Every plan and program decided on by an authority or municipality, where the environmental impact can be considerable, must be environmentally assessed according to Environmental Code, the Planning and Building Act (PBA) and the Regulation on Environmental Impact Assessment.The purpose of this study is to examine the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for The Region Development Plan for the Stockholm Region, RUFS 2010. The plan was approved by at that time the Regional Planning Office (Regionplanekontoret), which procured the process by consultants. RUFS 2010 includes two merged plans ie. a regional Development Plan (RUP) and the Regional Spatial Plan for Stockholm. It was necessary to establish an environmental assessment of RUP, but not for the regional plan.

Att arbeta som kriminalvÄrdare kan verka bÄde spÀnnande och farligt. MÄnga mÀnniskor Àr nog av uppfattningen att det endast Àr stora starka mÀn som Àr mest lÀmpade för den typen av arbete. Hur Àr det egentligen dÄ att vara kvinna och arbeta inom KriminalvÄrden? Tidigare forskning om kvinnliga kriminalvÄrdare visar att sÀkerhetsupplevelsen i mÄnga fall Àr relaterad till utrustning och att bemötandet kvinnorna fÄr uppleva Àr kopplat till nedvÀrdering, bÄde frÄn intagna och kollegor. VÄrt syfte med uppsatsen Àr att synliggöra hur kvinnliga kriminalvÄrdare upplever sin sÀkerhet i sin yrkesutövning.

The final stage of a designers work is always a bit tricky. Design is an abstract phenomenon and no one can tell when a design is really finished. The design process that designers work within has been thoroughly studied but cannot be truly mapped with strict constraints which the designer can follow to succeed. Therefore, in this paper we take a look at the final stage in the design process. The main goal is to get more knowledge and highlight key factors about what designers face when they are about finish their design or what forces them to leave a project that can stay in development for eternity.

Each student in elementary school will under current policy documents have an individual development plan (IEP) from 1 January 2006. The plan should primarily aim for a higher goal achievement, but also to the student to gain a greater understanding of their own learning process and knowledge. My experience is that some students, despite efforts IUP have difficulty seeing their own learning process and it has been the starting point of my study. The aim of the study has been to investigate and analyze teachers work with individual development plans from the first grade to the sixth grade from a teacher's perspective. The goal was to identify strategies and techniques that could help develop IUP as a tool for the student's learning and understanding of their own learning process.

Syfte: Syftet var att belysa betydelsen av anvÀndandet av munbedömningsinstrument för vÄrdpersonalen. Metod: AllmÀn litteraturstudie. Resultat: Genom en innehÄllsanalys framkom de tvÄ subkategorierna; Ger möjlighet att upptÀcka och Tydliggör fortsatt behov av munbedömning. Dessa ledde till kategorin; Munbedömningsinstrumentet ger struktur.

Syfte Vi ska arbeta fram ett balanserat styrkort för Ronneby Kommuns kommunledningskontor med nÀringslivsinriktning. Vidare vill vi beskriva vÄra erfarenheter av denna process som vi sjÀlva deltar i. Ingen saga utan hjÀlte - en kvalitativ innehÄllsanalys av spelet Shenmue II Syftet med denna uppsats Àr att undersöka berÀttelsens struktur i Shenmue II samt karaktÀrernas funktion för berÀttelsens drivkraft. Ett bakomliggande syfte Àr att undersökningen skall underbygga vÄr Äsikt om att datorspel kan vara berÀttande och sÄledes möjliga att studera med narratologiska verktyg. VÄra frÄgestÀllningar Àr; Hur ser berÀttelsens struktur ut i Shenmue II? Vilken funktion fÄr karaktÀrerna för berÀttelsens drivkraft i datorspelet Shenmue II? Vi anvÀnder oss av en kvalitativ innehÄllsanalys och vi har valt att kombinera tvÄ olika typer av innehÄllsanalyser; den strukturalistiska och den narratologiska. VÄra teorier Àr till stor del en utgÄngspunkt och analysmetod för vÄr undersökning.

This dissertation is carried out on behalf of Two i Sverige AB. Two is a consulting agency which primarily works with the development of homepages. The company has several of its complete applications written in ASP e.g. the development of homepages. At the agency they have seen benefit migrating these applications from ASP to the more flexible environment ASP.NET.

