The ability for companies to anticipate the future and stay in the forefront of the competition is essential for successful business. The tool of Environmental Scanning is basics in the process of developing prescriptive strategies as well as vital in evolving emergent strategies. The complexity lies in gathering relevant information and transforming the information into adequate data, which can be utilised by management to optimise strategies. The purpose of this study is to scrutinise how successfully operating Swedish manufacturing companies, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange?s ?Large Cap?-list, organise their Environmental Scanning actions and how this affects the development of strategies. Prior research on the subject has been used as foundation to presenting relevant theories.

Aim: The aim for this study of Swedish daily press is to see how the musical reporting is structured for the newspapers I have chosen to analyse. My main purpose is to investigate how the newspapers reporting are distributed between artists who belong to either a major record company or an independent record company. With this research I want to find out if there are any economic backgrounds to the content and if the reporting is equal to the market production.Method/Material: For this study I have studied, by quantitative research, every piece of musical reporting in seven daily newspapers for two weeks. Through thorough research I have determined the belonging of every article?s record company.

Genom att göra det lade vi den empiriska grunden för den analys vi därefter genomförde via kultur- och ledarskapsteorier vi fann i litteraturstudien. Slutsatser: Vår slutsats är att ledaren som levt och verkat i företagskulturen har stor betydelse för företagskulturbevarande vid företagsexpansioner, då denne vet vad företaget vill förmedla till de nyanställda. The purpose of this study is to investigate the forest managers view of the edu-cation at the School for Forest management at SLU and the first years of em-ployment. Surveys were sent to batches 05/08, 06/09 and 07/10 a total of 136 question-naires were sent out. 80 people answered the survey, this gives a response rate of 59 percent The former students rated according to a 9-grade scale how satisfied they were with the different courses they had attended during their years as students at the school. The courses in mathematics and statistics got the highest marks with an average of 7.3, while the entry-level course in law only got an average of 4.6. A major part of the former students had in the questionnaire enquired a leader-ship course and a business course with focus on negotiation techniques during their education. There is a wide variety of employment opportunities for the graduated students. Timber buyers and forest managers or planners are just a few positions that for-mer students now possess. The study shows that there is a big difference in the first introduction to a new work place depending on where the student got hired.

Problem formulation: Recent results from the European Food Information Council?s consumer research on nutrition information and food labelling revealed that most consumers have little understanding of the nutrition information found on food products, feel that there is little authority regulating these matters and wish for a more trusted source of information and regulation and lastly it was found that consumers accept their limitations and have little motivation to even read or learn about nutrition information. Thus what are the reactions of the various legal authorities to this problem? How are food retailers and producers responding to the needs of the consumer? How are consumers then reacting to these two players in the industry and the changes they are making?Purpose: The purpose of this research is to gain new perspective and a better understanding of relationship between consumers, companies and legal instruments in relation to nutrition and health claim labelling of food products. Nordsken är en spelfestival vars mål är att visa upp spel- och nördhobbyn för allmänheten. Besökare erbjuds turneringar och prova-på i en mängd olika dator- samt bordsspel. Utöver spel bjuder Nordsken in olika föreningar, företag och föreläsare som berättar om och visar upp det bästa från spel- och nördhobbyn. Nordsken 2013 samlade 600 deltagare och drygt 1500 dagsbesökare under tre dagar för att spela spel och umgås med likasinnade.Som ansvariga för Nordskens nätverk hade vi som uppgift att sätta upp, konfigurera och övervaka nätverket under hela evenemanget samt agera support vid behov.Inför Nordsken gjordes en planering som innehöll genomgång av gammal dokumentation, inköp av server, hyra av switchar samt utplacering av dessa enheter i lokalen. Efter att vi skapat en logisk topologi för nätverket började vi konfigurera switcharna, accesspunkterna och servrarna.Nätverket delades upp i tre lager, core, distribution och access, där switcharna inom varje lager konfigurerades beroende på dess placering och koppling.
