorer och ekonomisystem, vilket är den största skillnaden som framkommit från denfunktionella definitionen som litteraturen ger oss.

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to study how the hotel chain Radisson SAS works with prolonged customer relations with their business clients, with other words the clients that have business agreements with them.Methods: This study will contain an inductive approach and qualitative methods. The qualitative research method is in the shape of a deep interview with the sales manager of Radisson SAS and qualitative interviews of chosen business clients to the hotel.Results: The results of this investigation show that business clients are controlled by what kind of agreements their company has.The companies sign agreements with hotels and hotel chains that are able to satisfy big parts of their needs, if not all of them.With the help of flexible solutions, a well known brand, and good relations, Radisson SAS has made sure that their business clients have prolonged their agreements.They are a global hotel chain near transports, and business clients feel secure with Radisson SAS..

This thesis aims to develop a control system for measuring electromagnetic compability (EMC). This has meant that a controller designed around an ATmega8 microcontroller has been manufactured and programmed. It has also meant the development of a comprehensive control software in the program MATLAB. The control system has been tested with satisfactory results and can now, monitor and control measurements of the EMC-type..

Utgångspunkt är teorier om budgeteringens syfte och dess roll i kommuner, olika kommunala budgeteringssystem i allmänhet och behovsbudgetering i synnerhet samt betydelsen av väktar- och förkämperollerna i budgetprocessen.

In this paper we have examined why seniors do not use e-business to the same extent as other age groups. Seniors belong to the age group that, according to statistics from Statistics Sweden (SCB) in 2011, utilizes e-business the least in relation to the number who use the internet. To understand how seniors reason and perceive the possibility to shop on the internet, we have conducted four interviews with people from 65 years and older. We have let the respondents answer questions regarding utility aspects, e-business interfaces, general shopping habits, risks, and whether or not they usually shop online. We also found out how seniors reason when they sell products and services.

When valuing newly-started businesses, surrounded by high uncertainty, and whose capital mostly consists of unrealized business opportunities, the Discounted Cash Flow-model needs to be complemented if the total value of the business is to be captured. A valuation with the help of real options is capable of valuing these unrealized opportunities, which often exist in newly-started businesses. The unrealized opportunities are to be found in the business plan of the business, why this needs to be valued to capture the total value of a newly-started business. The idea for the thesis ?Construction and implementation of a mobile prototype; The Lovebomb? originates from doctoral candidates Rebecca Hansson and Tobias Skog from PLAY Research Group at the Interactive Institute in Gothenburg. The object of the master thesis is to construct two working LoveBomb prototypes, one mother console belonging to the LoveBomb and blueprints for both. The LoveBomb (the picture to the right shows a possible design) is intended to encourage people to express themselves emotionally when situated amongst strangers in public spaces.
