This paper describes the evolutionary development of an information system for a small company. The company performs overhaul of forklifts and cleaning machines. The company has already an information system that handles the reports from these overhauls but it needs a supplementary tool that assist the chief planner to plan forthcoming overhauls.It should be able to display coming overhauls in a timetable and eventually print them, either to a PDF file or to a document. The timetables this function produces will help the chief planner and the assemblers to get a good overview of their day-to-day work.The tool needs to be intelligent in that way that it takes into consideration were in the country different assignments will be performed. So that time consuming travels over great distances can be avoided.

This is an investigation of a mobile prefabrication factory´s competitiveness and profitability which also will result in a suggestion for a design of the factory. The mobile prefabrication factory is an idea of a new concept for production which is meant to be used in the manufacture of slab. The main intention with this concept is that by using a fast established prefabrication factory to produce elements near the construction site, thus avoiding transport from the factory to the building site. This means not only an environmental and economic gain, but also that you can avoid risking damage the elements which often occur during transportation. The contractor is owner of the mobile prefabrication factory and can thus avoid long waiting times and cyclicality.

Bakgrund: De flesta är medvetna om att vi matas med och påverkas av varumärken, men sällan om det arbete som ligger bakom ett varumärkes uppbyggnad. Därför är det av stor vikt vid varumärkesuppbyggnaden att förankra de värderingar som företaget vill positionera sig med. För att i sin position kunna differentiera sig gentemot konkurrenter med ett starkt varumärke måste företaget kommunicera samma värderingar, både i den interna och externa marknadsföringen för. Det finns de som anser att man kan utföra detta genom marknadsföring på två skilda sätt, genom att agera ?marknadsförare? eller att agera ?försäljare? gentemot sina kunder, där ?försäljare? ofta är bättre på att skapa relationer där kunden rekommenderar företaget vidare än en ?marknadsförare?.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine whether hedge funds generate higher risk-adjusted returns than traditional managed funds in Sweden.Methodology: This study was based on quantitative data about the funds historical returns. The funds historical returns were taken from the database Morningstar and the risk-free rate from the Swedish central bank. Random samples of 36 funds have been divided into three portfolios in the form of a hedge fund portfolio, stock portfolio and mix fund portfolio.Result & Conclusion: The study concluded that the stock portfolio has shown the highest average yield for the study period where all portfolios below market index. Hedge fund portfolio has achieved the highest risk-adjusted return calculated by the portfolios Sharpe Ratio. Of all hedge strategies, arbitrage had the highest average return and risk-adjusted returns..

In Sweden the real estate sector accounts for 33 % of energy consumption and just below 10 % of the emission of carbon dioxide. As a consequence of the external pressure from climate change it?s in everybody?s interest to reduce the energy consumption and thus reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. An additional incentive to reduce the energy consumption is the substantial increase of the energy price since the deregulation of the electricity market in 1996.In this study the techniques that exist to build multi-storey residential buildings with high energy performance will be investigated. Further the study intends to investigate the optimal energy performance from a real estate economic perspective.In order to investigate the optimal energy performance a model has been created with the parameters investment cost, rental revenues, operation and maintenance cost, discount rate and investment horizon.The result shows a relationship between a high investment cost and a high energy performance for newly constructed multi-storey residential buildings.

I det här arbetet behandlas ansvarfrihetsgrunder i tanzaniansk och svensk straffrätt. Eftersom ansvarfrihetsgrunder är mycket omfattande i båda straffrätter gör uppsatsen endast inblickar i ansvarsfrihetsgrunder i tanzaniansk och svensk straffrätt med fokus på nödvärnsrätten. Jag valde detta ämne för att få insikt i och förståelse för nödvärnsrätten i två länder med olika historisk juridisk bakgrund. Uppsatsen beskriver hur den historiska bakgrunden till tanzaniansk straffrätt, som bygger på straffrätten i tyska och engelska kolonialmakter, påverkar olikheten. Brottet definieras i båda straffrätter.

In today?s society climate change has grown to one of the largest global issues. To reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, large changes of the energy system are required. An increasingly popular solution is investments in local production of renewable energy resources like wind, solar or geothermal power. The following report examines the possibility for implementing a solar power plant on the new hospital Nya Karolinska Solna. Two different technologies for extraction of solar energy has been studied, solar thermal collectors  to meet the need of heating and solar cells to satisfy the need for electricity linked to operating the hospital building.

