This paper is about the psychosocial work environment, and those factors that can be responsible for an employee?s sick leave. We have through our knowledge from working life, on several occasions experienced colleagues becoming ill, the cause being the psychosocial working environment. Private factors, for instance different kinds of life crisis like a divorce or uprooting, have contributed to the sick leave. The psychosocial working environment is complex.

The purpose of this research was to find how supervisors in the care of elderly experience their leadership in everyday work and their view on the factors which are important for their leadership. In the research a qualitative method has been used to do interviews with six supervisors and to do analysis of material. By the help of literature studies, I explained leadership. Result of the study indicate that leadership concerned supervisor should prepared to do the right thing in every situation and to find best solution of different situation that come up on the work. The way to do all this is important to create leadership.

AbstraktI´m too ashamed to show you är ett undersökande projekt som består dels av filmen Satisfaction (2011) och dels av uppsatsen Lucifer ? Ljusbringaren i rummet, om olika filmvisningskontexter. Projektet är en observation och analys av visningssammanhangets betydelse för filmmediet och hur man som besökare är med och konstruerar de rumsliga konventionerna för den rörliga bilden. Titeln Lucifer anspelar dels på ordets latinska innebörd (lucem ferre) som betyder ljusbringaren och dels på att Lucifer inom den kristna mytologin har identifierats med Satan. Bildskärmar eller projiceringar bringar ljus till rummet och Tv:n har också ofta liknats vid en lägereld.

According to science internal communication is a complicated, yet very important, issue of organizations today. An organization with a successful internal communication shows better results both economically and in terms of coworker satisfaction. The two main theories on communication are sensemaking and transmission. After a century with a transmissionary point of view, researchers stress the importance of sensemaking internal communication.Main question of this thesis is ?Which of the two main theories is the most useful when anchoring important messages in large organizations??According to the results of this study, conducted by interviews, neither one is more useful than the other.

Denna uppsats är en kvantitativ studie som haft som syfte att undersöka vad som bäst predicerar arbetstillfredsställelse. De variabler som har mätts som eventuella prediktorer är; sociometrisk status enligt sociometerteorin, socioekonomisk status, personlig känsla av makt samt personlighetsdraget extraversion. Urvalet bestod av (N=128) deltagare som alla var anställda av ett medelstort företag. Denna studie har utgått från en liknande studie The Local-Ladder Effect: Social Status and Subjective Well-Being (Anderson, Kraus, Galinsky & Keltner, 2012) som handlade om subjektivt välbefinnande och sociometrisk status. Arbetstillfredsställelse mättes enligt MSQ (Minnesota satisfaction questionnarie).

The overall purpose of this study has its starting point in theories about the consuming society and its advertising. I have examined what kinds of methods that are being used in TV-commercials for beauty products, to influence the consumers. To study advertising, a semiotic method, symbolic interactionism and other theories which discuss symbols and influences, have been used. Six different TV-commercials for beauty products have been examined.The results from this study indicate that the advertiser apply to feelings such as, happiness, a sense of satisfaction, status and success, to affect the consumers behaviour. The findings in this research are discussed in the light of different theories which deal with the significance and the meaning of symbols..

Studiens övergripande syfte är att belysa och gestalta det sociala stöd respektive sociala tryck personer sjukskrivna för utmattningsdepression anser sig uppleva från omgivningen, vad gäller både att vara sjukskriven och att återgå till arbete. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av kvalitativ metod, och sex personer som var sjukskrivna för utmattningsdepression intervjuades individuellt. Resultatet visar att de sjukskrivna upplever en komplex blandning av både press och stöd i processen att ta sig tillbaka till arbetslivet. Stödet, oftast i form av förståelse och undvikande av press, upplevs främst från personer i individens nära omgivning, medan pressen att återgå till arbete oftast relateras till personer och grupper på längre avstånd. Störst press att återgå till arbetet upplevdes från den "samhälleliga" normen "att göra rätt för sig", men även omgivningens okunskap och brist på förståelse upplevdes som en press. .

