Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

In the year 1783 a fissure eruption from Laki in the southern part of Iceland produced a large amount of volcanic gases during a period of eight months. The volcanic gases and aerosols spread across the northern hem sphere due to ideal weather conditions and had a substantial impact on the environment, human health and also climate effects. This, so called dry fog, caused severe health problems, which led to death casualties, killing animals, crops and other vegetation. The consequence was a widespread famine which was aggravated by a hard and long winter in 1783/84. Analysis shows that the Icelandic volcanoes are the primary risk to produce dry fog that can affect Sweden.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studievar att beskriva pappor/partners kunskaper och känslor gällande amning samt hurde resonerar kring jämställdhet och delaktighet när det gäller amning. Metod: En kvalitativ studie där niohalvstrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes. Insamlad data analyserades med enfenomenologisk analysmetod utformad av Giorgi. Resultat: Tre huvudteman utkristalliserades under analysprocessen;Varje huvudtema byggde på ett antal centrala teman. Under huvudtemat Vilja att barnet ska ammas/få bröstmjölkbeskrevs, med hjälp av centrala teman, informanternas vilja att deras barnskulle ammas och/eller få bröstmjölk samt vad denna vilja grundade sig på.Vidare beskrevs under huvudtemat Amningensinverkan på pappor/medmammor, med hjälp av centrala teman, hur amningenpåverkat informanterna känslomässigt på olika sätt.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av interventioner för klienter med depression. I studien deltog åtta legitimerade arbetsterapeuter, inom öppen och slutenvård, som hade erfarenhet av interventioner i arbetet med klienter som lider av depression. Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med stöd av intervjuguide. Det insamlade materialet analyserades genom att använda en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och analysen resulterade i tre kategorier; strategier för att möjliggöra förändring, anpassning av aktivitet och grupp som terapeutiskt medel. I resultatet framkom vikten av att klienten fick lära sig nya strategier i syfte att lära sig känna igen risksituationer och påminnelsesignaler i miljön och på ett mer framgångsrikt sätt kunna hantera vardagen.

Opioider används ofta inom veterinärmedicinen för att lindra smärta hos djuren. Det finns fyra olika opioidreceptorer som opioiderna kan binda in till, my (?), delta (?), kappa (?) och opioidlik receptor-1 (ORL-1). Dessa receptorer har olika funktion och opioider har varierande affinitet och förmåga att binda in till dem. Bakgrund: Fördelarna med amning är välkända men trots det avbryter många svenska mödrar sin amning tidigare. Att avbryta amningen kan för en del mödrar vara problematisk och leda till skuldkänslor. Tidigare studier visar att brister i stödet ökar känslor av frustration, förvirring och tvivel hos mödrarna. Syfte: Att beskriva vilken erfarenhet distriktssköterskan inom barnhälsovården har av att stödja mödrar som valt att avbryta amningen. Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ ansats där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio distriktssköterskor.
