The purpose of this paper is to analyze and map out the cyber culture of the Internet and its all users, identity, design theories and services. How people communicate and how they build up their identities are some of the baselines. I will also discuss the important aspects of Interaction design and how this can be used in a Community for digital storytelling. The Internet, or new media, was founded in the 60?s by some great philosophers (McLuhan, Rheingold, Lambert and more). With influence from their books I will discuss and analyze what kind of media the Internet is and how it can be seen as extensions to our senses, as McLuhan claims.

Humidity problems and poor ventilation are factors that we associate with poor indoor airquality which are known to negatively affect health. Such problems have decreased with timein Sweden but, in other countries this is still a major problem especially during winter. InChile, this is most common in the central regions of the country, especially the Strait ofMagellan. This issue is primarily due to surface condensation happening indoors which bringsabout dampness which facilitates the growth of fungus and stains, foul odors, metal corrosionand more. This is due to a combination of poor ventilation and insufficient forms of heatingalong with buildings which have no insulation.

The aim of this literature review was to suggest suitable index traits to use in the Swedish Sheep Recording Scheme for fertility and maternal traits. Since fertility and some of the maternal traits are not normally distributed advanced methodology is needed to calculate genetic parameters. Breeding is a tool to improve the economy of the farm and for the selection of breeders estimated breeding values (EBV) for important traits are of high value. In sheep breeding both lambs born and lambs weaned should be taken into consideration as well as the ewe?s maternal ability, which includes lambing ease, lamb survival, ewe behaviour as mother and the early growth of the lambs.

This thesis is about pricing of ice hockey tickets in Swedish ice hockey. Ice hockey is a large sport in Sweden, with clubs that more and more are acting like companies. These clubs tend to build new arenas that in many ways change basic variables.The thesis is an analytic thesis based on information about the clubs and interviews. The purpose is to study the basic variables for pricing of tickets in Swedish ice hockey. Furthermore the pricing itself and its connection to the new arenas are studied.The focus of the thesis is on the three clubs HV 71, Färjestads BK and Linköpings HC.

The purpose of this thesis was to study the importance of an artist?s personal brand from a record company and artist management perspective. We also aimed to investigate how these companies work to create and maintain an artist?s personal brand. The study conducted was a case study based on interviews with staff members of a major record company, Universal Music AB, and an artist management, United Stage Management Group AB.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how teachers view the way they build their relationships towards students, both in general and, more specifically, towards those students with some type of attention deficits. The focus of this thesis has been on how great an importance teachers place on this relationship. Especially when it comes to working with students with attention deficits. We also want to know to which extent this relational perspective is rooted in teachers' practice. The theoretical basis of this study is the relational perspective formulated by Aspelin and Persson (2011).

The aim of this study was to investigate nurse?s experience of working from the philosophy of palliative care in end of life at home. The study had a qualitative design. Semi-structured interviews were performed with nine nurses working in advanced palliative home care. The analysis of the material revealed four categories and two subcategories.

The aim with our study was to understand former addict´s experience of social networks from the Lewi Pethrus foundation (LP foundation) aftercare. The method we have used is qualitative semi-structured interviews. We have interviewed eight persons, four men and four women. They have all been in contact with the LP foundation and are today drug free. The result of the study has shown that the fellowship, in the different social networks have been very important to maintain a drug free life.

The aim of the following thesis is to examine if the ideology behind the copyright laws of today poses a threat to creativity and the cultural heritage. The organizations Association of American Publishers and Authors Guild are subject to an ideology- analysis which seeks to examine their ideological views on copyright and the possible threat to creativity such a view brings. The conflict between the two organizations and Google Book Search is used as a context where the ideology is being brought to light. Stanford Law School professor, Lawrence Lessigs work is used as theory and an alternative to the examined view on copyright. The result suggests that the organizations see copyright as the only effective incentive to creation and therefore they think stronger intellectual property laws are needed.

Denna studie undersöker äldre människors upplevelser av bemötande och delaktighet i samband med biståndsbeslut gällande hemtjänst. Våra resultat visar att personerna kände stort förtroende för biståndshandläggaren och var delaktiga i sin ansökan om hemtjänst utifrån deras synpunkter och önskemål. Personerna har tagit kontakt med biståndshandläggaren i det skede av livet som hjälp har varit nödvändigt för att klara vardagen i hemmet. Teorin som tillämpades var symboliskt kapital och är baserad på kulturella, sociala och ekonomiska kapital som ger status i samhället, beroende på sammanhanget..

