The purpose of this paper is to present and analyze the yearly expenses for Swedish rental apartments during the period 1999 to 2007. At the end, it will give the reader a general picture of how the cost-level has fluctuated depending on the production year when the apartment building was finished, and where the same building is located. This paper has the following questions as a starting point:- Can there be an identification of regions depending on where people tend to favor renting an apartment?- How are those regions distributed? That is, where are the cost-levels of the yearly rental expenses highest and where are the levels lowest?Nine statistical surveys from the Swedish government agency Statistics Sweden (Statistiska Centralbyrån) have been used as primary sources for this paper. These surveys deal with price pictures of housing in general, but for this paper the only information that has been used is the one about rental apartments.

Gestamp HardTech AB, dotterbolag åt Gestamp Automoción, tillverkar presshärdade delar och system åt biltillverkare. Avdelningen för verktygskonstruktion inom Gestamp HardTech har sedan år 2000 konstruerat presshärdningsverktyg i CAD-systemet I-deas. Eftersom mjukvaran är på väg att fasas ut av Siemens, så måste denna mjukvara ersättas och Gestamp HardTech vill därför undersöka möjligheterna med CAD-systemet NX. Syftet är att inför övergången till NX utreda och ta fram en enhetlig, systematisk och därmed även tidsbesparande arbetsprocess för konstruktion av presshärdningsverktyg. Målsättningen är följaktligen att hitta en modelleringsstrategi där kunskap och standard på ett smart sätt finns inbyggt i CAD-systemet.

Introduction Every tenth patient in Sweden is affected by nosocomial infections. Among these, urinary tract infection (UTI) is the most frequently occurring within the hospital environment. Nosocomial infections lead to increasing costs for care, more suffering among the patients, increasing use of antibiotics, and longer treatment spells. The Academic hospital have engaged all wards in the so called VRISS-project (?nosocomial infections must be stopped?) in order to reduce the number of nosocomial infections.Aim In connection to the VRISS-project new routines for removal of uretrahl catheters are introduced at ward 70E2 at the Academic hospital.

Abstract Svanvik, Robin (2013). Läs: spela! En jämförande studie av elevers uppfattningar om datorspel, skönlitteratur och lärande. Svanvik, Robin (2013). It Reads: Play! A comparative study of students' beliefs about computer games, fiction reading and learning. This essay is part of a masters degree of pedagogy and investigates the experiences of 10 high-school students concerning playing computer-games-off-the-shelf (COTS) on the one hand, and reading fictional, printed novels on the other. The aim of this study was to learn more about the students' thoughts about playing COTS and reading novels; also, what differences and similarities there might be between these activities. Furthermore, I wanted to know what they thought they might learn from these activities. The theoretical point of departure for the study is twofold: Firstly, a theory of learning as expressed by Illeris (2007) and, secondly, a sociocultural perspective on learning, represented by Säljö (2000, 2005/2010) which includes the educational benifit of both playing COTS, represented by Gee (2007), and reading fiction, represented by Probst (1990) and Langer (1995). The method used in this study is mainly qualitative by nature.

The aim of the study is to examine how different factors,such as views on how knowledge is produced and howlearning takes place, effect the way an academic librarymanages space. This is done by looking into how a specificlibrary, namely Library & Learning Resources (LLR) at theUniversity of Borås, by re-planning the building?s structure,design and functions, can support the students? differentstudying habits. The analysis is performed by using a theoreticalperspective built by a model first created by thearchitect Daniel Koch. The model is designed to look uponhow space produces meaning and knowledge.

Studiens syfte är att förstå hur statens fokus för att utbilda rektorer har ändrats över tid. Arbe-tet består i att studera två skilda statliga texter som talar om rektorsutbildning. Den första texten är Lärande ledare ? Ledarskap för dagens och framtidens skola (2001) (Text 1) och den andra texten är Tydligare ledarskap i skolan och förskolan ? förslag till en ny rektors¬utbildning Ds 2007:34 (Text 2). Mellan de båda texternas tillkomst har det gått sex år.Undersökningsfrågorna är: Vad uttrycker de två texterna om skolledare och den utbildning skolledare behöver? I vilken tidsanda skrevs respektive text? Vilka förändringar/förskjut¬ningar i synen på rektorns roll och utbildning kan iden¬tifieras?Metoden som använts är diskursanalys.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur integration av invandrare i de areella näringarna (växtodling, djurhållning och skogsskötsel) och på landsbygden kan underlättas, med fokus på Västra Götalands län. Det sker dels genom en litteraturstudie i ämnet, dels genom att beskriva erfarenheter av några projekt inom grön integration som genomförts i Västra Götaland, finansierat av landsbygdsprogrammet 2007-2013. Flyktingar med olika bakgrund intervjuas också om sin syn på landsbygden och intresse av att bo på landsbygden och arbeta inom de gröna näringarna. Litteraturstudien täcker olika aspekter på integration, såsom integration på landsbygden jämfört med i städerna, kommuners och myndigheters roll, möjligheter för invandrare att etablera sig som företagare inom de gröna näringarna, och nischer inom de gröna näringarna som kan vara lämpliga/möjliga för invandrare att etablera sig inom. Invandrare i Sverige bor i hög utsträckning i städer. Svensk landsbygd domineras av etniska svenskar och åldersstrukturen på landsbygden är ogynnsam för de gröna näringarna. För att utvecklas behöver landsbygden attrahera unga människor, entreprenörer och barnfamiljer. Invandrare är entreprenörer i högre utsträckning än etniska svenskar, och det finns många invandrade barnfamiljer som vill bo och arbeta på landsbygden.

