SammanfattningSyftet i föreliggande studie är att belysa HBTQ-individers upplevelser och bemötande inom motionsanläggningar och på vilket sätt detta får betydelse för upprätthållandet av fysisk hälsa och välmående.Hur upplever HBTQ-individer motionsanläggningars normer och hur påverkar heteronormativiteten om hur de uppfattas inom fysisk aktivitet och idrott?Vad influerar HBTQ-individers egna fysiska hälsa?Finns det specifika parametrar som påverkar HBTQ-individers användning av motionsanläggningar?MetodFör att kunna granska hur heteronormativiteten präglat motionsidrotten i samhället har queerteorin samt genusteorin dels använts som utgångspunkt för studien som helhet och dels som studiens teoretiska förståelseverktyg i databearbetningarna. För att besvara syftet och frågeställningarna genomfördes en kvalitativ intervjustudie där tio individer som klassificerade sig själva som HBTQ ingick. Varje enskild intervju spelades in och transkriberades. Det är individernas egna upplevelser som varit i fokus för undersökningens analyser och tolkningar och dessa bearbetningar utgör därmed studiens resultat.ResultatResultatet i studien visar att HBTQ-individer påverkas av de oskrivna heteronormativa ideal och normer som finns vid motionsanläggningar runt om i Stockholmsområdet.

Mitt kandidatarbete är ett undersökande och utmanande av unga kvinnors självbild i förhållande till upplevda krav och förväntningar, samt normativa föreställningar om hur en kvinna ska vara. Jag vill, genom konstnärlig/konsthantverklig gestaltning i materialen keramik och glas, lyfta fram och bejaka det otillåtna som ?inte får finnas? och låta det utgöra det vackra. Att inte vara till lags, inte rätta sig efter vad andra tycker utan öppna upp för att skapa sina egna ideal. Att våga ta den plats man vill ha; högljudd eller tyst, motbjudande eller attraktiv.

The aim of the present study was to estimate the correlation between Euro NCAP pedestrian rating scores and injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes, with special focus on long-term disability. The study also surveyed most frequently injured body regions and risk differences for specific elements of pedestrians hit by cars. Another aim was to determine whether Brake Assist systems affect the injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes and to estimate the effect in injury reduction of a high Euro NCAP ranking score combined with Brake Assist.In the current study, the Euro NCAP pedestrian scoring was compared with the real-life outcome in pedestrian crashes that occurred in Sweden 2003-2010. The real-life crash data was obtained from the data acquisition system STRADA, which combines police records and hospital admission data. The medical data consisted of International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) diagnoses and Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) scoring.

Acrylamide (AM) is a commonly used monomer in the manufacture of polyacrylamide. In addition, AM has been found in heated foods that are rich in starch. The main dietary sources in Sweden tend to be crisps, French fries, fried potatoes, crisp bread, cookies and coffee. Un-fortunately, dietary intake of AM has in several studies been shown to cause cancer in ro-dents. Consequently, the compound is currently regarded as a potential carcinogen in hu-mans.

Det här examensarbetet undersöker hur den engelska fotbollen påverkat den svenska fotbollen. Det utreds även om den svenska fotbollshistorien har skapat en diskurs som fortfarande lever kvar inom den svenska fotbollsjournalistiken. Fem avsnitt av det svenska TV-programmet Fotbollskanalen Europa har analyserats med hjälp av det teoretiska verktyget diskursanalys. Sammanfattningsvis visar forskningsresultaten att det råder en diskurs i Fotbollskanalen Europa. Diskursen har starka kopplingar till den engelska fotbollens påverkan på svensk fotboll.

Today the individual ventilated cage system (IVC-system) is the most commonly used system when housing rodents. IVC systems are designed to control both supply and exhausted air at cage level, as well as temperature and relative humidity in the cages. This creates an optimal environment for the mouse and at the same time a protection against the risk of cross-infection between cages and the outside environment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the health and welfare for two different strains of laboratory mice (NMRI nude mice and C57BL/6NCrl mice) in three different kinds of IVC-systems; Arrowmight, Allentown and Tecniplast. 108 mouse pups from each strain (in total 216 mice) were selected after weaning at an age of three weeks and tested during 5 weeks.

This report is about how accessibility in Eskilstuna's central trade street Kungsgatan can be improved, based on my background as spatial configuration designer, and by Eskilstuna's residents' opinions. In this report I explain what methods I have used, and how I attained my results. The goal of this project was to create ideal accessibility in the central part of Kungsgatan in Eskilstuna. Since Fristadstorget was rebuilt, and since the city is growing in terms of housing and residents, accessibility will in the near future be even more limited for visitors than it is today. This student report is about canine atopic dermatitis It includes a description of the immunologic mechanisms and how the reaction affects the body. The symptoms are various, most common is pruritus, erythema and alopecia and directly associated with the immunologic reaction. The diagnostic process includes symptoms, physical findings, differential diagnosis, intradermal test and serological test. The options of treatment are several and vary for each patient. The report includes hyposensitization, medical treatment such as corticosteroids, antihistamin and cyclosporine, topical treatment, fatty acid supplements and environmental treatment. The prognosis is individual for each patient due to their different response to the treatment. It may take a while to find the right combination of treatments to achieve satisfactory control of the disease..

The essential thing about breaks has been in relation to time, body, movement, force and room during my examination. Through conversations high-school students from two schools have taken part in this study. The examination is based on conversations with the students and has focused on students? experiences of breaks, and is also carried through by the method of phenomenology. The results of my studie show that students - during their breaks - experience a feeling of allways heading for something and also that time seem to exist in three levels: filled time, non-filled time and flow regarding of time.

My thesis deals with the novel Ladies, written in 2007 by the Swedish author Mara Lee. When published, it was received as a book belonging to the chick lit genre but still got good reviews. This combination is really unusual and awoke my interest in the novel. My thesis is therefore an analysis whether Ladies can be considered a chick lit novel or not, and in what way it is similar to or differs from the genre. I start my thesis with an overview of former research of chick lit and what earlier was called trivial literature.

Denna uppsats är ett resonerande argument kring massmedias roll i det demokratiska samhället.Vi diskuterar inledningsvis ett antal demokratiideal generellt, med syftet att ur dessa kunna identifiera ett gemensamt karaktärsdrag: att demokrati kräver politiskt medborgerligt engagemang. Detta karaktärsdrag används sedermera för att fälla ett normativt påstående kring massmedias roll och innehåll. Detta normativa påstående appliceras slutligen på tre stycken skilda demokratiska ideal med utgångspunkt i en specifik massmedial innehållstyp, personcentrering..

Studiens syfte är att utforska en musikers kroppsspråk vid instuderingen av en orkesterstämma. Detta har observerats under instuderingen av förstaflöjtstämman i fjärde satsen av Brahms andra symfoni. Studien har sin utgångspunkt i det designteoretiska perspektivet och har genomförts med hjälp av videoobservationer under repetitionsperioden av verket. Jag har även fört loggbok under processen av självobservationen. Resultatet av studien visar att de kroppsliga resurserna kan hjälpa, men också stjälpa, den musikaliska processen och dess uttryck.
