Därför är det viktigt att sjuksköterskan verkar stödjande för syskon och familjen som helhet och tillgodoser de behov som uppkommer i situationen. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva specifika behov hos syskon till cancersjuka barn. Metod: Studien utformades som en litteraturöversikt där tio artiklar med kvalitativ ansats inkluderades.

SAMMANFATTNINGÅr 2013 drabbades drygt 55 000 personer i Sverige av cancer. Behandling av cancer görs med kirurgi, strålbehandling, cytostatikabehandling, hormonbehandling och målsökande behandlingar. För att kunna utvärdera och utveckla de olika behandlingarna behövs kliniska studier. Innan en patient ingår i en klinisk studie krävs ett informerat samtycke som skrivs på av den ansvarige prövaren och patienten.Alla patienter har rätt till information och delaktighet avseende den egna vården och behandling. Det är därför viktigt att genom individuellt anpassad information förmedla kunskap, förståelse och insikt om hälsotillstånd, diagnos och metoder för undersökning och behandling.

The aim of this study was to examine what factors experienced psychotherapists emphasize as central and change developing in psychotherapy. The intention was to highlight the therapists' personal thoughts and experiences of psychotherapeutic change. By personal interviews with three cognitive and three psychodynamic psychotherapists, data was retrieved and then analysed with a qualitative phenomenological and hermeneutical approach. The study revealed great accordance between the psychotherapists regarding the importance of therapeutic relationship, factors connected to therapeutic treatment and flexibility regarding to the method of treatment. Moreover, it has been revealed that psychotherapeutic change in both treatments of psychotherapy is due to integration between emotional and cognitive processes.

Social workers in this study describes various experiences of the assessments of interventions for children and adolescents. Social workers experience of the many different situations where an assessment of best effort must be made on the basis of BBIC, which is the Social Services investigation records. Haemonchus contortus is the most important bloodsucking gastrointestinal nematode in small ruminants worldwide. It is often controlled by anthelmintics. Even though other methods to control are available, the most efficient way to treat an animal with clinically manifested haemonchosis is to use one of the available broad spectrum anthelmintics: benzimidazoles (BZ), macrocyclic lactones (ML) or imidothiazoles-tetrahydropyromidines or the narrow spectrum drugs salisylanilides or nitrophenols. Anthelmintic resistance (AR) against all groups of anthelmintics in nematode parasites has been reported from many countries, and even multiple AR has been observed. In this study I have investigated the resistance levels to all major classes of broad spectrum anthelmintics in a naturally infected flock of sheep of Red Maasai sheep (RM), Dorper sheep (D) and their offsprings on a research farm in Kenya.

Cancer är en vanligt förekommande sjukdom som beräknas drabba var tredje svensk person. Den som drabbas av svår sjukdom ställs inför utmaningar såväl kroppsliga och existentiella som etiska. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur kvinnor upplever sin kropp vid cancersjukdom. Litteratursökningen skedde i CINAHL och PubMed och genererade totalt 14 studier. Analysmetoden som användes var en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med ett inifrånperspektiv Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier; att känna att kroppens inre förändras, att leva med en främmande kropp, att förlora en del av sig själv, att inte kunna kontrollera eller lita på kroppen och att vara positiv till kroppen trots sjukdom.

AbstractThe aim of this literature review was to describe the quality of life in stoma patients after stomasurgery. Different combinations of the keywords ?stoma?, ?Quality of Life?, ?stomasurgery? were used when searching in the databases Medline, Cinahl, Academic Search Elite and PubMed. A total of nineteen articles were used in the result. Fifteen studies had comparing design and four studies had describing design.

A growing population together with a change in food habits to a more diverse diet containing more animal products such as meat and milk makes the possibility to produce and sell products of cattle a growing market. And at the same time there is an ongoing debate about global warming, where raising cattle is questioned due to their high production of enteric methane. To be able to raise animals in a more environmental friendly way and at the same time improve productivity in a developing country such as Vietnam would be favorable. The use of feed additives with high electron affinity could decrease the methane production and at the same time improve the gross energy digested. Nitrate and Sulfur are both good electron acceptors, but due to its toxic effects the use of nitrate in feed has been neglected.

Syfte med studie var att utifrån vetenskaplig litteratur beskriva distriktssköterskornas roll och upplevelse vid palliativ omvårdnad av patienter med cancer i hemmet. Design: beskrivande design. Metod: beskrivande litteraturstudie där tio vetenskapliga artiklar ingick i studien, materialet hämtat från databaserna Cinahl och Pub med. Artiklarna analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ granskningsmall. Resultat: Majoriteten av distriktssköterskorna tyckte att det var positivt att vårda cancerpatienter i hemmet.
