Denna uppsats behandlar det fenomen som uppstår när en, mer eller mindre isolerad, grupp religiöst hängivna människor, hamnar i en så pass allvarlig konflikt med staten och dess instutitioner att våldsamheter uppstår. Fenomenet brukar gå under beteckningen fanatiskt religiöst våld, och är i dess västerländska tappning mer eller mindre synonymt med sekter och sekterism.P.g.a. ämnets digra karaktär är en kraftig begränsning nödvändig för att kunna behandla ämnet i en C-uppsats. Jag har därför gjort valet att koncentrera mig på de två mest extrema och medialt uppmärksammade fallen av religiöst sektvåld. Då ett av syftena med uppsatsen är att undersöka orsakerna till hur och varför väpnade konflikter uppstår mellan stat och sekt har jag valt att utesluta de fall där enbart kollektivt själmord av och med sektmedlemmarna utförts, utan inblandning av staten.

Informationen om vad poppel producerar i praktiska planteringar i södra Sverige är begränsad. De data som finns kommer ofta från SLU och Skogforsks försöksytor. Försöksytor är mer omsorgsfullt skötta jämfört med praktiska planteringar. Finns alltså en risk för överdriven optimism om trädslagets produktion. Det behövs därför undersökningar som visar vad poppeln producerar i praktiska planteringar. Motiven för att plantera poppel är flera, bland annat kort omloppstid, hög tillväxt och ökande priser på energived.

The focus of this essay is set on a number of processes that affect the challenges of the tourist trade, to be more precise ? an analysis of the attitudes towards tourism and sustainability within this line of business ? from an ethical and moral as well as social view. These issues are examined with reference to the concept of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Thus, acquaintance with theories of social constructivism, post colonialism, globalisation and global civil society is essential in order to understand the analysed material. The essay is mainly based on the outcome of qualitative interviews with various kinds of persons working with CSR related questions.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the habits of borrowing books among third-grade pupils. My aim is also to study what significance their teacher and the librarian have on the pupils? borrowing habits. Based on the results from an experiment, two observations, interviews and by compiling a list of short summaries of literature relevant to my thesis. I wanted to compare earlier research with my own results and also reflect on remarks made by librarians and teachers concerning the children?s reading and use of the library.

Syfte: Att utifrån utvalda scenarios identifiera vilka möjliga effekter som användandet av OLAP kan leda till. Genom en diskussion om nyttan med OLAP, efter att ha presenterat de scenarios som uppkom efter fallstudien, ge läsaren en ökad förståelse över hur olika brancher kan dra nytta av OLAP i deras respektive områden och visa hur kraftfullt OLAP kan vara för organisationer och verksamheter.Forskningsfråga: Vilka möjliga effekter kan OLAP tillföra i en verksamhet?Metod: En kvalitativ metod kallad fallstudie antogs till denna studie då ett antal scenarios arbetades fram. Datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod.Teori: Kapitlet inleds med en förklaring till OLAP och dess komponenter. Här förklaras OLAP, datalager, data mining, datakvalité, datalagrets datastruktur, stjärnschema, samt snöflingeschema.Resultat: Ett antal scenarios arbetades fram med utgångspunkt från existerande verksamheter och samhällssektorer.

Idag används datortomografi med kontrastmedel (CTA) som primär undersökningsmetod vid efterkontroller av EVAR-behandlade patienter. Dessa patienter följs upp årligen under resten av deras liv. Ultraljud med kontrastmedel (CEUS) har de senaste åren undersökts som ett alternativ för att minska exponeringen av den joniserande strålningen och användning av njurtoxiskt kontrastmedel. Vårt syfte med denna litteraturstudie var att jämföra diagnostisk säkerhet samt att beskriva fördelar och nackdelar med undersökningsmetoderna ultraljud med kontrast och datortomografi med kontrast vid kontroller efter EVAR. Utifrån vårt syfte formulerade vi en frågeställning där 14 vetenskapliga artiklar ingår i litteraturstudien.

