Approximately one third of all patients in primary care have a psychosocial component to their illness that requires adequate professional treatment. However, primary care is insufficiently prepared for these patients. The aim of this case-study was to evaluate a pilot project in primary care offering psychotherapy as a treatment alternative. The data collected includes 1) data from 352 referred patients regarding demographics, diagnosis, treatment duration and pre- and post health status, 2) a patient-satisfaction questionnaire and 3) interviews with six therapists and five medical doctors. The treated patients improved significantly and showed a high degree of satisfaction.

Med utgångspunkt från att det finns en antydan till en berättelse i datorspelet Final Fantasy IX argumenterar denna uppsats för att spelet innehar en narrativ struktur. Diskussionen förs genom att undersöka om vi kan uppfatta spelet som en text; om det är möjligt att applicera Gérard Genettes teorier om berättelsers hastighet samt om det är möjligt att urskilja en dubbel kronologi i spelet. Som teoretisk bakgrund används datorspelsforskning, textteori, narratologi samt termer hämtade från ny medieforskning, vars ändamål är att undersöka om vi kan utläsa en berättelse i Final Fantasy IX..

SyfteSyftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på vilka effekter, såväl positiva som negativa, fysisk aktivitet kan ha hos människor i rehabilitering. Följande frågeställningar användes:Vilken bakgrund har de olika smärttillstånden? Vilken form av fysisk aktivitet och vilken duration, frekvens och intensitet används? Hur påverkas personerna i fråga av den fysiska aktiviteten på smärttillståndet - positiva/negativa effekter?MetodStudien baseras på fem intervjuer med kvinnor i rehabilitering, i form av sjukgymnastik. Detta för att på bästa sätt kunna studera och belysa hur människor kan påverkas positivt eller negativt av fysisk aktivitet vid olika fysiska smärttillstånd. Svaren från intervjuerna har sedan sammanställts och jämförts med tidigare forskning och annan litteratur inom området.

In 2001 the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a revised global recommendation for exclusive breastfeeding for a child ´s first six months. The aim of this study was to investigate what information parents receiving from the Child Health Care about introduction of solids to breastfed infants and if they follow the recommendation. A further aim is to document reasons for introduction of solids at the selected time and describe what food parents start with.The method has a descriptive and a qualitative design. Users of several Swedish parenting websites were asked to participate in the study. A total of 27 users completed the anonymous open-ended questions posted on the websites.

Background:The sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) has always existed. In the early 1990's, researchers discovered that prone position was associated with a significantly higher risk for SIDS. This resulted in a lowered incidence of SIDS in the world. The campaign showed the value of risk knowledge and risk reducing methods, that's why new information campaigns about other risks regarding SIDS must occur.Aim:The aim was to describe the risk factors and preventive actions for SIDS, and the nurse's role regarding the preventive work. Method: A literature review based on 16 articles based on qualitative and quantitative studies.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether a L2 learner could correct or imitate structures of the language that they could not produce in written production defined by processability theori levels.The Informants had Arabic as their mother tongue. The study showed that the ability of correction developed slower than the capacity for imitation and the ability to written production. The ability of the correction developed by the duration of the stay. The result was a confirmation of theory formation in processability theory. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av amning och metoden som användes i litteraturstudien var deskriptiv. Upplevelserna i 17 studier kategoriserades i fem grupper; förutsättningar, motstridiga råd, svårigheter, positiva erfarenheter och samhällssyn. Att få motstridiga råd från sjukvården var den upplevelse som beskrevs oftast och de olika känslomässiga svårigheter kvinnorna upplevde i samband med amningen var en annan tydlig upplevelse. Kvinnorna upplevde också att de hade bristfällig kunskap om amning och dess fördelar. Amning sågs som något naturligt men förväntningarna stämde inte överens med upplevelsen.

We have examined how the dependence, identity and social bonds affect customer loyalty and attachment to a training centre. The method used is a survey on SATS Karlstad city where 128 respondents were asked, out of which 118 surveys were used in the final analysis. The data was analyzed using ANCOVA and multiple regressions.The result showed significant relationships on attachment between identity and dependence. Social bonds had no significant effect on the attachment a member have towards training centre. Customer loyalty was measured by how long the individual has been a member and his or her training frequency.

School can be an effective environment for achieving a more equal health among children and adolescents, since many individuals can be reached by the health promoting work in the school. In the year of 2000 a project in Skåne was started for the development of health promoting schools. The health promoting projects however, have shown to be of short duration. So, as an alternative, the integration of the health in school ought to be tried. The aim of this study is to give examples how health promoting schools can strengthen their profile.

Att få barn och bilda familj är en omvälvande händelse i en kvinnas liv. Blivande föräldrar har ofta en bild av att deras nyfödda barn skall ammas. Att amma är något en kvinna kan behöva lära sig och det kan gå olika lätt för olika kvinnor. I vårt arbete som neonatalsjuksköterskor hjälper vi mödrar med amning och det har väckt frågan hos oss om kvinnor upplever att de får det stöd vid amning som de behöver. Syftet med pilotstudien är att beskriva förstagångsmödrars upplevelse av stöd vid amning av sjuksköterskor på BB/egenvårdsavdelning och på BVC under barnets första 3 månader.

The aim of the study was to reach a deeper understanding and knowledge about how women with an experience of prostitution perceive what this has meant for them and how it has influenced their lives. The questions of the study were: (1) How has the prostitution experience affected the women in their lives? (2) How have they learnt to deal with this experience? To answer these questions a qualitative method was used where interviews were conducted with four women with experience of prostitution. All women experienced that the prostitution had affected their lives. Examples given that inter alia relationships, sexuality, and self-image had been affected.