By studying literature concerning design, didactics and reflection, and complementing those explorations with interviews with experienced design educators, this thesis challenges the idea of aesthetic media education being purely aesthetic in its characteristics. Drawing from their own experiences as a media aesthetics educator and an industrial designer, the two authors argue that the work flow used within most fields of design, commonly known as the design process, might provide a suitable didactic alternative to a field of education lacking relevant methodology. The literature study offers a better understanding of the design process and how it may be defined and viewed within an educational context. The interviews provide a more practical insight into the world of design education. The result shows that the design process as a didactical method theoretically offers both elements of critical thinking as well as direction and frames for students lacking aesthetic and artistic experience.

Detta examensarbete har syftat till att göra en genomgÄng av anvÀndningen av optimeringsprogrammet WoodLine pÄ Wallmarks SÄg AB. MÄlet har varit att hitta förbÀttringar i anvÀndningen av optimeringsprogrammet. Optimeringsprogrammet arbetar med sÄ kallade tabellpaket. De tabellpaket som tidigare anvÀnts har funnits i mÄnga Är, Àndringar i dom har skett av flera olika personer vilket har inneburit en avsaknad av struktur. I examensarbetet har det tagits fram ett förslag pÄ en metod att skapa nya tabellpaket som följer en viss struktur.

This study examines the possibilities of interpreting the moral values and ethics presented in the current curriculums in a way that makes them inclusive and constructive. The study also reveals how the liberal democratic ideal, presented in the curriculums as a hyper-ideology, is not at all easy to define or live up to in the pluralistic school of today.By close-reading and criticizing the curriculum for the Swedish senior high school (Gy11)and by looking at it from two different points of views, as rules or norms and as a process, Ishow how the curriculum can be interpreted as a basis or starting point for a communicationabout values. I also discuss wether the aim of this communication should be consensus or anongoing process..

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur behandlare uppfattar implementeringen av MI inom SiS-ungdomsvÄrd. Studien utgÄr frÄn en hermeneutisk forskningstradition med en kvalitativ ansats. Undersökningen bygger pÄ semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem behandlingspedagoger dÀr alla har erfarenhet av MI som förhÄllningssÀtt. Resultatet visar att MIs grundutbildning uppfattas som lÀrorik, givande och proffsigt utförd. Men nÀr kunskapen sedan skall införas i det praktiska arbetet skapas problem.

Lean Production is used by many manufacturing companies. Companies in process industries do not use Lean Production to the same extent today. This is part of the report's issue to explore how Lean Production can be applied to a company in the process industries.The investigated company is a processing company that manufactures various types of foil. The company wishes to streamline its production and has therefore asked the authors to examine if Lean Production can offer the company improvements in their production. Lean Production value stream mapping tool has been selected to identify and analyze the current state of two of its products in production.

The aim of this study is to increase understanding about addiction recovery. More specifically, we want to know what people who have had problems with alcohol and/or other drugs perceive as helpful and important for their recovery process and how we can understand this process.The study was conducted by means of qualitative semi-structured interviews with four people who have had alcohol and/or other drug problems. The analysis is based on a transtheoretical model of change from addictive behaviours, coping, interactionist theories and also a recovery perspective, inspired by research on recovery from mental illness . Main findings are that recovery from addiction can be understood as an individual process that takes place in a social context and can follow expected phases, although there are large individual differences in the process. Through the recovery process it has been of importance to the participants in the study to redefine themselves and their problems, get support from others, find ways to cope with their problems, get involved in meaningful activities and to expand their social roles.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement in the United States. By using a known theory within social movement studies, the political process theory, this thesis look into the factors that could have played a role in the rise and fast mobilization of the Tea Party movement. The political process theory consists of three parts and hence looks into both the political structure of, in this case, the United States, how mobilizing structures have been used and into the cultural framing used by the Tea Party to create their identity. In order to bring structure to the thesis, the three theory parts have been transformed into analysis models. These give a very good idea of all the factors that could have played a part and therefore also a good way to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement.The research confirm what the political process theory says, that the Tea Party movements rise came at a time when there were a mix of factors at play, both structural and cultural, creating an opportunity that the Tea Party took.
