This report is regarding an electrical installation of an alarm system on a post fishingboat called Andromeda. The background of the installation was an earlier andinadequate alarm system that led to a motor failure. The ship was taken out of serviceand was sold to Björn Magndahl who rebuilt it to a yacht.The project was conducted partly by developing the existing systems, partly bydocumenting the work by means of electrical blue prints. Except the alarm systems, aninstallation of the frequency control unit for the bow thruster was installed.The installation was working fine and the outcome of the documentation was handedover in a form of a binder during the test drive of the systems and the assignment wasapproved..

This bachelor thesis is based on interviews with staff from three Egyptian NGOs in Cairo during the spring of 2013. The study examines how three Egyptian NGOs discuss the woman?s situation within the Islamic legal discourse in the contemporary Egypt. The empiric material was analysed through a theoretical framework of gender in Islam, and a discussion of the concept of human rights laws in a local context.The respondents emphasize the societies gender stereotypes as obstacles in the discussion regarding women?s rights.

This is the result of a 10 week long study about if player behaviors and choices are affectedby the surrounding colors in their environment. A number of players are asked to movethrough a virtual environment, while being clocked, where they have to make left and rightdecisions based on different colors (red, green, blue and gray). While most choices consist oftwo different colors, some use the same color. The result shows that the players most likelyprefer one color over another, and that they most likely prefer a non-neutral color over aneutral color. With these results and the interviews that are conducted the conclusion is madethat it is very likely the players choices are affected by the colors in the environment, but it isnot clear to say how they are affected..

Kan kärleken övervinna religionen? Min frågeställning har varit: Kan blandäktenskap fungera trots de olika motsättningarna som finns mellan olika religioner och kulturer?Den metod jag har använt mig av är kvalitativ metod, främst fenomenografisk metod baserad på intervjuer. Själva tillvägagångssättet har skilt sig åt eftersom jag använt mig av olika typer av material såsom litteratur, Internet och heliga skrifter. Jag har också intervjuat personer som befinner sig i ett blandäktenskap/relation samt personer i ledande ställning i församlingarna. Jag har letat efter tidigare forskning i Högskolan i Gävles databaser, men mycket av mitt arbete har haft sin utgångspunkt i egen erfarenhet samt i en dokumentär som visades på SVT1 (Inte som min syster).Uppsatsen syftar till att ge en inblick i och belysa hur de två olika religionerna, kristendom och islam är uppbyggda samt ge en förklaring till olika begrepp som förknippas med blandäktenskap.

Youth culture and social problems associated with youth groups have existed for decades. We have chosen an explorative case study design to highlight young people's revolt against parents and society and how society has dealt with social problems of youth and how those were perceived. ?Raggare? were considered a major social problem in society. The material in the study comes from eight qualitative interviews and literature of previous research of the current youth culture.

Denna uppsats fördjupar förståelsen för intolerans mot personer med muslimsk kulturell och/eller religiös tillhörighet eller bakgrund, islamofobi, med hjälp av frågeställningen: Hur talar elever på transportprogrammet i årskurs två och tre på en gymnasieskola i Göteborg om muslimer? Undersökningen som genomförts är av kvalitativ karaktär och materialet har samlats in genom fokusgruppintervjuer där sammanlagt 16 elever deltagit fördelat på fyra grupper. Resultatet visar att eleverna saknar grundläggande kunskaper om islam och om muslimskt religiöst liv. Däremot har de kunskaper kring kulturella dimensioner av muslimsk kulturell och/eller religiös tillhörighet eller bakgrund. Vidare framkommer i resultatet att de intervjuade eleverna i sitt tal gör alla så kallade invandrare till muslimer.

A large part of the Iranian population resented the west, in particular USA and Great Britain, during the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979. The people were also resenting the adverse effects of the trumped up frame made in Iran. The last shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was detested by many in Iran for its west-oriented regime. The resentment among many Iranians is a consequence of the violations of e.g. the lack of political and civil rights, there were no existing legal security in the society, there were no economic distribution and the regime of Mohammad Reza Shah violated the human rights.The resolution from an Iranian perspective for riot is not new, during the last centuries the abomination against the despotic kings have been existing varyingly and big riots have been raised.  The Islamic revolution in 1979 was new because the revolution added adverse effects of west, the population detested west and expressed it by protesting through demonstration.  The significance of the revolution in 1979 was also attributable to Islam.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether the lower secondary school teaching in religion leads to a positive understanding and openness, concerning different religions and cultures. We want to study how pupils in grade eight and nine in two lower secondary schools in a multicultural community comprehend different religions. Since we choose a pupils perspective we decided to do a questionnaire to get a wide ground. As a complement we interviewed twelve pupils and also did observations during their religion classes. During our study we focused on three different themes.

The varieties of paint are today very big, but many of the more popular paints are less than environmental friendly. The uses of fossilized fuel in paints are common because these paints dry fast and are color true. It would be beneficial for the environment if more renewable source were used to produce paint. Linseed oil is an old base for oil paints. It is renewable and easily procured.

Islam är den näst största av världens religioner med 1,5 miljarder utövare och är även det trossamfund som växer snabbast. I och med en eskalerande invandring till västerlandet ökar behovet av kunskap kring den kulturella relationen till hälso- och sjukvård. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva upplevelsen av mötet med västerländsk hälso- och sjukvård hos personer med muslimsk bakgrund. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades genom kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys vilket resulterade i sex slutkategorier: Att vara obekväm med vårdare av motsatt kön: Att mötas av respektlöshet och kulturell okänslighet från sin vårdare: Att språkliga barriärer påverkar tillfredställelse med vård: Att vara frustrerad över sjukvårdens struktur och organisation: Att få vara den man är och känna tacksamhet över vården: Att göra allt för att passa in. Resultaten visar olika svårigheter främst kopplade till vårdarens kön samt kommunikation.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida det i praktiken råder religionsfrihet i Turkiet. Metoden som jag använt mig av är det kvalitativa fallstudiet. Intervjuer har skett med två företrädare från den kristna minoritetskyrkan i Turkiet. Fallstudiet är deskriptivt. Djupintervjuerna tolkas fenomenologiskt.

In this project I have worked with porcelain och and porcelain decors. The project was based on questions like why porcelain is such a richly decorated product and how you can maka a shape and a decor feel like a entirety. In December 2009 I went to China in search for answers and to study porcelain decors. This trip has been my inspiration throughout the whole project and also the main theme for the idea, the shape and the decor. That is why I decided to make a teacup with a plate that also has a function as a lid.As I first started working with the shape I was thinking to make a rounded teacup, inspired by the chinese rice bowls, but since I had to produce the porcelain by myself I decided to make a much more simple shape.

Redan tidigt då jag besökte North Kingdom kom det upp förslag på studier som skulle kunna vara av intresse. Flera förslag fick man stryka direkt då de var mer programmeringsinriktade. Men det som fastna var förslaget att göra en teaser trailer. Tillsammans med Tomas Hillergren tog vi på oss den uppgiften, att skapa en teaser trailer till en fiktiv film eller ett spel.
