Is Försäkringskassan, one of Sweden?s largest organizations, an equal place to work in? Dosex, ethnical background or age matter when being treated by colleagues and managers?In this thesis I try to, through interviews with both the Human Resources-departement andsome administrators at Försäkringskassan, find the answers to how the organization?s internalwork regarding equality functions. To help me with the analysis I use both discourse theoryand gender theory. I find a discrepancy between the Human Resources-department?s and theadministrators? view of how the internal equality work is run.

Upplevelsen av anställningsrelationen under en outsourcingprocess

This study explores employees subjective experience of their employment relation before and during an outsourcing process and has its starting point in the concept of the psychological contract. Eight employees, in the process of being outsourced, were interviewed. The focus was on ?the employees? individual experiences and stories about the subjective and perceived employment relationship. Data were analyzed using basic qualitative analysis.

Uppgiftsfördelning inom arbetsmiljöområdet : En studie av delegeringen vid Örebro Läns Landsting

This essay describes how Örebro läns landsting operate concerning the delegation of work environment tasks in their organization. In the essay we review present law, with the focus on the delegation of work environment tasks. The purpose is to see if Örebro läns landsting are following the law in a correct way.Through interviews with people responsible for the work environment, and representatives for the workers in these questions, we could see how Örebro läns landsting were fulfilling there obligations in the role of employer. The result described how they were motivated and how they systematically worked with work environment issues. However, we could also see that the structure of the division of work environment tasks were inadequate.

Arbetsmiljöansvar vid uthyrning av arbetskraft kontra entreprenad

Bemanningsföretagen har sedan legaliseringen 1993 fått fäste på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Bemanningsbranschen innebär en förändring av det traditionella anställningsförhållandet som vanligtvis är tvåpartsrelation till att bli en trepartsrelation. Det har skapat viss problematik, då arbetsrättslig lagstiftning främst är anpassad efter den tvåpartsrelation som ännu anses vanligast. Den reglering som styr arbetsmiljöfrågor är främst Arbetsmiljölagen, vilken kom till då trepartsförhållande var främmande för den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Därmed väcktes frågan om vilken aktör som bär arbetsmiljöansvaret vid uthyrning av arbetskraft samt om arbetsmiljöansvaret skiljer sig vid anlitandet av entreprenad.Syftet blir därför att, genom den rättsdogmatiska metoden, utreda gällande rätt och därigenom få djupare förståelse för komplexiteten kring ämnet.

Synen på det egna ledarskapet : En jämförelse mellan ledare inom skola och vård

AbstractThis essay contains a comparison between principals and supervisors within the Health-care and is focused on their view regarding their own leadership. It contains a comparison between their respective models for leadership and how to evolve as a leader within these two organizations.The study is carried out as in dept interviews with four principals and four supervisors.The results show that the principals have a sufficient education and a broad network, but they need the opportunity to a personal development within their leadership. On the other hand, within the Health-care, the supervisors stand on a good base of education where focus lies on the personal development within the leadership. However, they need more opportunities to build up their networks.The conclusion that can be drawn is that these two organisations would gain on learning from each other, in order to establish as good conditions as possible to improve the leaderships within their own organization..

Postanställdas konstruktioner av arbetsmotivation: En jämförande studie mellan postsorterare, lagledare och brevbärare

In order to broaden the understanding of work motivation the aim of the study was to compare how three different teams within the same organization constructed motivation. The three teams consisted of post sorters, team leaders and mailmen. Three focus group interviews were conducted with three men and eight women. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and thematically analysed with QSR NUD*IST. The result showed both similarities and differences in the construction of work motivation in the three teams.

Upplevd arbetsmiljö : En kvalitativ studie om omsorgsgivares erfarenheter av ledningens och organisationens inverkan på deras arbetsmiljö

The aim of this essay was to describe and interpret the managements and organizations impact regarding the caregivers working conditions. To examine this we used a qualitative method. We completed two group interviews and five individual interviews with a total of fifteen enrolled nurses that worked within elderly care. In our interviews we found that the enrolled nurses felt that the organizations economic interests collided with their personal values regarding good quality elderly care. We also found that the caregivers experienced that they had an impact on their working conditions and that their employer was the main reason for making it possible..

