I mitt arbete vill jag visa på hur man med hjälp av reklamanalys kan uppnå läroplanens för kritiskt tänkande i gymnasieskolan, samt ge eleverna en möjlighet att utveckla en förmåga att kritiska granska media. Detta sker först genom en teoretisk ram och här utreder jag begreppet media literacy och genom att finna en definition på vad kritiskt tänkande är. Sedan lyfter jag fram två pedagogiska verktyg som kan användas i arbetet med att analysera reklam, semiotisk bildanalys och textanalys. Slutligen gör jag en analys av en reklamannons och gör pedagogiska och didaktiska kopplingar till analysen. Jag visar genom mitt arbete varför det är viktigt att odla kunskaper och förmåga att kritiskt granska medietexter, och vilka pedagogiska verktyg man som lärare kan rusta sig med..

The purpose of this thesis is to explore what possibilities Swedish public library has to work with and promote integration. The possibilities are examined on the basis of internal requirements of integration, the role of public library in the civil society and its policy documents. Further, the thesis examines what Swedish National library politics could contribute to this particular field. The experience of integration politics shows that a genuine commitment from all parts of the society is required in order to build an integrated society. The part of a society that public libraries are closest to and have the greatest impact on is undoubtedly the civil society.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera företaget ÅF:s employer branding-arbete, närmare bestämt samverkan mellan ledningen, HR-avdelningen och marknadsavdelningen.Uppsatsen är av kvalitativ fallstudiekaraktär ochämnar utveckla teori genom en kombination av en deduktiv och induktiv undersökningsansats. Insamlad data är baserad på intervjuer medrepresentanter på ÅF.Sammanfattningsvis har vi kommit fram till att ÅF:s samverkan inom employer branding-arbetet i stort överensstämmer med den teoretiska modell som presenteras. Det finns en huvudsakligen god samordning av ledningens, HR- och marknadsavdelningens samt employer brandmanagers aktiviteter som syftar till att stärka arbetsgivarvarumärket. Dock finner vi en diskrepans mellan ÅF:s och litteraturens definition av begreppet samt en allt för stor fokus på de externa aktiviteterna som en följd av employer brand managers starka band till marknadsavdelningen..

Should libraries first and foremost be a source of free informationwhere the citizens can find whatever information they want, or dothe librarians have a responsibility for what kind of works theypresent to people on their shelves? A wild debate broke out inSwedish media in September 2012, after the artistic leader ofKulturhuset in Stockholm; Behrang Miri decided to weed out allthe Tintin albums from the children´s library Tiotretton. Hewanted to start a debate on stereotypes in children´s fiction, andwhat damage they do to children who face them. The purpose ofthe thesis is to carry out a discourse analysis of this media debate,and to identify the different views that are expressed on thedemocratic mission of the libraries, what media they shouldpresent. The method and theory is based on the discourse theory ofErnesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe and their concepts are used toarrange the analysis around certain themes that build up twodifferent discourses; ?Freedom of information discourse? and the?Weeding out discourse?.The two main questions are: What views of the public librariesselection of works are expressed in the Tintin debate in Tiotretton,and how do the views relate to each other? What concepts arespecific for the debate, and what meanings do they get in thesedifferent views?In the concluding chapter I discuss which consequences theseopposing opinions can have for the future selection processes ofthe library..

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain what possibilities the new license between Youtube and Stim can have for Swedish artists and what impact this may have for the Swedish major record labels? competitive advantage. Based on this, the aim is also to describe how artists' position of power against major record labels may change due to the license.Method The essay is based on an inductive approach. The authors have used a qualitative research method to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon investigated. Primary sources have been collected using a variety of interviews from different parts of the Swedish music industry.Conclusion The Swedish major labels still hold a strong position today both when it comes to power balance and attractiveness.

The definition of an expectation gap is, when the local municipal politician and the audited apprehensions and expectations gets apart about what auditors are going to work with and what they are going to accomplish.Svenska Kommunförbundet writes in their publication Fullmäktige och revisionen (2004) that the communication between the auditors and the audited is important so the final result becomes great. Apart from the communication, the recurring information about auditing is important to increase the knowledge and understanding. Are there expectations on what the auditors are going to review and discover among the audited, when there probably are expectations from the inhabitants on the auditing. This leads us to our purpose of our essay which is to investigate and describe if there exist an expectation gap between the auditors and the social welfare boards in the primary municipality. The method we used to collect our data was a guided telephone interview with 66 persons.

Det du håller i dina händer är en kvalitativ studie över gymnasieelevers definition av begreppet ?en bra lärare?. Undersökningen, vars syfte är att ge en inblick i elevernas perspektiv på fenomenet och därmed öka kunskapen för verksamma lärare, bygger på 6 respondenters redogörelser av sin syn på ämnet. Respondenternas delgivelser har efter insamlandet analyserats med hjälp av IPA-metoden (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis), analyserats, tematiserats och slutligen syntetiserats i den text som utgör resultatet.Anledningen till ämnesvalet och dess inriktning bottnar i såväl ett eget intresse av att utreda saken närmare som att jag i mina efterforskningar inte har funnit någon forskning på området som tar upp just elevernas perspektiv.Resultatet slår för det första fast att lärares framtoning har en stor påverkan på elevernas studiemotivation (drivkraft) och ambition (målmedvetenhet). Vidare visar det på ett antal, enligt respondenterna, särskilt betydande drag hos en lärare, varav de flesta i varierande grad inverkar på elevernas attityd till och strävan i skolan och sina studier.

