The aim of this study was to investigate leadership in public health care. The methods used were shadowing and semi-structured interviews. The shadowing involved observing the shared leadership of two head nurses in an administrative management position of a ward in their daily work during two weeks. The observation was supplemented by ten semi-structured interviews. A thematic analysis of the data was carried out and the result indicated that shared leadership is a form of leadership well suited for an organisation as big and complex as the clinic where the study took place.

Den afrikanska kontinenten beräknas att drabbas mer än någon annan region av klimat-förändringarnas direkta effekter. Samtidigt är anpassningsmöjligheterna här begränsade och ekonomin särskilt beroende av klimatrelaterade sektorer. Samband mellan ekonomisk svaghet och sårbarhet är relativt kartlagda i det internationella klimatarbetet. Dessa kopplingar belyser inte minst kvinnors utsatta position i utvecklingsregioner, eftersom kvinnor utgör majoriteten av världens fattiga befolkningar. Sårbarhet inför ett förändrat klimat grundas dock inte enbart på ekonomiska och finansiella tillgångar.

Ett arbete inom produktutveckling har utförts på uppdrag av Goodtech Solution AB i Karlstad. Den produkt som utvecklats är en prototyp av en robotcell. Robotcellens uppgift beskrivs som automatisk pallkragsmontering på en lina. Den här rapporten omfattar förbättringsarbetet för Ytterkragen och dess drift för vertikal rörelse och höjdpositionering. Syftet är att rapporten för detta arbete ska ligga som grund för prototypens förbättringsarbeten innan den släpps ut påmarknaden.Monteringen sker på en lina med rullband där emballaget monteras ihop i robotcellen innan det skickas vidare för nästa moment.

This thesis analyses the literature debate in the overlooked Swedish magazine Samtid och Framtid 1944?1949. The magazine was first published at the end of World War II on the initiative of publisher Johan Hansson. After an interesting start, the terms of the debate in the magazine were changed after a power struggle on the editorial level. Thus, the magazine never became the influential arena for literary discussions that it first had potential of becoming.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the role of the acquisition of the Swedish language for integration of adult immigrants given by the seven parties currently in the parliament and other players on the field. The questions were meant to bring light upon the arguments used by the different players concerning the role of the Swedish language, to enlighten which discourses that are constructed, and the contradictions that exist between these. We parted from a postmodern position and used social constructionism to back up our method and theory of analysis; discourse theory. The results revealed three different discourses concerning the role of the Swedish language in the integration process; the liberal discourse, the discrimination discourse and the social democratic discourse. The liberal discourse claims that immigrants have a responsibility to learn Swedish to be able to achieve employment and to provide for themselves.

Urban planning in Sweden goes back to a prolonged tradition, and even since the beginning of the 16th century there´s been general plans for urban planning for cities in Sweden.Nowadays every municipality has a directive from the government to establish or re-new the general master plan covering the whole municipality every 4th year.The aim of this paper is to illustrate and shed light on the extent for the planning document and guidelines, and how they change from every active period and in what extent the provisional planning reaches its visions regarding the outcome of the actual city growth. This study was completed by studying the position of every apartment building that?s been constructed for the chosen area over the years of 2000 - 2014 and draw comparisons between the current master plan main visions regarding constructions ? and comparing the two separate visions to pin out the differences in the same subject.The result shows that there are some deviations from the plans but not as much as one would have thought in the city growth, and some deviations from the different planning documents. Some of the deviations was greater than others but overall the visions was about the same..

This essay reflects on the thoughts and experiences of social workers in child protection agencies when it comes to talking about sexuality with teenagers, age 13-20, who is being subjected to inquiry. The research is qualitative and based on five semi-structured interviews. It has a phenomenological position and has been analyzed hermeneutically through cognitive and gender theory. Previous research shows that youths who get in contact with child protection often have issues about their sexuality. This study show that social workers in the agencies lack knowledge about this issue and that they seldom talks about it with the teenagers or their own colleagues.

Politicians attract their voters by promising more jobs and investment in education, health and social care. Against this background, I wonder how the situation of artists will be affected by the followingquestions:? What political views on the artist's position in society appeared in propositions of Socialdemokraterna and Moderaterna?? In what way did these propositions influence the conditions of artists?? How have the artists of Värmland been affected by different (Socialdemokraterna and Moderaterna) cultural policies? With my investigation I find out more about the artists' conditions on a national level, but I also investigate the situation in Värmland. By examining policy proposals and reports, I learn more about the issues. I also conduct a survey and three in-depth interviews to obtain opinions from various sources.The respondents are the cultural departments of Värmland and representatives from cultural organizations.What is clear from my research is that politicians differ on some issues, especially those relating to commercialism and artist salaries.

