Guantanamofångarnas status - abstractSyftet med denna uppsats är att utreda Guantanamofångarnas juridiska status. Detta görs genom en diskussion av följande frågor:-Varför och på vilka grunder har USA fattat beslutet om att inte tillerkänna Guantanamo-fångarna krigsfångestatus? -Vad har fångarna för möjlighet att få sin status prövad? -Kan den uppkomna situationen ha någon inverkan på framtida internationell rätt? -Kan den uppkomna situationen påverka hur eventuellt tillfångatagna amerikaner i en framtida internationell väpnad konflikt blir behandlade? Svaren på dessa frågor har sökts genom litteraturstudier och inhämtande av information från internet. Faktablad och pressbriefings från Vita Huset och Försvarsdepartementet i USA har legat till grund för min analys av USA och Bush-administrationens argument. Dessa källor har kompletterats med kommenterande material författat av forskare från olika juridiska högskolor och universitet i USA. Uppsatsen visar att USA skiljer på fångar som är Talibanska soldater, samt fångar som är medlemmar i al-Qaeda.

Via Familjeliv.se och Facebook.se rekryterades åtta familjer till studien. Datamaterialet analyserades med Mann-Withney-u-test, Kruskal Wallis och Fischer?s exact test.

Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) is a common broadleaved species throughout Europe, however often of minor interest to the forest sector. There is currently a lack of research on sycamore maple, and some of its characteristics have throughout history contributed to a negative reputation in both literature and the forest society. Since broadleaved species in general are of great importance to the forest sector in Europe and presumably of enhanced significance in the future, deepened research is needed and particularly Swedish. With a desire to hopefully increase the interest for sycamore maple, was the objective of the study to examine the current status of the sycamore stands in southern Sweden. The study was carried out both as a survey with inventory field work and as a literature study. Parts of the latter mentioned is also presented in the introduction. The study shows that the majority of the sycamore stands in Sweden are growing well, producing fairly high qualities and volumes.

This report describes a thesis project on 15hp. The purpose of the thesis project is to build a laser projector that reacts on sound waves and thus get a laser beam to draw visualizations of sound waves on a wall. The idea was that the design would be independent and not have to be plugged into any audio equipment. This was achieved by absorbing sound waves into a microphone. Another factor was to get a ?do it yourself? -feeling of the design and therefore it was chosen to be constructed using for example, old hard-drives.The result was a relatively large and bulky designed laser projector that can draw sound waves on a wall..

The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic. Socioekonomisk status (SES) är ett begrepp som innefattar utbildningsnivå, yrkesstatus och inkomst (Statistikcentralen, i.d). Många olika faktorer såsom arv och miljö kan öka risken för att en person drabbas av ett alkoholberoende. Tidigare forskning är oense gällande sambandet mellan alkohol och SES.Syfte: Att kartlägga hur människor med olika socioekonomiska förutsättningar upplever sitt alkoholberoende och mötet med sjukvården.Metod: En explorativ design med kvalitativ forskningsansats som bygger på personers egna upplevelser och erfarenheter av fenomenet alkoholberoende.Resultat: Känsloliv och tillgänglighet var avgörande orsaker till att ett alkoholberoende utvecklades. Yrkeslivet kunde både bidra till ökad och minskad alkoholkonsumtion.

Uppsatsens syfte är att studera skillnader mellan kultur- och sportjournalistik för att kunna undersöka vad dessa skillnader har för grunder och betydelser för vår uppfattning om kultur och sport i samhället. Varför låter sport- och kulturjournalistik så olika? Vad har det för betydelse? Genom att detaljstudera två av Sveriges Radios nyhetsprogram, Kulturnytt och Radiosportens nyheter, görs skillnader mellan de två genrerna tydliga och konkreta. Skillnaderna analyseras utifrån begrepp som genre, hegemoni, dikotomi och uppdelningen mellan hög och låg samhällelig status. The purpose of the study was based on scientific literature to describe the quality of life of persons who have undergone a total hip replacement. The method was a descriptive literature review. The results showed that pain was the most obvious change after surgery. Mild pain before surgery was strongly associated with mild pain after surgery. But despite less pain were experienced early, it took 1 year to achieve the full benefits of improved physical function.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how social media affect the political orientation and commitment of youths. Three scientific questions highlight the purpose from different angles. The didactic perspective is discussed in the initial and closing discussion, and is analyzed in the corresponding chapter. Two methods are involved in the study; one survey and one interview with a focus group. The survey had a total of 98 respondents from four different classes, all in the first grade of upper secondary school.
