Work and health are strongly connected because people spend the most part of their adult life in a workplace. The work environment influences the fellow co-workers experience of health and learning in different ways. Accordingly the organizations influence has by doing so, created a great significance to fellow co-workers experiences. Organizational changes often create turbulence within an organization and are often experienced negatively by the fellow-co-workers even if it will give positive effects later. The aim of this study was to illuminate nurses- and assistant nurses experiences of health and learning related to organizational changes.

Sverige klassificerades år 2004 som det aktietätaste landet i världen, då hela 77 procent av befolkningen var exponerad mot aktiemarknaden i någon form. År 2012 uppgick innehaven på svenska börsen till 3 715 miljarder kronor. Utvecklingen på aktiemarknaden är därför något som berör merparten av Sveriges befolkning.Investerare har sedan börsens introduktion försökt förutse marknadens utveckling för att finna de vinnande aktierna. Detta har utmynnat i flera olika sätt att analysera marknaden, exempelvis genom teknisk och fundamental analys. En tredje omtalad metod är kalenderanomalier, vilket baseras på kända mönster som tenderar att inträffa under vissa perioder på handelsåret.

This thesis was conducted to assess how the privatization of Iran Air process managed in last efforts and how should it be in right way. It increases the knowledge about privatization in Iran and the need for it. Iran air as our case study is a flag-carrier airline company that is protected by government regulations and subsidies. We try to find the reasons for failure of privatization in Iran Air and their attempt on privatization.The method used to collect data was a qualitative methodology, consisting of semi-structured interviews with relevant managers, and knowledgeable professors and the official sites and press. In conclusion, we find that privatization is an important need for Iran Air Company and the main problems that are against Iran Air can be categorized to political, financial, and social.

When we take the role of another we not only learn about them but also we learn about ourselves and how we interact with other people.  Social work in this form, working with directly with families in crises, is much about understanding other people?s perspective and feelings. It is important to know the strategy of one?s work and which perspective to work from.

Abstrakt Denna studie undersöker RSI indikatorn, och dennas förmåga att skapa en bättre avkastning än en Buy and Hold strategi. Studien har baserats på 27 olika aktier noterade på OMX Stockholm 30, 2006-12-29, under en tidsperiod om 7 år, 2000-01-03 till 2006-12-29. Genom att beräkna medelvärdet per 14 dagar för kursuppgångar respektive kursnedgångar har 14 dagars RSI beräknats. Därefter har köp- respektive säljsignaler beräknats genom om-funktioner i Excel. RSI strategin innebär att position tas på första köpsignal och säljs på nästkommande säljsignal under tidsperioden.

Ett generellt antagande i de flesta finansiella teorier handlar om att människor är rationella och riskaverta. En investerare bör därför diversifiera sin portfölj till att även inkludera tillgångar på den internationella finansiella marknaden. Detta innebär att dagens svenska investerare behöver läsa finansiell information på ett andraspråk, vanligtvis på engelska. Då tidigare studier inom beteendefinansiering visar på samband mellan språk och finansiella beslut, syftar den aktuella studien till att undersöka huruvida individers riskpreferenser vid beslutsfattande påverkas av om information läses på svenska (modersmål för svenska investerare) respektive engelska (andraspråk). Detta sker genom en enkätundersökning bland anställda på fyra svenska banker.

This has resulted that performance appraisal in many organizations takes up capacity and time. This was the starting point of our interest to study whether the time spent on performance appraisals effectively pays for itself in the organization, in other words whether the effects expected actually are achieved. The paper examines first line managers` views on staff appraisal purposes and effects of a function within the Landstinget. The survey design, methodology and transaction are of qualitative and quantitative method with three different sources: literature review of previous research, interviews with first line managers in Landstinget Västmanland and the results from an employee satisfaction survey conducted on behalf of Landstinget Västmanland.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how consumer advertising has an effect on other groups than the intended, the so-called extended audience of advertising. Previous research shows that consumer advertising can influence investors and employees of a company as well as affect the attractiveness of a company as a potential employer. In addition, research shows that more perceived cognitive effort in advertising results in positive signaling effects for consumers. This study aims to further build on these concepts in order to gain additional understanding of how consumer advertising can influence extended audiences. More specifically, it examines if more (versus less) effort in advertising can improve the future prospects on the labor market for an employee of the advertising company, by looking at recruitment consultants as an extended audience.

