The society of today is overflowed with information and commercials. There is a thick media noise that the marketers finds hard to penetrate. Bearing this in mind, we can see that Event Marketing, witch is marketing through events, has grown to be a popular form of communication as it has an ability to work its way through the existing media noise. Through events a company can strengthen its brand and image as well as form a lasting relationship with its consumers. What other functions does Event Marketing possess? In what context is Event Marketing an appropriate marketing strategy to use? These are two questions that we aim to answer through this essay.To be able to answer these questions we interviewed the marketing manager of two different companies, L´oréal and TeliaSonera.
Cause-Related Marketing: En kvalitativ studie i hur Cause-Related Marketing påverkar svenska konsumenter
Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) is a marketing activity that has grown popular in the USA and studies have been carried out that explore how American consumers perceive and react to CRM. In Sweden, however, CRM has not yet found ground to any greater extent, and therefore there is limited research on how Swedish consumers react to CRM and how they perceive it. In this study, eight Swedish consumers are interviewed regarding their perception of CRM. The main findings of the investigation are that Swedish consumers fit well into a model that is based on American consumers? responses to CRM.
Marknadsföring via sociala medier : Social Media Marketing
The thesis work focuses on marketing and its point of departure centers on mapping the utilization of social media as a form of marketing. The choice of this thesis subject has been deemed by the authors as one of particular interest due to the current popularity of social media in the Internet connected society and their use as marketing tools. Specifically, this thesis sets out to explore how companies exploit social media tools in marketing and how their use affects retail operations and customer relations in an effective and creative way.The report concentrates on qualitative data collection, the interview answers of four respondents, of which, two are considered experts within the field of social media. The choice of suitable respondents was strategic with the goal of covering as large a portion of the social media field as possible; one social media educator that works with companies and one who assists companies with social media applications. The remaining two respondents work in marketing and communications and employ, as part of their job, social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter.

Syfte: Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka vilka strategier för miljöarbete
tre olika logistikföretag i Blekinge använder sig av i samband med
lastbilstransporter, samt analysera och jämföra företagen sinsemellan i deras
strategiska miljöarbete.
Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning med hjälp av semistrukturerade
intervjuer för insamling av empiri. För övrigt har vi använt hemsidor från både
företag och myndigheter samt diverse litteratur. De företag vi undersökt har vi
valt utifrån storleken på företagens verksamhet. Detta för att se om det finns
några skillnader i det strategiska arbetet med miljöfrågor beroende på
företagets storlek.
Slutsats: Vår slutsats är att de tre undersökta företagen strategiskt arbetar
väldigt olika med miljöfrågor.
Bibliotekariestudenters attityd till marknadsföring på bibliotek
: This bachelor thesis explores library students? attitudes towards marketing in libraries. The aim is to find out if they are interested in working whit marketing questions in their future workplaces. To perform the study the author used a questionnaire survey and 48 students completed the survey. The answers where converted into present form and 10 charts were created to show the result.
Chefers syn på administration inom stadsbyggnadsförvaltning
Denna studie syftar till att beskriva chefers syn på administration inom stadsbyggnadsförvaltning och att identifiera förbättringsmöjligheter inom administrativt arbete. Studien bygger på fem individuella, kvalitativa intervjuer och en workshop. I studien deltar fyra enhetschefer och en avdelningschef från en stadsbyggnadsförvaltning i Sverige. Till detta tillkommer en litteraturdel som baseras på bilden av chefsarbete, chefsrollen i offentlig sektor och två förbättringsstrategier Lean och Sex Sigma. I workshopen används Sex Sigma´s fiskbensdiagram som verktyg.
Informanternas syn på administration är framförallt att den anses som nödvändig.