Frågeställning: Hur ser bankernas kreditbedömning för små och medelstora företag ut och hur kommer den att förändras i och med införandet av de nya regelverken K2 och K3? Hur resonerar banker vid kreditbedömning när företag redovisar enligt K2 och K3?Vill bankerna styra åt en viss tillämpning eller önskar de rapportering på basis av den löpande bokföringen?Syfte: Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka och analysera bankers kreditbedömning för små och medelstora företag, samt vilken påverkan kreditbedömningen kommer få efter införandet av de nya redovisningsregelverken.Metod: Studien hade en deduktiv forskningsansats och metoden var kvalitativ. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes som datainsamlingsmetod. Empirin analyserades med hjälp av den referensram som blev insamlad under en litteraturstudie och en artikelsökning.Slutsats: Studien visade att kreditbedömningens utgångspunkt är väldigt lika för de undersökta bankerna. Bankernas kreditbedömning har ännu inte påverkats av de nya regelverken K2 och K3 men det kan ändras i framtiden.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka svenska hamnars möjlighet att investera i land­strömsteknik och sedan betala tillbaka investeringen genom försäljning av elektricitet till ankommande fartyg. Studien är en systematisk litteraturöversikt baserad på en sys­tematisk litteratursökning som sedan presenteras i en teoretisk fallstudie. Litteraturöversikten utgår från fem studier som beskriver kostnader gällande utbyggnad av landströmsteknik. Första delen av resultatet består av beräkningar för vad investeringskostnaderna för utbyggnad av landströmsteknik till en enstaka kaj kan uppskattas till. Därefter beräk­nades kostnader för att generera en viss mängd elektricitet ombord och jämfördes med kostnaden för att köpa den från marknätet. Sedermera beräknades en vinstmarginal om elektriciteten säljs för samma pris som den kostat om den genererats ombord i dieselgenerator.

The success of fund saving in Sweden came in 1978 when the government introduced the favorable tax fund savings system. Today funds are the most used form of saving in Sweden, so that it can be calculated that the value of fund savings exceeds 1500 billion SEK. Savers can choose from a variety of funds, the most common being mutual funds. Since many banks offer similar funds it is difficult to know which one has the best fund administrationThe purpose of this study is to examine which of the four biggest banks in Sweden has the best fund administration. The banks are, SEB, Handelsbanken, Nordea and Swedbank.

This report focuses on work schedules in the retail sector, where work schedules are dynamic and change according to the needs and work schedule is a requirement for an effective structure of the work. This structure is important for maintaining a good order and all this is a requirement for a profitable business for both long and short term future. Work schedule also contributes to safety at the workplace. The purpose of this study was to investigate the transfer of knowledge by work schedules. The HRM employee we interviewed worked in Reitan Servicehandel Sverige AB which includes 7-Eleven, Pressbyrån and Shell.

Det har gått tre år sedan revisionsplikten avskaffades för små aktiebolag. Kraven för frivillig revision är högst tre anställda, balansomslutning på högst 1,5 miljoner kronor och en nettoomsättning på högst 3 miljoner kronor. Aktiebolag som uppfyller minst två av tre kriterier under två räkenskapsår i följd har då möjligheten att välja bort revisorn. Detta innebär att de aktiebolag som väljer bort revisorn samtidigt väljer bort den externa parten som ska säkerställa kvalitén i årsredovisningen. En kvalitetsstämpel som används ofta gentemot banker och leverantörer vid kreditbedömning.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the theoretical developments on social entrepreneurship. Our purpose is to create a better understanding of the phenomenon leading to new insights. We have categorized the knowledge of the concept into social economy, social ownership, social innovation and social missions. Drawing from our theoretical review we have chosen four empirical illustrations, Grameen Bank, Wikipedia, Basta Arbetskooperativ, Jörn Hälsogemenskap, and we have shown how these fit into the general description of the social entrepreneur. With help of our illustrations we show that it is complicated to pin point the core of social entrepreneurship as they each have separate structures, innovations, social missions and operate close to different sectors.

Purpose:  The purpose of this paper is that from the physical travel agencies perspective try to see how they perceive their future, knowing that the booking on Internet has increased.Problem: What are the prospects for future development of the physical travel agency? Has the technological development affected the physical travel agency and forced it to change its role and meaning?Method: This paper has a qualitative approach. Interviews have been made with employees on physical travel agencies to try to reach a deeper understanding and thereafter be able to give us an understanding of our problem.Conclusion: The physical travel agency has been given a new role as the employees are no longer seen as sellers but more regarded to as consultants. The travel agency has become more of an information bank than just a shop where travels are being sold. Despite this change, we believe that customers will continue to visit the physical travel agents because of the unique knowledge and services they can provide that Internet not yet can offer.
