AbstractWorking with child and youth welfare is one of the most difficult challenges a social worker might face in the field of social work. Those who work with child and youth welfare are more exposed to stress and burnout than other comparable human service occupations. Research links the prevalence of stress and burnout to several key variables, such as demographics, working conditions and personality factors. In contrast, even though social workers in this field face many negative work-related problems they report a high job satisfaction. The aim of this study is to examine how uplifting and straining experiences affect social workers, who work with child and youth welfare, through the use of The Critical Incident Technique and interviews.

In my degree project I have chosen to write about the social interactions in children?s play. Iwanted to study their free play and the time when their teachers tell them what to play to seewhat their social interactions look like. The purpose with my research is to study whathappens in the social interactions in their different playing situations.I performed three observations of the free play and three observations of the guided play at apreschool to study what social interactions that takes place in the different playing situations.What happens and what patterns can I find in their play.In my research I had some questions that this project rests upon:What happens in the social interactions in the different playing situations?How do the children?s different social interactions look?The children that I have observed showed me that when they are interacting they especiallyuse their cognitive abilities, because an interaction needs a certain mental development.

The habits of living are seen as important factors for public health, and are related to the primary socialization. Exercise and food habits are two main factors for development of health or ill health and are both related to the overweight epidemic. The overweight increase among children and youth has been given particular attention. The aim of this study is to examine how 15 year olds Body Mass Index, food- and exercise habits are connected to each other and also how they are related to socialization. The study is a cross sectional survey among 208 pupils in ninth grade, Kristianstad.

SyfteSyftet med denna uppsats är att tydliggöra samt klarlägga hur artister och teamenkring dessa arbetar för att bygga och bibehålla starka relationer mellan fan och artist.Fortsättningsvis vill vi även öka förståelsen kring hur fansen uppfattar denna typ avarbete för att upprätthålla relationen.Utifrån syftet har vi utvecklat följande forskningsfråga;- Vad präglar artistens och dennes medarbetares arbete med relationerna gentemotfansen?MetodVi har i denna uppsats valt att arbeta utifrån en kvalitativ ansats för att kunna samla inrelevant information från olika perspektiv och för att få en djupare förståelse förämnet. Vi har intervjuat tio olika respondenter, både fans och inflytelserika personerinom musikbranschen. Dessa har genomförts face-to-face, via mail samt över Skype.Förutom intervjuerna har vi även analyserat litteratur, artiklar och onlinekällor.SlutsatserUppsatsen sammanfattas i ett avslutande kapitel bestående av våra slutliga tankar ochen kort sammanfattning av svaret till vår forskningsfråga. The main purpose of this work was to examine the information behavior of nonfiction publishing Company editors. Three problem areas were presented and expressed in the following questions:- What is the information need of the editor in every day work?- Which sources of information do the editors use when they are looking for information and how do they make use of them?- Are there any factors that have an influence on the information behavior of the editors and in what way do the factors effect the information behavior of the editors in their everyday work? And finally, do the editors experience any factors as barriers to information behavior?Six editors, all with academical background, all employed in different publishing companies were interviewed. The result of this study have been analysed within a theoretical framework influenced by the work of Tom Wilson, Lars Höglund and Olle Persson and Block and Lagberg. The result shows that the editors had various regular needs of information in their every day work.

The horse is a homeothermic animal and to keep a constant body temperature in winter season is important. Acclimatisation is to provide means for a good thermal insulation consisting of skin, hair, and an outer air layer. The skin covers the horses body and it is composed of three main layers where the top layer of the epidermis consists of dead keratinized cells that are constantly being sheed. The dermis is composed of collagen connective tissue that give the skin its strength. The bottom layer with subcutaneous fat provides a thermal insulation and can be used as an energy reserve in cold weather.

NGO:s and society request that companies take responsibility and actions toward a more sustainable business. Many investors analyze companies? sustainability regarding social and environmental issues when it comes to choosing a company to invest in.

One of today problem at IVT industries would be assembly of insulation on water cisterns. The element of assembly insulation on the cistern gets too elevated; hence one has to climb onto the stand the cistern is assembly on. This will increase the risk of work related injuries when there is a risk of falling down. It?s also rather strenuous on shoulders due to work with your arms high above your head.

Övervikt och fetma hos barn och ungdomar har blivit allt mer förekommande och prevalensen ökar dramatiskt över hela världen. Sedan raffinerade kolhydrater introducerades har även kariessjukdomen fått större utbredning. Då det finns gemensamma bakomliggande faktorer som påverkar både vikt och kariesprevalens vill vi i vår litteraturstudie undersöka om det finns något samband mellan body mass index (BMI) och kariesprevalens för barn och ungdomar. Efter sökningar i den medicinska databasen PubMed på artiklar från de senaste 5 åren fann vi oeniga resultat med jämn fördelning. Resultatet av litteraturstudien är att två av de undersökta studierna tyder på att det inte finns något samband mellan BMI och kariesprevalens, lika många anser att det finns en svag eller möjlig association, medan två studier ansåg att det fanns ett signifikant samband.

Studiens syfte var att öka förståelsen för och kunskapen om upplevelsen av att leva med Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). Fokus i upplevelsen låg på känslor och konsekvenser i livet men också för individen själv. Med konsekvenser för individen avsåg exempelvis konsekvenser för självuppfattningen, rädslor och framtidstron hos deltagaren. Den metod som användes i studien var semistrukturerad intervju vilken genomfördes via chattservicen MSN och via e-mail. Den initiala intervjun efterföljdes av ett antal uppföljningsintervjuer då nya intressanta aspekter fanns i den första intervjun.

This essay is about the burial rites in the passage graves of Falbygden, Västergötland. My questions were: Can the burial ritual be understood by comparing the material culture inside and outside the tombs? What kind of grave offerings did the dead have? Most peculiar are all these beads of amber, what kind of meaning did they have? Was the position of the body a part of the ritual? The time period is the middle Neolithic.I selected four passage graves to investigate: Hjälmars rör (Falköping 3), Rössberga (Valtorp 2), Näs sn 7:2 Kvättak 5:1 and Frälsegården (Gökhem 94).My conclusion was that there are differences between the material culture inside and outside the tombs. Outside the ritual includes fire, inside the material culture are not burned. The material culture outside is more dominant than the finds inside, although the beads of amber are only represented inside and dominates the findings inside.

Bakgrund: Röntgensjuksköterskor arbetar inom en högteknologisk miljö, där utvecklingen har gått snabbt. När röntgensjuksköterskans arbete övergick till digital arbetsmiljö och dataskärmsarbete, blev kommunikationen mellan radiologer och röntgensjuksköterskor hämmad och arbetsmiljön förändrades. Nya ansvarsområden tillkom och lämnade utrymme för fler självständiga arbetsuppgifter. Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete är att kartlägga vilka för- och nackdelar som den digitala kommunikationen har medfört för röntgensjuksköterskor och radiologer. Metod: En litteraturöversikt genomfördes via systematiska sökningar i databaserna Cinahl, PubMed och Scopus.

Myxomatous mitral valve disease is a common disease in older dogs of small- to medium-size breeds. The mitral valve, and less commonly the tricuspid valve may be affected which causes them to leak blood from the ventricle to the atrium of the heart during systole. With increasing severity of mitral valve leakage the forward stroke volume ejected into the aorta decreases, which may lead to an increase in blood pressure in the pulmonary vein resulting in pulmonary edema. A decrease in cardiac output may lead to a decrease in blood pressure, but the body may respond in order to normalize the blood pressure. Franzén showed in 2007 that the systolic blood pressure was increased in dogs with severe mitral insufficiency.