Implementeringen av miljöansvarsdirektivet i den svenska rätten : En europarättslig studie om förvaltningsförfarandet vid miljöskador utifrån principerna om god förvaltning och processuell autonomi
The aim of this thesis is to examine how the EU directive 2004/35/EC on environmental liability impacts the Swedish administrative legal order. The thesis examines the directive through two main EU principles - the principle of good administration and the principle of procedural autonomy. The EU principle of good administration as a concept contains various procedural and substantive obligations that make up the subject for examination of the directive, both as regulated in the directive and as general principles of EU law. The directive is analyzed using a comparative method to determine to what extent the procedural and substantive principles of the directive impacts the Swedish administrative law, and weather or not the Swedish regulations comply with the EU principle of good administration.The results of the study shows that, althought there?s a general principle of national procedural autonomy, the EU principles of good administration do affect the Swedish administrative regulation in various aspects, through the implementaion of the directive on environmental liability as well as general principles of EU law.

Event marketing has during the last decade become a wide spread marketing method. This is because the marketing clutter has increased heavily during the past years and brands are looking for new ways to reach their target audience. The previously well accepted marketing measurement "satisfaction" has shown tendencies no longer to be sufficient for success in today's competitive marketplace. Therefore, the research has somewhat moved to the measurement "brand love" to explain differences in strategic consumer behavior. That is the background to why this report examines and answers the question if a brand through event marketing can enhance brand love.
Intranät - en kunskapskälla i arbetet?
The ambition with this study is to look into and create an understanding for
how an intranet can work as a support system in work processes in capacity as a
source of knowledge. We want to enhance the understanding for which kind of
knowledge that can be coded in and transmitted by an intranet, and which that
is lost in this process. We also want to clarify what it takes to get this
knowledge, in collaboration with the intranet, to support the work in an
organization.
It is a qualitative case study at a Swedish bank. It consisted of semi
standardized, half structured interviews with five people in one of the bank?s
local offices.
Co-Creation - Synsätt inom marknadsföringslitteraturen
The creation of value is considered the core purpose and central process of economic exchange. Value creation is now conceptualized as shared by both producers and customers, and value is seen as fundamentally derived and determined in use, the integration and application of resources in a specific context, rather than in exchange, embedded in products and manifested as price. The field of research is abundant with publications but these do not fully further the understanding of value creation and co-creation in a way that is meaningful for theoretical development and decision making in business and marketing practise. Without a thorough understanding of the factors characterising value co-creation, the nature as well as content and locus of co-creation cannot be identified. In that case value co-creation easily becomes a concept without substance. Until now, individual publications on co-creation have focused on few or different aspects, have emphasized the process from either the customer?s or from the firm?s vantage point, have different theoretical approaches and have ignored the complexity in interactions between actors.The purpose of this essay is to analyse how five fundamental aspects of co-creation of customer value are perceived in contemporary marketing literature. Discussing the different views on co-creation, this essay concludes that thoughthere are evident points of agreement, finding one generally valid doctrine of predestination or value co-creation is improbable.
Fruits of knowledge : a literature review of marketing strategies and mango production in Kenya
This report is a literature review that aims to describe marketing contexts for mango production in Kenya. The institutional conditions in the country are not well developed for marketing purposes, which causes many difficulties and problems for the society. In Kenya most mango producers are poor small-scale farmers with limited resources. Mango is a perishable commodity and to keep its value and quality it is essential to have the opportunity to sell the mangos in the right time. Inefficient and undeveloped infrastructure and marketing systems hinders the mangos to reach the market in time though, which causes large losses of produce.The Kenyan mango production has increased during the last decade but due to market losses for the producer, the small-scale farmers? profits have not improved.
När tjejkvällen kom till byn. : En fallstudie av event marketing som ett intern- och externmarknadsföringsverktyg
En stor utmaning för ett säljföretag i dag är inte bara att identifiera och attrahera en specifik målgrupp. Det bör även skapa sig en bild av hur organisationen bör kommunicera med den presumtiva kunden för att skapa en stadig relation, som i sin tur kan borga för återköp. Situationen som uppstår då en försäljare för första gången interagerar med en kund kallas sanningens ögonblick. Det är vid detta ögonblick som grunden till en hållbar relation mellan säljare och kund förhoppningsvis läggs. Det är av högsta vikt för ett företag att försäljaren är införstådd i det beteende som företaget anser vara korrekt, och på så sätt återspeglar den attityd och kundbild som organisationen har för avsikt att förmedla gentemot kunden.