Bakgrund: Distriktssköterskearbetet är väldigt självständigt och mångsidigt. Distriktssköterskor möter patienter som lider av olika sjukdomar eller skador. De flesta kan inte klara de psykiska och fysiska påfrestningar och blir utbrända. Studier visar att med handledning kan tid för reflektion och bearbetning av bl. a stress möjliggöras vilket leder till mer trygghet och välbefinnande i yrkesrollen.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om det finns behov av omvårdnads-handledning för distriktssköterskor för att minska stress i deras arbete.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva erfarenheter av engagemang i dagliga aktiviteter hos kvinnor med utmattningssyndrom. En litteraturbaserad studie med analys av biografier genomfördes. Data samlades in via sex böcker, publicerade mellan 2000-2008 skrivna av svenska kvinnor i arbetsför ålder. Utifrån en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys analyserades data vilket resulterade i fyra kategorier: ?Att vilja leva upp till krav och förväntningar?, ?Att ha för många aktiviteter och för lite tid?, ?Vardagen har blivit övermäktig? samt ?Att återfå balans i vardagen?.

Att samtidigt göra en satsning på sin idrott och skolan ställer krav på individen. Dessa krav kan leda till idrottsrelaterad utbrändhet. Att hitta faktorer som påverkar idrottsrelaterad utbrändhet är viktigt för att kunna förebygga och förhindra problemet. Många olika faktorer har visat sig påverka och en faktor som behöver undersökas noggrannare är den sociala faktorn. En sådan social faktor är tränare- aktiv relationen.

Introduktion: HIV är en kronisk sjukdom vilken i Sverige uppskattas att 6 400människor lever med. Psykosociala symtom som rädsla och oro har visat sig vanligahos människor med HIV. Behandlingen för HIV är kostsam och har mångabiverkningar vilket leder till att den drabbade har ett livslångt behov av omvårdnad.Comfort theory assesment (CTA) är ett holistiskt förhållningssätt som hjälpersjuksköterskan att identifiera de omvårdnadsinterventioner som patienter är i behovav.Syfte: Litteraturstudiens syfte var var att belysa rädsla och dess ursprung hosmänniskor som lever med en HIVinfektion.Metod: En litteraturstudie har genomförts med hjälp av Polit och Becks (2012)niostegmetod. Databaserna PubMed och Cinahl har använts liksom frisökningar föratt finna de 11 artiklar som utgör resultatet av litteraturstudien. Artiklarna hargenomgått en urvalsprocess och granskats.Resultat: Två huvudkategorier har identifierats och redovisats: ?rädsla kopplad till detprivata och personliga? och ?rädsla kopplad till samhället? vilka redovisas medtillhörande underkategorier.Slutsats: Människor som lever med HIVinfektion upplever rädsla av olika ursprung.Rädsla upplevs i det egna hemmet såväl som i samhället.

This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. The thesis discusses what kind of emptiness that is described, what it does to me as a reader, and how it is connected to other works by Falkenland. Cultural politics of emotions by Sara Ahmed, Uses of literature by Rita Felski and Pouvoirs de l?horreur by Julia Kristeva together form the theoretical framework.Blodbok is a poetry collection, about the loss of a mother.

Today, a large proportion of wood supplied for the Swedish forest industry is bought from private forest owners while forest companies at the same time provide the forest owners with services such as logging services and transportation. Today, forest companies work extensively with keeping the time used for transport and logging short. But what does the private forest owners think about the time required for the timber deal, also called lead time, and the different parts of the timber deal. In this thesis, the forest owners? perception of the different lead times in their contracts with Stora Enso and their communication with the purchasers is examined.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the working method partnering has been welcomed in the Swedish construction company NCC and find possible explanations to this. The theoretical background used to understand and discuss our findings mainly builds on value and network dynamics. The empirical study is of a qualitative nature and builds upon 13 semi-structured interviews and the participation in a two-day start up workshop with 21 representatives from involved parties. The study shows that partnering has been positively accepted at NCC. Possible explanations for this can be found in the contrast the method represents to the traditional way of working within the construction industry.