The purpose of this article is to examine how social workers may experience fear in their profession, how they and their organizations handle the fear and how the fear may affect their practice. To obtain the purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with seven social workers from the southeastern part of Sweden. The experiences of fear were many and are summarized in four categories. Fear of treats and violence, fear of the responsibility in complicated situations and without optimal solution, fear of being regarded and judged as worthless and fear of being scrutinized with the risk of being stigmatized. Småföretagare upplever en hård kreditmarknad med krav på höga säkerheter och bankerna är medvetna om att de stramat åt kreditgivningen på grund av konjunkturläget. Handelsbanken och SEB är två storbanker som funnits länge på marknaden och båda har fått utmärkelser för att vara framstående banker för småföretagare.Syfte: Att studera lånesituationen för småföretagare genom att angripa de psykologiska aspekter som kan vara av avgörande betydelse utöver hårda värden vid en kreditgivningsprocess.Metod: Genom en deduktiv ansats har semistrukturerade frågor ställts i kvalitativa intervjuer med två storbanker och tre småföretagare i olika branscher i Stockholm stad.Teorier: Behavioral Finance, Asymmetrisk information, Perception, Agentteorin, Imageteorin och Beslutstilsmodellen.Slutsatser: I kreditgivningsprocessen krävs en kombination av hårda och mjuka värden för att kunna fatta beslut på ett rättfärdigt sätt. This report is about how HDR (HighDynamicRange) can be created and used in combination with Tone mapping. This work has been carried out together with Kapsch TrafficCom AB in Jönköping.The objective of this project is to:Evaluate and investigate the effects given to pictures by HDR and tone mapping.Evaluate if the technology may lead to improvements in Kapsch?s systems.To construct a program which is able to handle some form of tone mapping or HDR-algorithm.These questions will be answered in this report:What kind of effects has HDR and tone mapping-algorithms on pictures?Can the HDR-technology give better data in Kapsch?s systems?The research method used in this report is called action research. This means the authors has investigated the technology by reading different documentations and by testing different algorithms to see what kind of result they give. The report describes some of the tests made to see if the technology is appropriate in Kapsch?s system.There is two smaller reports made by the authors which documenting some of the work.The first report describes the work with different settings for a camera to create pictures with HDR-quality.

Domestication has resulted in the ability for animals to adapt to environments created by the human over time. The behavior differs very little between wild and domesticated animals, but the difference seen is how often and to what degree a behavior is performed. The need for efficiency in modern animal production has led to welfare problems in the productionsystems where the animals have difficulties coping with their environment. Attempts to environmentally adapt individuals by selection for reduced frequency of natural behaviours have been made. These have shown that natural behaviours are complex and are controlled by several different mechanisms, making selection for reduced natural behavior difficult, and it may also lead to unwanted and abnormal behaviours.

AbstractSwedish tuition for immigrants (SFI) is a public adult education program in Sweden that was created in order to provide the immigrants with basic skills in Swedish. People with different backgrounds speaking different languages learn together how they should communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. For those who teach SFI it is important to know which factors have positive effects on the Swedish language acquisition. One of the questions to be asked is if the learning materials´ genre has any effect on the SFI students´ proficiency, in particular, oral proficiency. Scientists as von Franz, Vygotskiy and Bettelheim argued that fairy tales, as a genre consciously or subconsciously recognizable by all the people, present texts that are easy to acqiure.

AbstractAimThe aim of the pilot study was to compare short- and long-term effects from group exercise in water with land-based exercise on pain at rest and pain with movement, along with the effects on function in daily life and practice of sports and leisure activities in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The aims were: Is there a difference in short- and long-term effects on pain intensity at rest and pain with movement after exercise in water or land in patients with knee osteoarthritis? Is there a correlation between the degree of pain intensity at rest and with movement, respectively and long-term effects from the two different exercises on function in daily life and practice of sports and leisure? MethodThe study was a randomized intervention study without a control group. Twenty patients with radiographic knee osteoarthritis were under a total of eight weeks treated with either land- or water-based exercise lead by a physiotherapist. The patients rated pain intensity at rest and with movement on a numerical rating scale (NRS) before and after the first training session, before and after the eighth training session, before and after the fifteenth training session and before the last and sixteenth training session.

Human trafficking is one of the biggest social problems in Nepal with over 12.000 Nepali women and children being trafficked over the border to India every year. Despite the scale and the severe consequences of trafficking in the Nepalese society, very little is known about efforts to rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking. The purpose of this study was to illustrate the rehabilitation methods and interventions in Nepal. It is based on the results from five interviews with three different nongovernmental organizations in Nepal. The result from this study shows that counseling is the main intervention for rehabilitation of the mental health of victims of trafficking.
