The work should be seen as an attempt to create an accessible tool inthe form of a simplified equation that allows for a better and safer use of thenaval vessels. The tool will also be used at different levels so that decisions andinstructions could be clearer.Performed calculations show a very limited capacity of a ship's basic design interms of physical protection against the use of small-caliber projectiles.How do we know that the calculations correct? By verifying the calculations withpractical shooting tests, a substantial condition to answer the question will becreated. Stroke is caused by a bleeding or infarct in the brain and is one of the most common diseases in Sweden today. The purpose of the study was to evaluate if Ronnie Gardiner?s Rhythm Therapy (RGR-therapy) has any effect, regarding motor control and the subjective experienced health related quality of life, on people who have been affected by stroke. The examination group consisted of eight people. The intervention consisted of RGR-therapy once a week during a period of nine weeks.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationship between librarians and library support staff in public libraries regarding status, distribution of work and working climate. We were interested to know if there is a conflict between the two occupational groups and how it can be explained. We also wanted to learn what the future holds for the library in terms of professional categories and tasks according to library staff of today. This study is based on twelve qualitative interviews with four heads of libraries, four librarians and four library assistants. Three theoretical approaches were used in the analysis of the interview material: professionalization strategies, conflict theories and theories from group psychology.

The approach that has been used through this study is qualitative, method wise interviews were used. The selection for the study consists of five teachers with many years? experience in the subject of Mathematics.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the personal problems that can occur when defecting from a destructive cult, and what kind of support you may need from social authorities. The aim is to develop guidelines for social workers who are in contact with sect defectors. It?s a qualitative study based on interviews with six defectors from Jehovah?s witnesses. The results shows that all the defectors that have been interviewed have had anxiety problems, lost contact with friends and relatives, low level of education, and low self esteem when defecting or after.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka självkänsla och skillnader i självkänsla mellan män och kvinnor. Studien belyser även hur låg respektive hög självkänsla påverkar individers livskvalitet. Då metoden är både kvantitativ och kvalitativ kan intressanta jämförelser göras mellan resultaten från enkätundersökningen och intervjuundersökningen då de avsåg att studera samma ämnen.Tidigare forskning har indikerat att män har högre självkänsla än kvinnor (McMullin, Cairney, 2004). Den aktuella studiens resultat visade dock ingen signifikant skillnad mellan män och kvinnors självkänsla i enkätundersökningen. Intervjuundersökningen visade att män uppfattar en skillnad mellan könen till männens fördel, detta gjorde dock inte kvinnorna.Enligt Rosenberg (1962) påverkas individers livskvalitet negativt av låg självkänsla.

The aim of this report is to give the reader insight into the development of theweb-based accounting application SuperBooky. Accounting is a complex task thatmany beginner entrepreneurs struggle with. The development of this application wastherefore focused on making accounting as convenient and as easy as possible. Theend product targets small enterprises and its functionality was designed with this inmind.To make sure that the application was designed in a user-friendly way, polls werecarried out among individuals with basic accounting knowledge. The purpose of my work is to investigate the experiences in school for pupils with Asperger syndrome around the question, what is a good school for them. I´m also interested in what experiences the staff has about this question. I made a qualitative interview study. I have interviewed three pupils with Asperger syndrome, a teacher and a pupil assistant. To give the reader background information I have written about what the researchers say about what it is like to have Asperger syndrome.

Under de senaste tio åren har förekomsten av kränkningar online ökat,både för dem som utsätts och utsätter andra för kränkningar online.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om självkänsla ochkänslolösa/känslokalla personlighetsdrag kan associeras med dem somutsätts, utsätter eller både utsätts och utsätter andra för kränkningaronline. Syftet var även att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan attbli utsatt och utsätta någon annan för kränkningar online. För attundersöka detta användes en enkät med sammanlagt 42 frågor ochpåståenden om känslolösa/känslokalla personlighetsdrag, självkänslaoch huruvida de blivit kränkta eller kränkt någon annan online. Urvaletbestod av 99 gymnasieungdomar, varav 41 unga män och 57 ungakvinnor, i åldrarna 16-20 år. Resultaten visade signifikanta sambandmellan självkänsla och känslokalla/känslolösa personlighetsdrag samt desom utsätter och själva blir utsatta för kränkningar online.

This study explores employees subjective experience of their employment relation before and during an outsourcing process and has its starting point in the concept of the psychological contract. Eight employees, in the process of being outsourced, were interviewed. The focus was on ?the employees? individual experiences and stories about the subjective and perceived employment relationship. Data were analyzed using basic qualitative analysis.

The aim of this study was to reach a better understanding of voluntary work and its possible influence on the work role. Based on a phenomenological approach, five voluntary workers from the leisure field were interviewed. The interpretation of the empirical data was based on the Humanistic psychology and its theories about personality, self-realization, motivation and emotion. The results show that the motive behind the voluntary engagement varied amongst the participants and all of them stated more than one motive. However, social motives, wanting to learn more and develop their skills and also wanting to help others, were the most frequent motives among the participants. In the light of the theoretical background for this study, these motives can be understood as being due to the need of self-realization and appreciation from others, and also a wish to reach an ideal self.

När en individ känner tillhörighet till en grupp ökar det individens psykiska välbefinnande, bland annat individens självkänsla. Syftet med denna studie var att se om tillhörighet till det svenska samhället ökade individens självkänsla. Därför undersöktes sambandet mellan tillhörighet till det svenska samhället och självkänsla. Deltagarna var 134 vuxenstuderande, varav 57 svenskar och 77 immigranter. Det fanns ett positivt samband mellan tillhörighet och självkänsla, dock var det ingen skillnad mellan svenskar och immigranter.