Detta är en studie av ungdomars syn på diskriminering. Syftet med vår undersökning är att undersöka vad ungdomar anser att diskriminering är. Tidigare forskning visar att diskrimineringsbegreppet kan vara svårt att definiera och att ungdomar inte har kunskap om begreppets fulla innebörd. Våra kvalitativa intervjuer med sex ungdomar visar att diskrimineringsbegreppet är svårt att definiera och att deras definition av diskriminering stämmer överens med delar av barn- och elevskyddslagen. Med hjälp av teorier om intersektionalitet kan vi se att ungdomarna inte har tillräckliga kunskaper om vad diskriminering är och detta medför att de inte vet sina eller andras rättigheter inför barn- och elevskyddslagen..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the problems of building a new region in the Southeast part of Sweden. The idea of a big south Swedish region is brand new; no former studies in this area have been done before. The main analytical focus of this study is legitimacy, identity and democratic credentials. The study has been carried out by interviews with several leaders in organizations working with the collaborations of the smaller regions in to the big region. The method of this study has been a single-case study and dialogue interviews.

Lifelong learning (LLL), a concept dating back to the 1920s, is much used both by the OECD, UNESCO and the EU. But while intergovernmental think-tanks and supranational organisations often use the term in a positive sense, many (not least scholars) are critical of the term. The critique either deals with the lack of a universal definition, that the implicit responsibility for LLL has shifted onto the individual, or that the meaning of the term has shifted from a humanistic one linked to the personal development and a better society to a neoliberal one that involves growth, competition, globalisation and human capital theory. This study is based on interviews with nine trade union representatives on their understandings of lifelong learning. The results showed that while LLL was positively viewed by most, there was virtually no communication vis-à-vis members on the topic, most trade unions have no policy regarding LLL, and responses from representatives were sometimes self-conflicting..

The following article consists of two parts; one part is about house construction and the other is a specialization about radon. The house construction part describes how to project a house from start. It contains the conformation of the house, the installations needed, calculations considering the strength of the construction, energy calculation and what materials were chosen. Calculations considering the costs of building and operate the house has been carried out. The result showed that the house would cost approximately two million Swedish kroner to build and thirteen thousand kronor a year to operate.

Med utgångspunkt i Micheal Southworths definition av walkability eller gångvänlighet (Trafikverkets översättning) har en avgränsad del av Kungens kurvas handelsområde studerats. Genom analyser av gångtrafikanters förutsättningar på platsen har området utvärderats. Analyserna visar att det finns förutsättningar för att gå inom det avgränsade området i Kungens kurva, men att det finns stora möjligheter till förbättringar. Det saknas en del kopplingar i gångnätet, genheten är otillräcklig på flera ställen orienterbarheten är låg och det saknas god tillgång till omgivande faktorer som skapar attraktivitet och trivsel.Samtidigt är nätets funktionella kvalitet generellt sett god och det finns närhet till service och kollektivtrafik.I arbetet presenteras fyra förbättringsförslag för att öka andelen gående inom Kungens kurva. The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyze how the mining equipment producers on a global market manage to handle the changing conditions concerning customer value. Our approach has been a comparative analysis between two different sites in order to answer the purpose. The case studies at Metso Mining have been made through interviews and visits at two geographical markets, South America and Scandinavia. The theoretical framework applied on our empirical findings is based on Blue Ocean Strategy, Customer Value and Resourced Based View. The empirical foundation is based on interviews with Metso Mining employees at Sorocaba in Brazil and Kiruna/Gällivare, Trelleborg and Staffanstorp in Sweden.

The aim with this Essay is to examine the two most read magazines in Sweden covering the areas of exercising, fitness, bodybuilding, diets and ?wellness? ?Fitness and Body. Fitness?s target group is predominantly woman, while Body is almost exclusively read by men. The analysis is first done quantitatively, by systematically categorising the contents of the magazines.

This paper is a qualitative study of the pedagogical conditions and the knowledge necessary for the creation and development of an education regarding leadership in the field of amateur theatre.The purpose of the study has been for participants to reflect and create knowledge about the creation and implementation of a course for leaders of amateur theatre.Questions raised in the study concern the students? previous experience of drama, theatre and leadership; their desire to become leaders of theatre; their own view of their need for knowledge for their future leadership; their understanding of the contents of the education and the theoretical perspectives upon which a course in theatre leadership can build. Finally, the participants? perceptions of difficulties and possibilities of working as theatre leaders were investigated.All 13 participants have answered a questionnaire regarding their previous experience of drama, theatre and leadership and also about why they want to become theatre leaders. The participants have also taken part in four focus conversations regarding what they think they learned, how they value the knowledge they gained and what knowledge they feel will be needed in a future leadership.The data has been analyzed hermeneutically to find patterns in the participants? perceptions of their learning.