This study analyzes Hungary's democratic backsliding under Viktor Orb?ns term of office between 2010 and 2025. The research questions addressed in this study are ?Which central institutional reforms can be identified as significant for Hungary?s democratic backsliding under Viktor Orb?n?s rule from 2010 to 2025?? and ?In what ways have these reforms contributed to a process of democratic backsliding?? The study is based on a qualitative case method. To be able to conduct this study, secondary sources such as academic literature and reports from international organizations have been analyzed in detail.

The aim of the study was to compare productivity in first thinning of birch stands, when either energy- or pulpwood was harvested. The systems total profitability was also compared by including forwarding and chipping costs. A Gremo 950 HPVR harvester was used and the same driver was used under the entire study. During the pulpwood harvest a Logmax 4000b harvester head was used and a feller buncher head made by Silvatec was used during the energy wood harvest. Six study unit pairs were located in a birch dominated stand outside Ängelholm in Skåne.

Sedan sommaren 2008 bygger Svevia AB pendeltågstation i Kimstad. I samband med detta vill byalaget göra en stensättning och illustration av Motalaspännet för att uppmärksamma fyndet av spännet som gjordes på 1800-talet, i just Kimstad. Spännet, som är av guld och ädelstenar med en diameter på nästan 20 cm, tros vara från 1300-talet och har en något oviss historia om var det är gjort samt vem som kan ha burit spännet.Denna rapport och examensarbete syftar till att presentera ett illustrationsförslag av Motalaspännet där material, placering, grundläggning samt kvantiteter och pris redovisas. Utgångspunkten för arbetet var att diskussioner mellan författaren, byalaget och handledaren skulle föras vid framarbetningen av förslaget. Byalaget presenterade i startskedet ett eget illustrationsförslag.

To achieve peak performance as a young elite athlete, there are many psychological andphysical factors that have impact on human?s performance. Factors that affect theperformance interplay and interact must work to maintain ability to perform at its peak.The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that contribute to peak performance.Data collection method of the study has been done with a questionnaire, addressed toyoung elite athletes on a secondary school. It was 87 respondents who participated onvoluntary and anonymously conditions. The respondents consisted of men and womenbetween 16 and 19 years old.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, Swedish society has gone through a great change. Firstly with the personal computer and then with the internet moving in to everyday life, a new arena for interaction with society evolved. Work, education, doing bank errands and reading or discussing the news, just to name a few, now all take place in the virtual world online. Not to mention social media sites such as twitter, instagram or facebook, the last of which has over half of the Swedish population represented as members.   Companies, corporations, interest groups, political parties and politicians must be aware of the massive impact that a post spread through social media can have.    This thesis will, with the text analyzing tool, argumentation analysis, and on the theoretical platform of political communications theory, analyze three of the most viral Swedish political posts spread over 120 000 times each, to see if there are any combined qualities that point to the fact that there is a formula for getting a post to become a viral success on social media.    The main result showed that of the three posts analyzed, all were built up around a factual thesis, argued for with foremost example arguments, not only appealing to the logical branch of argumentation but also to the ethical, and that they tended to be of high relevance and sustainability. The conclusion must therefore be that these are all qualities that tend to be of relevance for making a political post on social media into a viral success..

This master of economics paper discuss that the globalization has lead to increasing internationalization among small Swedish IT- companies in the service sector. Sweden has a long history of foreign trade but in the beginning of the industrialization only large companies that produced goods answered for the foreign trade. Before, the Swedish companies begun their operations abroad in fairly nearby markets and only gradually penetrated far-flung countries. Now this is no longer possible. When small companies nowadays seek growth in other countries there is no time internationalize with the same approaches as before, especially when the company offers a service.

The aim of this master's thesis is to study how the design of the music library space affects how it is used and its role as an arena for culture. This is done in form of a case study of Library 10 in Helsinki, a public library branch that specializes in music and information technology. The backdrop to the study is the changing context for cultural activity in the information society and the role of public libraries as public space and meeting place. By analyzing the distribution of space in the library, the distribution of functions and artefacts and the spatial use of the room, I interpret the ways in which this distributional logic produces a unique place for music and culture. I discuss the music library design in a space and place perspective, utilizing theoretical tools from cultural geography and the space theories of Henri Lefebvre.
