LÀrares erfarenheter av att anvÀnda sociala medier i undervisning

This study aims to investigate how and why teachers use social media to reach their students, and how they handle different levels of computer literacy among students.The purpose of this study is to investigate the experience of teachers using social media in their teaching. I have done interviews with two teachers, who use social media in different ways. One of the teachers makes her students publish their work on the Internet on wiki-spaces, and the other one use Facebook for discussions and teamwork. This report uses the pedagogy theories laid forth by Vygotskij as a vantage point to analyze the answers from the teachers. I have also looked at some of the published student texts on the Internet.This study concludes there are students who don?t have access to computers and Internet at home.

AbstractTitle: The constant change - A comparative study of profit companies and nonprofit organizations' brand management through social mediaAuthor: Agnes Nobel & Matilda VallgrenTutor: Daniel LövgrenPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to study profit companies and nonprofit organizations? branding and strategic communication on social media. If social media has supported with new interaction with stakeholders and hence affected the branding work. Also if there are any differences between profit companies and nonprofit organizations.Method/Material: The method that is used in the article is a qualitative research. The research is based on conversations interviews conducted with eight organizations, four profit companies and four nonprofit organizations.Main results: The main result showed that all organizations are actively involved with social media in their strategic communication when in order to increase the interaction with stakeholders and thus strengthen their brand identity. It turned out that all organizations have not adapted the brand to social media, but worked with the organizations values ??and only applied the trademark on social media.

From an organizational standpoint social media has become a way for organizations to get closer to, and create a dialogue with, their environment. Swedish municipalities have began to use social media in their daily communication with the environment, but a problem has been raised about how public organizations should organize their social media when formal guidelines from the government are missing.Objective: The objective of this thesis is to examine how eight Swedish municipalities have organized their use of social media due to the lack of official guidance from the government, and also what difficulties that have occurred during this process.Method: The method used is qualitative with data collected through interviews with one respondent from each municipality.Results: The result show that the organizational solutions varies through each municipality but also the choice of social media. It has been important for municipalities to have someone in charge of the new communication tool since social media is a fast and communicative channel. Seven out of eight municipalities have already developed or are in process of developing their own formal guidelines on how to use social media.

Tidningars syn pÄ ungdomar : En kvalitativ studie

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att förstÄ hur bilden av ungdomar konstrueras i svensk dags- och kvÀllspress. Problematiseringen av uppsatsÀmnet var den verklighet som konstrueras, i det hÀr fallet bilden av ungdomar, som kan konstrueras till ett socialt problem. Den teoretiska utgÄngspunkten har varit socialkonstruktivistisk. Metoden för att förstÄ bilden av ungdomar var genom tolkning och analys av text. TvÄ statligt utgivna rapporter valdes ut, dÀrefter söktes via databas efter tidningsartiklar som berörde Àmnena ungdom och de utvalda rapporterna.

RosengÄrdselevers identitetsskapande - En undersökning om massmedias pÄverkan

Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka hur eleverna i RosengÄrd uppfattar den massmediala bilden av sitt omrÄde och hur denna bild pÄverkar deras identitetsutvecklande. För att komma fram till svar pÄ dessa frÄgestÀllningar har jag anvÀnt mig av enkÀter med 45 respondenter. UtifrÄn svaren pÄ dessa enkÀter har jag sedan genomfört sex stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer. Som bakgrund och som tolkningsredskap har jag utgÄtt frÄn litteratur och tidigare forskning i Àmnet. Det finns en uppsjö av litteratur som pÄ olika sÀtt belyser den problematik som finns kring den massmediala bevakningen av omrÄden med mÄnga utlandsfödda svenskar.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is; to explain and clarify how the company is acting to lead members in social media to achieve valuable external communication. The authors believe that it is important to act with credibility and quality in social media, to accomplish long lasting relationships. When employees communicate with consumers their conduct is relevant to the company's credibility.Methodology: An inductive approach has been used for the empirical data collection since the authors have been studying the reality without existing theories. A qualitative research method has been used for collecting the empirical material. Primary data was collected from telephone interviews with seven companies, active in social media.Conclusions: The study shows that the power of employees? can be used when designing strategies for social media.

The study concludes that there are several benefits as well as drawbacks to leadership in using social media, but has yet to conclude weather productive or not. This study gives an overview of a relatively unexplored subject.Leadership in terms of leader, communication and group dynamics have been defined and explained in accordance with existing literature. A  brief review of computer and Internet history attempts to explain the formation and evolution of social media. Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka den diskurs som följde i svensk media efter migrationsverkets beslut att ge syriska flyktingar permanent uppehÄllstillstÄnd.Metoden som vi har utgÄtt ifrÄn Àr kritisk diskursanalys och innehÄllsanalys. Som data har vi valt ut tolv artiklar och tvÄ TV-program.Resultatet visar att media Àger den makt som gör att de fÄr avgöra hur ett sÄdant beslut ska presenteras och diskuteras. Resultatet visar Àven att media anvÀnder idag en annorlunda diskurs jÀmfört med 1980 och 1990 talet.Media kan med sin makt avgöra vem som ska/inte ska uttrycka sig. En ?Vi? och ?De? skapas av media som skiljer mellan den etablerade och den oetablerade i samhÀllet.

Bilder av landskapsarkitektyrket i Sverige : en pilotstudie om yrkesrollen

I takt med att vÄr medvetenhet om miljöns pÄverkan pÄ vÄrt vÀlbefinnande ökar, sÄ ökar ocksÄ behovet av en kunnig yrkeskÄr som planerar vÄr livsmiljö utifrÄn de rÄdande förutsÀttningarna. Landskapsarkitektyrket Àr ett relativt ungt yrke, vars tunna yrkeshistorik bidrar till en allmÀnhet som generellt Àr dÄlig pÄ att definiera yrkesrollen. In our case study we investigate how media chose to illuminate the process of court proceedings concerning a one specific rape case in Sweden during the spring and autumn 2007. For our study we have chosen to investigate two Swedish daily newspapers, one known to be a serious morning newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, and the other an evening tabloid newspaper Expressen. We would like to see whether the reports of the trial diverge and if that is, how they differ.The rape took place in Stockholm?s posh area named Stureplan in March 2007. The two men 21 and 25 years old, accused for the crime were acquitted after the first instance.

Den förvrÀngda invandraren : En kvalitativ studie om hur publiken tolkar och genomskÄdar invandrarrepresentationer i svenska medier

The aim of this study was to seek knowledge about how the media audience interprets media representations of immigrants as well as the construction of ?us? and ?them? that is created from the media report.We implemented two focus group interviews, one containing only ethnical Swedes and one holding a variety of people with different ethnical backgrounds. The focus groups got to read nine news articles from different Swedish news papers selected by us, based upon previous research. These articles got to serve as the basis of the discussion.To supplement the focus groups, which got to represent the media audience, we also interviewed two different persons we choose to call informants, whom are both immigrants and are or have been politically active and often appear in local media.The interviews were our empirical material which was used for analysis. The method we used was qualitative analysis of meaning and was based upon a hermeneutic starting point, meaning that all humans are interpreting beings.

This essay will deal with how media?s picture perception of Ludmila Engqvist has changed by analysing articles from the Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen from 1996 to 2001. Why and how the media?s picture has changed will be analysed through the perspectives of Ludmila Engqvist being an elite athlete, immigrant and woman.

Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att diskutera vilken roll bilden spelar i ungdomars identitetsskapande, pÄ vilket sÀtt den anvÀnds och i vilket syfte. Hela oskrivna regelverk kring bildanvÀndandet existerar och de flesta Àr vÀl insatta i dem.