Modernisering av GCM : Ett webbgränssnitt för hantering av artikelinformation

GCM is a product information management system which handles data for consumer packaged goods. GCM was developed during the middle of the nineties and was acquired by Prevas AB in 2004. The GCM application relies on the services provided by the organization GS1, which supplies global specifications and validations for trade items across several sectors. GCM is updated regularly due to the frequent changes in specifications from GS1. However, the overall graphical user interface design has not been redesigned during these years.This dissertation studies possible improvements for the webpage that handles product data in GCM.

SJUKSKÖTERSKEPROFESSIONENS IDENTIFIKATION : Medarbetarskap i professionella organisationer

Bakgrund: Människor tenderar att identifiera sig själva med olika sociala grupper, exempelvis utifrån professions- eller organisationstillhörighet. Individer inom samma sociala grupp formar ofta liknande normer och värderingar, vilket skapar en känsla av tillhörighet. I en professionell organisation tenderar medarbetare tillhörande en profession att identifiera sig med sin profession snarare än sin organisation, vilket i sin tur påverkar relationen mellan individ och organisation. Under de senaste åren har begreppet medarbetarskap blivit alltmer populärt på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Begreppet innefattar hur medarbetare hanterar relationen till sin arbetsgivare och till det egna arbetet.

Förutsättningar för virkesinriktad skogsodling med inhemska trädslag i Peru : en studie baserad på handelsstatistik för tropiskt timmer och fyra efterfrågade arters skötselkrav

Det finns arealer med degenererad skogsmark i tropikerna som kan vara en potential för att bedriva skogsodling och möta framtida efterfrågan av förnyelsebara resurser. Med detta kandidatarbete avsågs att undersöka globala avsättningsmöjligheter för tropiskt lövträvirke och identifiera ett antal inhemska lövträdslag lämpliga för skogsodling på tidigare avverkad och degenererad mark i Peru. Med data från International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) och Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) sammanställdes global produktion och export av tropiska lövträvaror. Därefter identifierades via en litteraturstudie ett bruttourval av kommersiellt gångbara och/eller vanliga inhemska lövträdslag lämpliga för skogsodling i Peru. Fyra av dessa trädslag valdes ut för en närmare beskrivning beträffande deras odlingsegenskaper. Den globala produktionen av tropiskat lövträvaror ökade med ca 21% under perioden 1995-2012, samtidigt minskade den globala exporten under perioden 1990-2012.

The methodology where created from observations of the currents working environment, analysis of order data as well as a comparison with two similar producing factories.

En Projektgrupps lärande

Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att bidra till en ökad förståelse för hur lärande sker inom en projektgrupp och vilka sociala och organisatoriska konsekvenser lärandet får för arbetet. Vi har sett att olika sorters lärande uppstår i olika situationer och dessa leder till varierande former av kunskap. Kunskap värderas olika beroende på de antaganden som styr organisationen och högre värderad kunskap tenderar att uppmärksammas mer än annan kunskap. Relationer är en förutsättning för lärande och hur dessa uppstår och förändras beror på tre faktorer vi sett; trygghet, status och tid. Dessa tre faktorer påverkar i sin tur arbetetsuppgifter och arbetsfördelning i gruppen på olika sätt..

Föräldraledighet som en kompetensutvecklande period i livet

The aim of the study was to examine whether parental leave can serve as capacitating period in life. More specifically our aim was to get a deeper comprehension of the abilities and competencies developed through parental leave and how these can be of use to the individual when at work. 12 semistructured interviews were conducted with employees from a large organization in the south of Sweden. The results were analyzed using a hermeneutic approach. The results of the study show that competencies and abilities such as effectiveness, organizing, multitasking, leader abilities, communication, sensitivity, limiting skills, mindfulness, acceptance, self-confidence and life balance were enhanced during parental leave.