The Sweden Democrats uses a term to describe a situation where ?swedes? are being discriminated against by other ethnic groups and where the elite is promoting this. The term ?svenskfientlighet? can be translated as ?swedofobia? and in this thesis a speech by the party leader Jimmie Åkesson held during the election campaign that solely was dedicated to this term is being analyzed with the help of tools developed by the scholar Ruth Wodak. Ruth Wodak has previously analyzed the rhetoric by other European right-wing-populist parties like FPÖ in Austria and has asked for other researchers to analyze the speech used by right-wing-populist and extremist parties to get a better understanding for just how these parties construct their different enemies.

This essay aims to determine how Muslims are produced in the public domain in Swedishcontemporary time. My study is based on three different materials; Hot mot demokrati ochvärdegrund ? en lägesbild från Malmö investigating Islamist radicalism and extremism inRosengård, articles on Omar Mustafa and his resignation from the Social Democratic Partyand Gun Holmertz article Islamismen får allt större fäste i Hjällbo and the following debate.The method used is discourse analysis as the purpose of the study is to examine howMuslims are produced within the prevailing discourse. Theoretical points have beenPostcolonial theory, Orientalism, Islamophobia and ?us? and ?them?.The results of the study confirm the results of earlier studies, namely that Muslims are not produced in a beneficial way.

This paper emphasizes that the analyzing and the intepretation of images, involves anholistic view, including intention, content, message, and the influence on the observer.The paper focuses on daily produced images. The starting point of this paper is ´image´in the concept of ´the written image´. The theory- and method textcritical perspective.used in this paper is close connected to Paul Feyerabends, Against Method, and toRobert Farrells work Feyerabend and Scientific Values. This papers specific ques-tionsare, 1) is analyzing and intepretation of images, subjective ?, 2) needs the subjectivityto be handled to limit arbitrariness and distortion ?, 3) is it appropriate to use a filterof awarerness as an aid to handle the subjectivity ? Detta arbete tar upp iden om att datorspel kan användas som ett hjälpmedel för att förstå och hantera komplexa system, för den enskilde spelaren såväl som för forskare. Arbetet fokuserar på ett antal kritiska faktorer: möjligheter, problem och frågeställningar, samt tar upp en diskussion kring möjligheten att se datorspel som världar, lika verkliga som vår egen, då vi ser på det från en position innanför systemet, genom speljaget som en agent i den virtuella världen, och vilka implikationer detta kan få för hur vi kan lära oss att förstå och hantera komplexa system.Vi lever i en verklighet i vilken vi omges av komplexa system, både sådana vi skapat själva och sådana som finns naturligt. Det är en paradox att den teknologiska utvecklingen som strävar efter att förenkla vår tillvaro också undantagslöst komplicerar den. Att försöka hitta nya vägar att kunna lära oss att förstå och hantera dessa komplexa system är därför viktigt, och här presenteras datorspelet som ett tänkbart redskap för att göra just detta..

Syftet med studien var att studera hur fenomenet självläkning framställdes i nationell och internationell forskning. Studien omfattar tre frågeställningar: (1) Hur definieras alkoholmissbruk i artiklarna? (2) Hur definieras självläkning i artiklarna? (3) Hur framställs självläkningsprocessen i artiklarna? För att besvara dessa frågeställningar gjordes en selektiv kunskapsöversikt och en kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes som metod. Kunskapsöversikten utgjordes av tio forskningsdokument vilka omfattades av kvalitativa och kvantitativa undersökningar mellan åren 1996-2007. Studiens position är postmodern.

Idag finns det flera etablerade företag på marknaden som kan utgöra stora hinder för nyaaktörer att ta sig in på marknaden. Ett tidigt etablerat företag har ett försprång och kangenom olika distributionskanaler nå fram till konsumenterna med sitt budskap samt skapasig en position på marknaden. Det kan även medföra att det genererar till en hög grad avkundlojalitet som är svår att övervinna som ny aktör. Därmed krävs det mycketengagemang från nya etablerare för att synas på marknaden och finna en position.Medicintekniska branschen är väldigt komplex i den mån att det är svårt att ta sig in somny aktör. Svårigheten ligger i att det krävs mycket kunskap kring den avanceradeutrustningen samtidigt som arbetet sker med tandläkare och tandhygienister som är högtutbildade med hög integritet.

Årligen kommer rapporter om hur svenskarnas bokläsning minskar och på kultursidorna förs regelbundet debatter kring bokens hotade position. Det finns en mängd tillgänglig statistik över de mätbara aspekterna av böcker och läsning som t.ex. hur många som läser, hur mycket de läser, vad de läser etc. De bakomliggande orsakerna, de underliggande motiv och attityder som påverkar konsumentbeteendet, finns det däremot inte lika mycket material kring. Ungdomar som kundsegment är av flera anledningar en intressant grupp att studera för ämnet.
