En beskrivning av ett borgarhus i trä från 1700-talet, tillika grafisk verkstad för konstnärer. Huset Krogen Amerika i Linköping är ett av de äldsta trähusen som är bevarat på sin ursprungsplats. Det sätts här in i en historisk och socialhistorisk kontext. Syftet är framförallt att beskriva hur konstnärsföreningeen " Krogen Amerika- Grafikcentrum i Östergötland" bildades och flyttade in sin verksamhet i det gamla huset. Här ges också en förklarande teori om hur föreningslivets höjdpunkt, grafikens uppsving som konstform och rivningsvågen i Sverige under 1960-1970-talet sammanstrålade och gav upphov till att flertalet konstnärdrivna föreningar bidrog till att rädda äldre byggnader från rivning.

This essay is an analysis of a three-day participant observation with sensitive people in a house with entity continuity. The purpose was to investigate the possible experiences participants had during their stay. The method used was modified based theory with Jungian application. The investigation showed that the core category was a peculiar atmosphere which the participants related to a different world than the physical. The place? atmosphere influenced the participants and led to transcendent experiences related to a spirit realm.

The concentration of acute phase proteins in serum is altered as a response to inflammation, infection or trauma. this makes these proteins potential biomarkers of unspecific pathological processes. In cattle, haptoglobin and serum amyloid A are the two acute phase proteins that show the largest increase in serum concentration as a result of inflammatory processes. The haptoglobin concentration has been shown to correlate to clinical signs as well as inflammatory processes found at post mortem examination. This feature could be useful prognosis of the individual as well as for monitoring the health status of a herd or identifying carcasses that shold be examined closer at the slaughter-house.

Med anledning av JM:s satsning på Lean Construction, där företaget arbetar med att effektivisera verksamheten, syftar detta arbete till att identifiera frekvent försenade arbetsmoment och orsaker till detta. Arbetets datainsamling av olika typer av förseningar har avgränsats till nio tillhandahållna flerbostadsprojekt från olika delar av Sverige. Den data som har behandlats innefattar mötesprotokoll och tidsplaner som sedan låg till grund för de personliga intervjuer med arbetsledning för de olika projekten. Utifrån insamlad data och intervjuer genomfördes en enkätundersökning via Internet riktad till arbetschefer, platschefer och arbetsledare. In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of "Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future possibilities in this area. The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses", were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner. Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house technology could improve their work conditions. We have also been testing a highly sophisticated CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally developed for regulating indoor climate systems. Big dangerous Russia, environmental thief or house warmer? The Nord Stream pipelines are a highly debated theme in Europe and the EU. A number of different countries will be subject to the pipelines direct or indirect. This paper aims to figure out what kind of threats and possibilities Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Germany consider to be the consequences with the pipelines.The study takes as a standpoint the area of security studies and the widened of the same. The three standpoints within the security study that will be used are military security, environmental security and energy security.

The aim of this study is to analyse how female neopagan practitioners form their identitiesindividually as well as collectively. Using Ernesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s discourse theory and Anthony Giddens? descriptions of late modernity and self-identity, I intend toinvestigate my informants? construction and upholding of a meaningful identity and sense ofself. I will also look at how the neopagan movement can be viewed as a phenomenon closely interwoven with the overriding tendencies in our contemporary society. Neopaganism is an umbrella term that is used to describe a number of modern nature religions that take their inspiration from pre-Christian traditions.

I detta examensarbete har energiberäkningar och analyser enligt FEBY12 gjorts på ett radhusområde för att undersöka vad som krävs för att lågenergihusen ska uppnå passivhusstandard. Att uppföra energisnåla byggnader är i dagens samhälle viktigt för alla företag eftersom människor blir allt mer energimedveten och krav från beställare blir allt högre. I arbetet har en modell av radhusområdet modellerats i Revit Architecture för att på ett smidigt sätt få korrekta värden i de olika energiberäkningsprogrammen Vasari, Energihuskalkyl och PHPP. Programmen har helt olika kvalitéer därför har en jämförelse och analys av programmen utförts. Analyser har tydligt visat att det krav som finns för att uppnå passivhusstandard på värmeförlusttalet är betydligt svårare att uppnå än det krav som ställs på den levererade energin. För att uppnå passivhusstandard vidtogs diverse åtgärder såsom U-värde för väggar förbättrades, ventilationsaggregatets verkningsgrad höjdes samt fönsterpartierna reducerades avsevärt.  .

Purpose/Aim: The aim with my study is to reveal changes in the construction of gender in weekly press over time. Detta examensarbete är utfört mot Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC), på en produktionsenhet i Köping. SMC Köping, som tillverkar och levererar olika typer av gruvborrar till kunder över hela världen, har under en tid upplevt att deras lagerhantering inte fungerar optimalt med en osäkerhet kring lagersaldo och problem med att lokalisera artiklar. Ett väl fungerande arbetssätt på lagret är kritiskt för den interna och externa leveranssäkerheten, något som direkt påverkar företagets möjlighet till att konkurrera. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att genom en kartläggning av nuvarande lagerhantering vid SMC Köping analysera, utveckla och implementera förbättringsförslag för layout och hanteringen vid det befintliga lagret på ett sådant sätt att det säkerställer ett materialflöde till, i och ifrån lagret, med förbättrade interna och externa leveranser som resultat. För att göra examensarbetets syfte mer överskådligt och uppnåeligt har ett antal delmål formulerats, enligt följande: - Beskriva, för denna studie, relevant teori kring layout, arbetssätt och systemstöd för att författarna ska få en bild över hur detta behandlas i litteraturen.

In a condominium with two-apartment buildings, lies an area, formerly used as a playground, nowadays wasted and abandoned. The owner wanted to embellish the place and get a new use for it, preferably as a gathering- and feast-place. The work is described with focus on the construction with describing pictures and sketches. The production of the sketches is not reported more than that they are attached at the end of the paper. The practical work is done and documented.

In this paper the possibilities to replace metal with plastic in products for the building industry were looked into. The first part was a market examination where several suitable products were found. After evaluation the door latch for in-house doors was selected to be re-designed to better suit the properties of plastic.New types of mechanisms were designed with different functions that use the benefits of plastic materials. Models of these mechanisms were developed to evaluate their function. The components in the different mechanisms were adapted for manufacturing with injection moulding.To confirm that the plastic material could handle the appearing stresses calculations on the most vulnerable parts were carried out.

Swedens membership in the European Union have resulted in an international characterized labour market. The construction sector is the area who employs most posted workers among the 7400 employees who monthly enters the market. It?s also the sector where a big part of the work-related deaths occurs. The purpose of this study is therefore to contribute to a greater understanding of the regulation regarding posted workers, their work environment and the consequences of it.

This thesis treats Building Information Modeling, BIM, in the production stage. Brieflydescribed BIM is virtual model of a building object where all information about theobject is gathered. All the involved operators in the construction project have access tothe model and can gather or share information about the project. There are several waysto apply BIM in the production stage.
