Background:Nurses can meet women who have been victims of abuse anywhere in the healthcare. Healthcare providers have a responsibility to these women, and it requires a broad range of skills to identify the women and thus be able to help them. It is important to see all patients as unique individuals and provide good care to maintain their specific needs. This paper was done to increase the understanding of nurses' experiences in the encounter with the battered woman.Aim:The aim of this study was to illustrate how nurses experience the encounter with the battered woman.Method:Literature review with both qualitative and quantitative studies. Nine articles were chosen to be read, reviewed and analyzed.Results:Three themes and ten subthemes appeared.

I denna litteraturstudie så belyser vi ett på senare tid större problem som finns både i skolan men även i hemmet, detta fenomen kallas för e-mobbning. Den traditionella mobbningen har funnits i åratal men gentemot teknikens utveckling så har även mobbningen utvecklats och sker nu även via datorer och mobiltelefoner. I denna studie så står skolans samt föräldrarnas handlande i centrum när det gäller att motverka e-mobbning, dessutom så undersöks det även hur delaktigheten samt utsatthet ser ut bland könen, hur ser fördelningen ut när det gäller just delaktighet och utsatthet. Vi har tagit del av ett flertal vetenskapliga studier där vi har fått våra svar ifrån. Det finns gott om olika sorters lösningar på hur man kan förminska e-mobbningen där det tydligt visar sig att elevens/barnets del är väldigt viktigt, att den säger till när det sker e-mobbning.

Pupils learn in different ways, varied teaching is needed to encourage all pupils. Aesthetic can be a good tool in this work and dance is one of the aesthetic subjects that can be used in the education. Dance gives the pupils an awareness of their bodies and what they can express through it. The essay discusses diffrent angel of incidence of dance in school and its positive effects and examines what kinds of dance there are in the schools of Vänersborg?s municipal.

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka vilka uppfattningar ett antal pedagoger har kring mobbning mellan flickor i förskolan. Med uppfattningar menar vi om pedagogerna i förskolan anser att det försiggår mobbning mellan flickor och om de har några erfarenheter kring ämnet. De data som vi använt oss av har varit tidigare forskning inom detta område. För att inhämta vår information har vi utfört intervjuer med sex pedagoger på två olika förskolor i Norrland.Informationen från våra intervjuer har sedan behandlats och analyserats. Resultatet av intervjuerna påvisade att de flesta pedagoger direkt eller indirekt medger att mobbning mellan flickor kan vara svårare att upptäcka än mellan pojkar, detta menar de beror på att flickors mobbning är mer subtil.

The Sweden Democrats uses a term to describe a situation where ?swedes? are being discriminated against by other ethnic groups and where the elite is promoting this. The term ?svenskfientlighet? can be translated as ?swedofobia? and in this thesis a speech by the party leader Jimmie Åkesson held during the election campaign that solely was dedicated to this term is being analyzed with the help of tools developed by the scholar Ruth Wodak. Ruth Wodak has previously analyzed the rhetoric by other European right-wing-populist parties like FPÖ in Austria and has asked for other researchers to analyze the speech used by right-wing-populist and extremist parties to get a better understanding for just how these parties construct their different enemies.

The honour-related violence and opression got more attention in the years 1999 and 2002, when two young women were murdered in the name of honour in Sweden. Honour-related violence is associated with a so called honour culture, which for many symbolize the oppression of a women. It is a fact that not only girls and women are victims of this culture but also many young men and boys are exposed. The aim of this study is to illustrate how individual social workers handle cases where boys and young men are exposed to violence and oppression on the basis of the theory of discretion. In this study a qualitative research strategy has been used which involves the implementation of semi-structured interviews in the collection of empirical data.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze IntimatePartner Violence (IPV). How does contemporary science illustrate men as victimsand women as perpetrators in these relationships? Ten articles were presentedand analyzed in a systematic literature study. The results show that men beingabused by their female intimate partner, do exist and that they in many ways doconform to abused women. There are many underlying causes to the violence inclose relationships.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how three Swedish news publications writes about integration and immigrants. The news articles were analyzed with a rhetorical analysis. The method was supplemented with theories of media and ethnicity, agenda setting theory and gatekeeping theory. This study resulted in the conclusion that racist discourses are found in the three news publications, regardless of political color, writer or article genre. Many of the articles makes a clear division of "us and them", where "them" is defined by the text's "us", who are often Swedes.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att beskriva förskollärares uppfattningar om mobbning bland barn i förskolan. Med uppfattningar menar vi vad förskollärare anser om förekommandet av mobbning bland barn i förskolan och vad de har för inställningar till det. De data som vi använt oss av har varit tidigare forskning inom detta område, förskolans styrdokument, lagstiftning, barnkonventionen och annan relevant litteratur som behandlar detta ämne. Inhämtande av information har gjorts genom enkäter och intervjuer med förskollärare på fem förskolor i en kommun i Norrbotten. Enkätundersökningen bestod av 50 enkäter och vi har intervjuat 5 förskollärare.

Intimate partner violence against women has gone from a concealed family affair to a public issue. The health care services are often those who first come in contact with abused women, despite this many women are not identified as victims of domestic violence. The purpose of this study was to describe nursing care of abused women and factors influencing the care. The study was conducted as a literature review where 18 articles were analyzed. The result showed the importance of the nurses? role in screening for abused women.

The study has used a critical discourse method formed by Teun a. van Dijk to analyse the material, mainly through macro- and microstructures.

Every year many individuals became sick listed, it could be for a long time, or a short time but irrespective there will beeffects on the individuals life and on the society. The aim of this study was to describe some relevant psychosocial relationships in the workplace that effect that women become sick listed. The method of the study was a literary study which was based on a number of scientific articles. The result of the study showed that many different factors effects the risk of becoming sick listed. Factors that causes sick leave where many and individual, but lack of social support, bullying, unstructured work environment and theworkplaces management, imbalance between demands and control and the women's situation were factors that had a big influence.

Young men who commit sexual abuse is a complex topic. This study is based on litterature on the subject and the material is processed through a qualitative content analysis. The study aims to study how the litterature describes the reasons why young men commit sexual abuse. It also aims to explore what is described to be effective treatment of young men who committed sexual abuse. The study found that most of the young men who commit sexual abuse comes from families where violence and psycohological abuse occurs. Many have themselves been victims of sexual abuse.