The aim of this research review is to map research about how children relate to nonfiction, and how adults, represented by parents, librarians and teachers, relate to children?s nonfiction and its possible purposes, and also the similarities and differences between them, according to current research.A theory of three different ways to look at reading is applied to the material concerning adults? views of children?s nonfiction. To show children?s views, themes are extracted from the research material, using an analysis model of four different ways to read.Studies show that most children as well as adults perceive children?s nonfiction in a traditional way as a means to gain knowledge and facts, and primarily related to school work.Nonfiction can also help children with reading difficulties to practise reading, by stimulating their interests. Many children read nonfiction because they prefer to read ?real stories? about actual people and events.

The purpose of this essay ("Gateway to the Past. An archaeological quality controlled subject gateway as a resource for higher education in Lund") is to examine how a quality controlled subject gateway could increase the quality of the information supply for the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History at Lund University. The essay gives a brief background to subject gateways and also describes the Department and its subjects (prehistoric archaeology, medieval archaeology, osteology and classical studies) . The essay consists of a questionnaire distributed to parts of the target group as well as an investigation of three particular subject gateways: NordArk, ARGE and The Labyrinth. The essay also contains an exposition of how archaeologists seek information, of the structure of the archaeological subjects and of classification systems for quality controlled subject gateways.

The Internet offers an abundance of information. This information is easy to access in technical terms, however it is difficult to find. At present there is a wide variety of search services to choose from. This master's thesis is about selecting the appropriate search service for a certain question. Are different types of services suitable for different types of questions, and if so, which services for which questions?To answer this, I have undertaken one theoretical and one empirical study.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to describe the expansion of Sundbyberg public library during the decade 1954 to 1964. Our focus of interest is the library?s concentration on public relations in 1954.During the experimental year 1954 a public relations librarian, Bianca Bianchini, was employed. Her task was to introduce thelibrary to the citizens of Sundyberg who were not already using it. As a background to this concentration on public relations we also describe the early development of the public library in Sundbyberg.

This case study examines the new media presentation system in Alby public library. The aim is to explore if the contemporary Zeitgeist, wich according to the sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, could be described as liquid modernity, has affected how the system was formed. The purpose is to find out how that would affect users and staff of public libaries of the contemporary. Interviews were conducted with the library staff, and plans and documents concerning the media presentation system was examined.The empirical part of this thesis starts with a study of the process that resulted in the new presentation system while the second part examines the system as such. I discovered that both the media presentation system, and the process which preceded it, contained aspects that could be traced to liquid modernity.

Syftet med undersökningen är att synliggöra barns och vuxnas uppfattning om barnboken. Vi vill få kunskap om vad föräldrar, pedagoger och bibliotekarier har för roll genom att delge barn den kunskap och det innehåll som barnboken ger. När viss undersökning visar att barnbokslån går ner och annan undersökning visar att barnboken är viktig för barn, både språkligt och socialt, vill vi sätta detta i fokus.Metoden grundar sig på kvalitativa studier genom enkäter med intervjufrågor till föräldrar, pedagoger och kommunens bibliotekarie samt intervjuer av barn på våra arbetsplatser. Undersökningen sätter vi i perspektiv till våra styrdokument Läroplanen för förskolan 1998 samt literatur vi anser relevant för vårt examensarbete.Slutsatsen vi har dragit av genomförda undersökningar är att pedagoger och föräldrar samt biblioteken har ett stort ansvar när det gäller barnboken och varför den behövs. Det finns olika vägar att gå för att väcka barns intresse och hur vi gör är upp till varje vuxen att ta beslut om - huvudsaken är att vi läser för barn.

Detta är en undersökning om hur högstadielärare gör skönlitterära val åt sina elever i ämnet svenska. Vår undersökning begränsar sig till verksamma lärare och vi vill se hur lärarnas val påverkas av begrepp som kanon, populärkultur och skräplitteratur. Undersökningen har ägt rum på en skola i Småland, kallad Smålandsskolan, och en skola i Blekinge, kallad Blekingeskolan.Undersökningen har genomförts med intervjuer av lärare under vår VFU (verksamhetsförlagda utbildning) där vi har ställt frågor utifrån en intervjuguide som vi i förväg skapat. Frågorna handlade om vilka undervisningsämnen lärarna hade, deras erfarenheter, vilken litteratur de använder i skolan och slutligen hur de ställer sig till kanonbegreppet.Resultaten visar att lärare påverkas av kanonlitteraturen när de väljer litteratur åt sina elever, men i olika stor utsträckning. Undersökningsskolornas skönlitterära utbud påverkas även av skolornas budget och om skolan har ett bibliotek.
