The Picture book - text and image in interaction. A study of Tove Jansson's picturebook: The Book About Moomin, Mymble and Little MyThis study examines Tove Jansson's picture book The Book About Moomin, Mymbleand Little My, to show relationships between text and image in the narration of thestory. This is done through an analysis based on Ulla Rhedins dissertation The picturebook - towards a theory where the conclusion is that the picture book as book mediumcan be divided in three different picture concepts. The various concepts are; the epicpicture book, the expanding text as well as the genuine picture book. This study hasperformed a text and image analysis showing that the image colors, the differentspreads, landscape scenes and characters' placement, et cetera play a role in placingthe picture book in its concept.Tove Jansson used more than text and image to work out the story of theMoomintroll, Mymble and Little My, there are holes in the picture book that have animportant role, which the analysis will show.

The creation of Region Skåne, and the transfer of the development responsibility from the national administrative country board (Länsstyrelsen) has given the state new challenges. New structures have grown between Region and State, and also between different municipalities. These can be characterized as Policy-networks, and the goal of this study is to analyze the planning process of the regional infrastructure with these theories.This is a qualitative study of the infrastructure process in Skåne, and the actors that acts within this process. It has been studied with the eyes of the theories of Governance and Policy-networks. The main method to collect material has been through interviews with different actors within the process, and very little written material has been used.

In this paper I'm trying to trace, analyze and emphasize Kathy Acker?s Great Expectations and Alison Knowles?s The Big Book in regard to the books in/finite im/possibilities. I analyze them through historical changes in the books format and structure, especially ones proposed by Mallarmé, Duchamp and Fluxus. To analyze the texts more closely attention is directed to how Acker and Knowles challenge the conventional narrative, in regard to the body and language/voice and sound. I give specific emphasizes to thoughts posted by écriture féminine, while also adding Mara Lee?s temporalities in regard to body resistance and time.

The purpose with this essay is to study if the exhibition, Maria-Drömmen om kvinnan has a gender perspective and if it contributes to the history of art. The study shows what kind of women the exhibition illustrates and what kind of perspective it has. By telling about the black Madonna I also show that there is another representation of the middle age women in the Roman Catholic Church at this time that the exhibition not have included. The study is also going to illustrate the difference between a genderperspektiv in art and a women?s perspective.

Syftet är att klargöra hur naturen är värdefull enligt Rolston samt att kritiskt granska de argument som förs fram.Uppsatsen har tre delar. En introduktion som i korthet presenterar teorier om etisk naturalism, antropocentrisk etik, det naturalistiska misstaget, intrinsikala värden samt distinktionen mellan kultur och natur. Kraftvärme är en energieffektiv metod att producera både el och fjärrvärme men användningen av denna produktionsform begränsas av att fjärrvärmebehovet vanligtvis är lägre under den varma delen av året. På senare tid har både forskning och nybyggda anläggningar visat på synergieffekter av att samordna produktion av biodrivmedel eller förädling av trädbränslen med kraftvärmeproduktion i en så kallad energikombinatanläggning. Då Vattenfall Värme Uppsala är i behov av att ersätta sitt befintliga kraftvärmeverk utreds i denna studie möjliga ekonomiska och miljömässiga fördelar med att bygga en energikombinatanläggning. I studien utreds ett antal olika tekniker som kan tänkas ingå i energikombinatet och ett antal alternativ väljs ut för vidare analys. Alternativen jämförs sedan med ett referensalternativ bestående av enbart ett nytt biobränsleeldat kraftvärmeverk.Studien visar att en energikombinatanläggning bestående av ett kraftvärmeverk i kombination med tillverkning av pellets eller black pellets kan leda till ökad lönsamhet jämfört med enbart ett kraftvärmeverk.
