En sund livsstil är en förutsättning för att uppnå en god folkhälsa bland alla befolkningar oavsett land. Befolkningens olika levnadsvanor som t.ex. rökning-, alkohol- och fysisk aktivitet skiljer sig åt mellan olika grupper beroende på inkomst, utbildning och sysselsättning. Därmed skiljer sig hälsan mellan olika socioekonomiska grupper i samhället. Tidigare studier har visat att en ohälsosam livsstil tenderar att finnas hos de mest utsatta socioekonomiska grupperna.

Theability to beat the market is one of the most discussed topics in finance. Thereare very few investors that manage to accomplish this over longer periods oftime. Most of the financial research claims that this is impossible unless theinvestor increase the risk in the portfolio. Another positive effect we are hoping for is to improve the situation for the investors whereas all parties benefit from an improved portfolio selection.This study is conducted through a qualitative case study, where we used a deductive approach and collected our data through personal interviews.The conclusion that emerges is that the financial counselling could potentially be improved if financial advisors improve their knowledge in portfolio theory.The originality shapes through the opportunity to investigate a specific bank and because of that an opportunity to examine a specific case more thoroughly was created. Our thesis contributes with opening La?nsfo?rsa?kringar?s and other banks? eyes to how their financial counselling could be improved through new knowledge in portfolio theory.

När en värdering av ett företag skall göras finns det flera olika typer av värderingsmetoder som kan användas. Bakgrunden till den här studien är att uppsatsförfattarna blev kontaktade av ägarna till ett företag som undrade vad deras företag skulle vara värt vid en eventuell försäljning. Det specifika med företaget är att det endast arbetar mot en kund, samt att företaget nästan inte har några materiella tillgångar.Syfte: Syftet är att kartlägga de olika värderingsmodeller som används vid värdering av företag, för att därefter klargöra vilken eller vilka metoder som är bäst lämpade för vårt fallföretag. Detta syftar till att resultera i en värdering av vårt fallföretag.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod i form av en grundlig litteraturstudie, samt en genomgång av tidigare forskning. Vidare har ett antal e-postintervjuer genomförts och slutligen presenteras en modell för värdering av vårt fallföretag.Teori: Den teoretiska delen av denna studie består av de värderingsmetoder som beskrivs i den litteratur som finns inom området.

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is one of the big feline species kept in zoos worldwide. The wild populations are quite small and therefore the captive population make up an important part of the total population of the world. Although life in the wild is not always easy and a captive environment provides shelter and food it does not come without problems. In captivity cheetahs become chronically ill and also develop stereotypic behaviours. Neither of these are problems in wild populations and both can be linked to stress in captivity.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur personal vid en låsbar SiS-institution beskriver sin syn på hur en optimal behandlingsinstution behöver utformas för att uppnå de bästa behandlingsförutsättningarna. Undersökningen har skett på en av statens institutionsstyrelse´s (SiS) ungdomshem i Sverige för ungdomar 14-20 år. De tre frågeställningar som studien redogör för är:Hur beskriver personalen att institutioner behöver organiseras för att uppnå de bästa behandlingsförutsättningarna?Hur beskriver personalen att behandlingsarbetet behöver formas för att uppnå bestående beteendeförändring?Hur beskriver personalen att en optimal ungdomsgrupp behöver formas utifrån den unges behandlingstid och behandlingsinnehåll?Kunskapsläget innehåller såväl den forskning som finns på området men också den teori som utvecklats utifrån den forskning som producerats. The residential yard at Kvarteret Landsfiskalen 1, in the area Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö was built in 1971 and has since then been reconstructed twice, in 1984 and 2008. The yard is found in an area which was built during the years 1965 ? 1974, a period in which the swedish goverment approved a decision to build one million homes, and much of the events in this particular yard is also typical for the process in many other areas built during the same period.At the original construction the design of the yard was entirely incused by the pressure in time and finance, one was under at that time, in order to over- come the housing shortage. Since the Chinese economy?s reform in 1980, it has been attracting enormous foreign investments. Many Swedish firms from different sectors such as technology, manufactory production, consumer, service industries and so on, had started their investments in China. China has become the first choice for global manufacturing due to the huge market, continuous economic growth, stable political situation, sound investment environment and the WTO membership. I denna studie skrivs det om den unga generationens (15-30 år) sparande och vad dessahar för inställning till kapital. Det har även studerats om bankerna märkt av någonskillnad mellan de olika generationerna.Författaren till denna studie har suttit med i styrelsen i finansföreningen BUFS (BoråsUniversity Finance Society) på Högskolan i Borås under det senaste året, år 2009, ochdärigenom stött på flera banktjänstemän som bjudits in som talare på Högskolan i Borås.Dessa har pratat om de olika sparmöjligheter som finns för oss privatpersoner samt dealternativ som de anser värda att satsa på om man är i början av sitt sparande. Detta harinneburit att funderingar över hur yngre människor (15-30 år) ställer sig till att spara harväckts.Intresset för detta område växte ytterligare när en intervju från 2008 lästes (SvensktNäringsliv, 2008-05-08) där Linda Hedström, Svenskt Näringslivs expert på ungdomarskonsumtionsvanor, berättade att det är många nya aspekter att ta hänsyn till när studierutförs om ungdomars konsumtionsvanor. Förvaltningen av kapital sker inte på sammasätt som förr, för 60 år sedan då våra far- och morföräldrar växte upp, och hon säger ävenatt dagens ungdomar beskrivs som "den ständigt uppkopplade digitala generationen somsäger ja till konsumtion men nej till reklam". One could argue that the most discussed topic in finance is whether or not it is possible to ?beat the market?. Even though many people claim to do this, there is little evidence to support the idea that one can consistently beat the market over a long period of time. There are indeed several examples of investors who have managed to outperform the market consistently for a long time, but the efforts of these individuals or institutions could by many be considered to be pure luck.One of the many strategies that have been evaluated by several researchers and is said to generate a risk adjusted return greater than that of the market, is one based on the P/E-effect. This strategy is based on the financial ratio P/E ? price divided by earnings ? and used by constructing portfolios consisting of stocks with low P/E ratios.
