Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how a bank?s features and internal factors have affected its choice of method in calculating the capital requirement.Theoretical and Empirical Method: The research strategy of this study has been of a qualitative nature with a deductive approach. The choice of method was depth interviews with respondents from a targeted sample of Swedish banks. These respondents were chosen based on the knowledge they possess as key employees in the capital requirement process and their involvement in choosing their banks? method for calculating the capital requirement.

Att genomgå ett ägarskifte är kantat av en mängd komplicerade, Komplexa och Känslomässiga händelser. Att varje ägarskifte dessutom är unikt medför till att en mängd fallgropar finns och kan uppkomma under resans gång. Vi ska i denna uppsats undersöka genomförandet och förekommande fallgropar.Vårt syfte är att få en djupare, översiktlig och enhetlig inblick samt kunskap gällande ämnesområdet. Vidare är syftet att erhålla olika perspektiv från ägarskiftesprocessens genomförande.Uppsatsen lägger fokus utifrån överlåtarens situation och således inte övertagarens. Vidare läggs fokus mot mindre, ägarledda och onoterade företag.Vi har använt en abduktiv ansats med en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att mot bakgrund av en teoretisk förförståelse om Indien och sexhandel undersöka och diskutera hur organisationen Saheli HIV/AIDS Karyakarta Sangh arbetar med kvinnor i sexarbete i Pune, Indien och undersöka hur personalen upplever arbetet. Frågeställningarna tar upp hur organisationen arbetar med kvinnor i sexarbete, hur personalen upplever arbetet och vilka samhälleliga faktorer som påverkar arbetet samt hur detta kan analyseras i förhållande till feministisk teori och empowerment. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie som genomförts med sju respondentintervjuer, observationer samt litteraturstudier. Organisationen arbetar med stödjande insatser för kvinnor i sexarbete såsom kondominformation och -distribution, hjälp med omhändertagande av kvinnornas barn, hjälp till sjukvård och egen bank med villkor anpassade till kvinnornas situation. De arbetar även med information till samhället om sexarbete och dess problematik.

För att öka stabiliteten inombankväsendet så infördes kapitaltäckningsregleringarna Basel I år 1988 och år 2007 uppföljarenBasel II. Den senare antog en mer principbaserad roll och innebar en ökad kontroll och tillsyn avbanker. Det är därför intressant att studera huruvida Basel II har haft någon effekt på redovisningenskvalitet och därmed lett till reducerad earnings management.Syfte: Studiens övergripande syfte är att undersöka effekterna av genomförandet avkapitalregleringen Basel II på resultatposten loan loss provisions och earnings management inomdet svenska bankväsendet. Vidare studeras noterade samt onoterade banker för att utröna om detföreligger en skillnad i dess sätt att hantera loan loss provisions.Metod: För att uppnå syftet med studien så har en kvantitativ metod tillämpats.

Many of today?s societies are built on established financial structures that are controlled by states and central banks. These structures are built on a clear perception of economic systems as established but invisible institutionalised concepts that are operated by millions of organizations worldwide. An idea of counteracting against centralized economies by introducing a currency that no state or bank controlled was developed in the beginning of the 20th century. In 2008 the idea was realised by the introduction of Bitcoin, which is a digital currency and transaction system without any centralized emitter or controlling organ.

Syftet med denna studie är att analysera hur tre banker; Swedbank, SBAB och SEB arbetar med Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) och hur deras kunder påverkas av och relaterar till dess CSR. Sedan framförallt börskraschen 2008, som till stor del skapades av bankers socialt och ekonomiskt oansvariga agerande, så har CSR begreppet ökat något enormt inom bankbranschen. Krisen har både skapats på grund av en avsaknad av CSR samt att CSR nu har blivit en lösning på den. Svenska Bankföreningen som företräder Sveriges banker menar att många svenska banker har kommit långt i sitt arbete med CSR. De beskriver bland annat hur bankerna arbetar med socialt ansvarstagande genom anställningsvillkor samt jämställdhetsfrågor men också hur bankerna jobbar med etiskt ansvarstagande för att motverka mutor och korruption.
