Efterfrågan på digital kartinformation ökar kraftigt. För en kartproducent räcker det inte alltid att bara förse användaren med en papperskopia. Istället efterfrågas ofta en digital kartbild där objekten är kopplade till en databas som användaren lätt kan uppdatera allteftersom informationen förändras. Målet med detta arbete var därför att hitta en metod att datalagra och visualisera stratigrafisk information. I detta arbete har information från gjorda borrningar och seismiska profiler från ett område i Södertälje kommun samlats in och strukturerats på ett sådant sätt att de kan användas i ett GIS-system.

Idag är datorutrustning en central del av många personers arbete. Vissa personer är helt beroende av datorutrustning för att kunna utföra sitt arbete. Om denna datorutrustning havererar kan detta leda till att en anställd person på ett företag inte kan utföra sitt arbete vilket leder till en ekonomisk förlust för företaget. Ett haveri av datorutrustning kan även innebära att viktig data som företaget använder i sin verksamhet kan gå förlorad, vilket kan vara dyrt att återställa.Detta arbete kartlägger hur väl förberedda företag idag är för att minimera de ekonomiska förluster och förluster av data ett haveri av datorutrustning kan innebära.Resultatet av den genomförda intervjuundersökningen tyder på att små företag idag har en relativt dålig framförhållning för att minimera förluster till följd av haveri av datorutrustning. Därtill har guidelines arbetats fram för att vara ett stöd för företag att välja rutiner för att minimera konsekvenserna av ett haveri av datorutrustning.

This essay examines computer and video games and their capacity of being useful in teaching sessions. Focus is being put at a possible pedagogical potential and how it is being expressed in games mechanics. To get answers on these subjects? studies by Professor James Paul Gee and Jesse Schell is used together in creating a model for analysis. This essay aims to study how national tests in the ninth grade are being viewed upon in the Swedish school system. What are the affected people?s thoughts regarding its field of application? For further information about this matter, three different sub studies have taken place. In the first sub study, literature from The Swedish National Agency for Education (SNAE) has been studied and compared to other researches. In the second sub study, pupils who took part in the national tests during the previous year answered a survey about their experiences working with the tests.

I have chosen an action research approach for this essay. The purpose of this study was to examine how social work professionals view their professional role and how they think about the concept of social work. I also wanted to investigate what they believe characterize a professional social work. For the purposes of this study, I chose a qualitative approach in which I interviewed five people linked to the social work. The theories which I have assumed in the analysis of the results are power theory, organization theory and professional theory. The results of this study show that the respondents believe that a professional social work is performed by someone who has training and experience in the field.

This bachelor's purpose is to examine different types of library work directed at theSwedish national Jewish and Romani minorities. The thesis will begin with accounting for thepolitics of Swedish national minorities and of today?s situation for Jews and Romanis in Sweden.We will, to accomplish this purpose, use a three-piece question formulation regarding therespective works of the libraries, as well as the possible benefits that cooperation betweendifferent libraries could bring. The questions are answered in the analysis of four qualitativeinterviews through a model based on Dorte Skot-Hansen's thoughts on the library's different rolesin different understandings of society. The analysis will lead us to a final discussion, in which wewill present our results: that distinct guidelines regarding the national minorities for the publiclibraries are a necessity for Sweden?s fulfilling of the responsibility towards these groups; thatthere is a need for a coordination of the propositions and conventions regarding the nationalminorities in the shape of a substantial legislation; and that this field in the future needs to bethoroughly observed and examined in order to evaluate how the Swedish public libraries meet the needs of the national minorities..

The reason is, inter alia, the increase of weight in the community, but there is also research showing that sugar is harmful to children. With theories of creativity and aesthetic learning processes as a basis, this study explores the usage of the concept of creativity in the curriculum for the Swedish compulsory school (Lgr11) and in the various syllabi?s commentaries and the assessment guidelines for the subject of Sloyd produced by the Swedish National Agency for Education. The purpose of the study is, to examine to which extent an education and assessment that is directed towards the development of creativity among pupils in the subject of Sloyd, is underpinned and supported for in these texts, and furthermore how these wordings relate to the various other subjects? wordings about creativity.