Examensarbetet har handlat om hur man med produktdesign kan öka synligheten hos tjejer i åldrarna 18-25 år som rör sig i urbana, trafikerade miljöer under de mörka delarna av dygnet. Genom intervjuer, frågeformulär och litteraturstudie urskönjdes att målgruppen var väl medveten om nyttan med reflexanvändning men att detta trots allt inte var ett starkt nog motiv till att använda reflexer då existerande produkter ansågs löjliga, opraktiska och fula. Vad som huvudsakligen har bearbetats är mjuka värden såsom status och estetik samt yttre krav på ett optimerat reflexbärande. Resultatet är en väska som med sin multifunktionalitet och sobra estetik medger synlighet för brukaren. Det är en reflexprodukt som målgruppen kan identifiera sig med och bära vid många tillfällen..

När EU:s ramdirektiv för vatten (2000/60/EG) antogs 2000 fick medlemsstaterna ett ansvar att uppnå god ekologisk och kemisk status i alla vatten 2015 med vissa undantag. Vattendirektivet införlivades i Sverige genom förordningen om förvaltning av kvaliteten på vattenmiljön (2004:660) 2004, där det stod att det, för varje vattendistrikt, ska finnas en länsstyrelse som ska utgöra vattenmyndighet för distriktet. De fem vattenmyndigheterna har, på grund av föreskrifter i Miljöbalken och förordningen om förvaltningen av kvaliteten på vattenmiljön, utfärdat åtgärdsprogram. I åtgärdsprogrammen finns 7 punkter av 38 riktade åt kommuner, varav punkt 37 lyder: ?Kommunerna behöver, i samverkan med länsstyrelserna, utveckla vatten- och avloppsvattenplaner, särskilt i områden med vattenförekomster som inte uppnår, eller riskerar att inte uppnå, god ekologisk status, god kemisk status eller god kvantitativ status? Även om kommuner ska få stöd av länsstyrelser, vattenmyndigheter och Havs- och vattenmyndigheten när det gäller vattenfrågor har handledning och riktlinjer för att utforma kommunala vattenplaner inte funnits.

There is therefore necessary to find out how companies work to create trust between themselves and their customers.Purpose: The purpose of this report is to examine and explain how staffing companies work to build trust in their relationships with B2B clients through examination of the conceptual model, creating a theoretical contribution.Research question: How do recruiters at staffing companies work to create trust between themselves and the customer?Methodology: The study adopted a quality research method with a deductive approach where the focus wasg on describing and analyzing. The data was collected primarily through semi-­?structured interviews.Research findings: Through the study?s interviews and their results is it possible to see that staffing companies in Växjö is working with trust.

Detta arbete undersöker användningen av evolutionära algoritmer för framtagning och utvärdering av byggordningar i RTS-spel. Syftet var att undersöka om just evolutionära tekniker kan uppnå lika bra resultat som skriptade byggordningar då evolutionära tekniker oftast är billigare att utveckla.För att undersöka denna problemställning utvecklades en applikation med en experimentmiljö och en Artificiell Intelligens (AI) med evolutionär algoritm. Denna applikation och AI användes sedan för utvärdering av framtagna byggordningar.Resultatet antyder att evolutionära tekniker kan uppnå lika bra kvalitet som de skriptade byggordningarna.Något som krävs i detta arbete är fördefinierade skript för byggordningar för att köra evolutionen men något som skulle vara intressant att kolla på är coevolution. Med coevolution hade det varit möjligt evolvera fram byggordningar utan dessa färdiga skript genom att köra evolutionen mot individer i samma population..

Inbyggda system förekommer överallt i dagens samhälle i allt från mobiltelefoner tillsatelliter. Teknikens utveckling går mot att fler produkter kommunicerar värdefulladata till användaren och i takt med att komponenter minskar i storlek och pris, blirde allt lättare att implementera i redan befintliga produkter.Målet med det här projektet var att tillföra mervärde till ett redan befintligtproduktionsverktyg inom träindustrin. Genom att implementera ett inbyggt systemkan verktyget kommunicera en aktuell status till operatören för att förebyggaoväntade tillbud och optimera produktionsflödet.Resultatet av det här projektet tyder på att implementationen är fullt möjlig trots tuffamiljöer, men det återstår att utföra fullvärdiga test och utvärderingar ute på industrin..
