In this investigation has an attempt to find out whether so called transplanting shock depends on the moving and transplanting of trees, to other conditions, or if it is due to the imbalance between the root to shoot ratio. Seventy trees of Prunus avium have been part of the investigation and these trees have been divided into four different groups depending on methods of production, untouched on the field, trees still on the field but with root pruning, trees moved and planted into Root-Control-Bag, trees moved and planted into Spring-rings. To be able to answer the question, measurements of the length of the terminal shoots and the lateral shoots and the dimension of the stem growth have been done and also has a visual judgment of the trees vitality been performed. The result shows that it is not only the move of the trees that gives them transplanting shock, but rather the loss of roots which gives an imbalance between the root and crown..

Denna uppsats handlar om hur artisterna Håkan Hellström och Ken Ring konstruerar diskurser kring maskuliniteten i sina musiktexter. Utifrån poststrukturalistiskt influerad teori kring feminism och maskulinitet görs en komparativ närläsning som bildar en tematiskt uppbyggd studie. Utifrån det för artisterna gemensamma temat utanförskap visar studien att utanförskapet hos Ken Ring är relaterat till en känsla av maktlöshet. Denna kompenserar Ken genom att konstruera maskulina diskurser med ett överdrivet anspråk på det som den europeiska kulturen förknippar med maskulinitet och genus. Detta kan kontrasteras mot Håkan Hellström som i sitt utanförskap konstruerar maskulina diskurser där ?omanlighet? och ett kärleks- och sexualitetsbegrepp där ?jaget? blir könsmässigt tvetydligt, står i fokus.

Heartwood has always been a desirable part of the tree, due to it?s superior decay qualities com-pared to the sapwood. How the formation of heartwood works has been known for a long time, but which factors that initiates and stimulates the production are poorly understood. This case study presents the results of a study in which silvicultural treatments and site properties had a key position as factors to the formation of heartwood. According to the hypothesis the amount of sapwood is directly controlled by the size of the crown.

The aim of this study is to elucidate factors that effect growth of Sarcina lutea and Bacillus subtilis, exposed to the growth inhibitor SDS (Sodiumdodecylsulfat). Agar diffusion experiments revealed repeated, concentric zones of inhibition and stimulation upon exposure to Sodiumdodecylsulphate or to Amoxicillin. This master's thesis is a study of how librarians are depicted in crime fiction. 12 American and English mysterynovels featuring librarians in a central role were studied and analysed using character theory. Recurring traitswere identified and organised into themes. The tribological contact between cylinder liner and piston ring is where an great amount of energy is lost due to friction, and by reducing these losses an reduction in fuel consumption can be achieved.The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the tested piston ring coatings against a plasma sprayed cylinder liner and rank these combinations of materials for friction and wear resistance. The coatings that were tested was Cr + Al2O3, (Al,Cr)N, two types of CrN and WC / C.The experimental tests were performed with a so-called pin-plate, where used oil with addition of an acidic mixture of sulfuric and nitric acid to mimic the acidic condensate formed when exhausts recirculate, were added with a continuous flow. The results were then analyzed by weighing, studies by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and profile measurements.The results from each material combination were that the plasma coated cylinder liner wears too aggressively in order to yield a ranking of the piston ring coatings based on the parameters of friction and wear resistance. It is therefore proposed that an alternative coating on the cylinder liner should be developed, lacking the large abrasive wear on piston rings and that can withstand the corrosive environment resulting in engines equipped with EGR.

The thesis answers four main questions:? Do the tags that the library users give fictional works correspond to the categories used in professional indexing in Sweden?? Do the tags follow the standards for vocabulary, semantics and syntax used when indexing professionally?? Do the tags add something to document representations?? Are there differences between the tags used for adult fiction and the tags used for children?s literature?With a starting point in indexing theories of Frederick W. Lancaster, Annelise Pejtersen, and the semiotic theory of the indexing process of Jens-Erik Mai, 383 tags from totally 70 fictional works are analyzed.

The thermal response of a borehole field is often described by non?dimensional response factors called gfunctions.The g?function was firstly generated as a numerical solution based on SBM (Superposition BoreholeModel). An analytical approach, the FLS (Finite Line Source), is also accepted for generating the g?function. I den försvarsdebatt som förts under 2013 och 2014 har det förekommit tydliga skillnader mellan den politiska och den militära nivån avseende syn på hur Försvarsmakten och de svenska luftstridskrafterna ska utvecklas.Varför finns det då denna skillnad? Eftersom det är en nu pågående process är det svårt att finna svaren då slutresultatet saknas. Istället söker denna uppsats förklaringen genom att jämföra skillnader och likheter i synsätt på luftstridskrafternas utveckling mellan den mili-tära och den politiska ledningen mellan 1948 och 1958, vilket omfattar en hel försvarsbe-slutsperiod. Analysen genomförs genom ett verktyg baserat på John Wardens 5-rings modell, applicerat på de svenska luftstridskrafterna, i syfte att identifiera mätbara variabler som se-dan jämförs utifrån den militära respektive den politiska synen.Undersökningen påvisar såväl skillnader som likheter i synsättet där skillnaderna i huvud-sak omfattar de stödjande delarna som till exempel infrastruktur som inte direkt ger militär effekt i duellsituationen vid ett militärt angrepp.Förklaringen till skillnader och likheter finns sannolikt i den maktkamp som enligt teorin na-turligt uppstår i en byråkratisk organisation som samtidigt ska vägas av mot den inre och den yttre strategin i det här fallet svensk säkerhetspolitik..

Kalvningsförlamning är en av de vanligaste sjukdomarna hos mjölkkor och orsakas av ett metaboliskt tillstånd hos kon som kallas klinisk hypokalcemi. När laktationen startar vid kalvning transporteras stora mängder kalcium till juvret och kalciumkoncentrationen sjunker drastiskt i blodet. Om kon inte kan kompensera för kalciumsänkningen kan inte nervsystemet och musklerna fungera som de ska vilket gör att kon blir förlamad och oförmögen till att resa sig upp. På grund av att det är en sjukdom med allvarliga symptom och som kan leda till stora ekonomiska konsekvenser för producenten är det viktigt att kunna förebygga sjukdomen. Syf-tet med det här arbetet är därför att ta reda på vad som orsakar kalvningsförlamning samt hur tillståndet kan förebyggas hos kon och vilka metoder som är vanligast.

Sjukvårdsrådgivningen via telefon är väl förankrat hos Sveriges befolkning då det varje år rings många samtal dit. Avsaknaden av visuell kontakt och den begränsade tillgången till problemet gör att triage och rådgivning försvåras. Telefonsjuksköterskan kan inte ta del av den icke verbala kommunikationen såsom exempelvis ansiktsuttryck, kroppshållning eller sjukdomstecken på kroppen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa faktorer som har betydelse för telefonsjuksköterskans triage och rådgivning i kontakt med den vårdsökande. I litteraturstudien som grund för resultatet har metoden varit att granska fjorton artiklar med kvalitativ ansats ur ett sjuksköterskeperspektiv.
