The smartphone market is growing rapidly, between Google Play and App Store more than 25 billion apps have been downloaded since 2008. Today many companies develop their own smartphone applications (apps) for their customers. We believe that many apps are developed without much consideration about the actual value it brings to the customer, and through them, value for the company. Instead they create applications with hope of keeping the company modern. Developing and implementing apps in a business is neither easy nor free and must therefore add value to the business in some way.

Kommunikation inom e-handel : En undersökning ur konsumentperspektiv
AbstractDespite that e-business nowadays is established scepsis against it amongst consumers exists. We, as consumers, suppose that this skepticism is caused by bad communication from the e-business companies. This has lead to our suggestion that some con-sumers refrain from e-business because of bad communication or deficient trust.Our purpose with this paper was to investigate factors of communication between companies and consumers within e-business (B2C) from the consumers? point of view. We thereby have drawn conclusions regarding consumers? choice of e-business company.

Women who support themselves through self-employment are relatively low compared to men, in Sweden. Women make up around 30 percent of newly started enterprises. The Swedish government considers that the Swedish economical growth would increase if there were more companies. Through encouraging women to start enterprises to the same extent as men, Sweden can increase growth rate and create more employment. Despite all efforts being made, advances are not really reached.

Business valuation is something that has been more general and discussion around this subject is very common. The discussions often revolve the various principles and procedures that a business appraiser can apply when a valuation of a business should be done. When there are different evaluation methods there are also resulting in an assumption that there are not so easy to create a complete objective business value. The individual evaluator choice of method will determine the result of the business value. The global world for each business has been more uncertain and turbulent/changeable which have tended to exacerbate the work for the evaluator to determine a business value.

Syfte: Uppsatsen skall försöka ge en bild av hur företag resonerar när de gör
en IT-investering för att på så vis ta reda på varför beslutsprocessen ser ut
som den gör.
Metod: Studien är gjord med en kvalitativ ansats, studie har genomförts på
Tarkett Sverige AB i Ronneby. Vi har genomfört intervjuer med ekonomichef på
Tarkett Sverige AB i Ronneby.
Teori: De vanligaste metoderna för investeringsbedömning är nuvärdesmetoden,
internräntemetoden och paybackmetoden. Forskare anser dock att dessa metoder
inte är lämpliga att använda vid bedömning av IT ? investeringar då de inte är
gjorda för IT ? investeringars karaktäristiska egenskaper såsom nyttor som
uppstår sent och omfattande indirekta kostnader som kan vara väl dolda.
Slutsats: Studien visar att alla investeringar följer samma procedur och bedöms
med hjälp av samma modell, men att skillnaden ligger i vilken personal som
berörs av de olika investeringarna då det är den personal med mest expertis i
området som arbetar med investeringen..

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is partly to create an understanding of the
decision to establish a branch in Japan and especially to look at if and how
the Swedish company in this study has adjusted its corporate culture to suit
the Japanese market.
Method: Data is collected thru a number of semi constructed interviews. A
first telephone interview was followed by an interview made face to face that
was also followed up by interviews performed over telephone. E-mails have been
used to clear and correct collected data.
I have also studied company reports, closely related literature, articles and
papers on the Internet.
Conclusion: My conclusion is that the company in this study based the decision
to open a branch in Japan on the demand from one big customer and the potential
to grow globally.
E-handel - En studie kring utvecklingen av e-handeln i Sverige med inriktning på möbelbranschen.
Vår slutsats är att det krävs att produkten är standardiserad och att kunderna
känner till produkten för att företaget ska ha större chans att kunna sälja
sina produkter via Internet. Detta då kunderna inte är lika beroende av den
fysiska kontakten. Detta anser vi är anledningen till att endast ett fåtal
möbelföretag använder sig av e-handel. Detta då alla möbelföretags produkter
inte är standardiserade och kunderna inte känner till dem. Vilket innebär att
alla möbelföretags produkter inte lämpar sig för e-handel.

This is a market that a number of countries wish to access and the competition is fierce to get the chance to host major conferences. Stockholm has a pronounced good position in the international meeting market and this essay will examine what it takes to be a successful meeting destination for international congresses.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine the fundamental factors that must be met for a meeting destination to be successful in the international market for conventions.Question at issue: How can a city develop into a more attractive meeting destination for international congresses?Method: Persons with key positions in the Stockholm meeting industry have been approached by qualitative interviews by the authors.Theory: As a theoretical framework the authors used the value of the physical meeting, generally on the congresses, the planning process for site selection for the meeting, the meeting platform and image.Conclusion: The authors' findings are based on the empirical material gathered during the study interviews. Syfte: Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka vilka strategier för miljöarbete
tre olika logistikföretag i Blekinge använder sig av i samband med
lastbilstransporter, samt analysera och jämföra företagen sinsemellan i deras
strategiska miljöarbete.
Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning med hjälp av semistrukturerade
intervjuer för insamling av empiri. För övrigt har vi använt hemsidor från både
företag och myndigheter samt diverse litteratur. De företag vi undersökt har vi
valt utifrån storleken på företagens verksamhet. Detta för att se om det finns
några skillnader i det strategiska arbetet med miljöfrågor beroende på
företagets storlek.
Slutsats: Vår slutsats är att de tre undersökta företagen strategiskt arbetar
väldigt olika med miljöfrågor.

In today's changing environment, an increasing number of companies are realizing thebenefits of analyzing business information and thereby stay competitive. By making use ofdecision support systems, known as Business Intelligence (BI), organizations are expected tocollect and process business data and thus get more out of their business.Nowadays it is not enough for organizations to have access to corporate data inside officewalls, they must also be able to bring the information "on the go", which has been thefoundation for the progress of mobile BI solutions. As the mobility increases and thecorporate data leaves the office, new risks arise, which is one reason as to why manycompanies hesitate at the idea of introducing mobile BI solutions.In this paper we explore two security aspects in the area of mobile BI solutions. Our researchquestion is as follows: How does security aspects affect a company's decision to acquiremobile BI solutions? The survey was conducted through interviews in cooperation with thefirm Optivasys, exclusively dedicated to the BI solution QlikView.A significant part of the theory we studied describes security as critical; however, ourresearch suggests a solution on how companies can manage the security aspects.
