Bank- och butiksrån ökade betydligt under 2008 och bankerna vill därför minska kontanthanteringen. Utöver rånrisk skapar, enligt bankerna, kontanter onödiga kostnader såväl påverkar de miljön negativt.Problematiken med kontanthantering inryms i hur bankerna skall kunna minska kontanthanteringen och utifall resterande delar av samhället (så som handeln och konsumenter) även vill minska den?Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera bankernas argument för att minska kontanthanteringen utifrån projektet "Tryggare Kalmar" samt ställa dessa argument mot handelns och konsumentens argument för användning av olika betalningsalternativ.Problematiken innebär ett snurrande ekorrhjul. Bankerna vill minska kontanthanteringen, handeln vill även minska haneringen men anser det vara omöjligt såsom nuläget ser ut och här håller konsumenterna med. Ny problematik dyker upp, vem skall börja med förändringen?.

Regional European Offices with the purpose to represent regions and municipalities in the EU-system have had a substantial expansion over the last years. One example is the North Sweden European Office for the counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, consisting of seven different headmen who are representing both the private sector as well as the public system. This diverse leadership representation makes North Sweden a very good example on a so called Quango, organisations that stand under simultaneous influence from both public and private sectors. These Quangos opens up new possibilities to solve public problems, but they also bring together two different working models which is not always easy to handle for a Quango. According to earlier surveys some characteristic Quango problems within North Sweden exist, for example the ability to prioritize and thereby be as effective as possible.

Mergers and Acuisitions are becoming increasingly common. This can be explained with the fact that the competition is increasing. Therefore many companies are forced to join other markets. This thesis inquires into the process of Mergers and Acqusitions when one company buys another company. The main focus is set on how three different banks handle the process of Mergers and Acqusitions and what results this leads to. These are: Kaupthing Bank, Nordea and Citibank.

Background and problem: Financial reports are created for the users as decision support. Stakeholders are often subjects to information asymmetry. Banks represent one of the primary stakeholders and financiers of a company, and place great emphasis on financial reports in their credit assessment process. The question is, however, how useful the financial information actually is. According to previous research, banks consider accounting information as troublesome in some respects, mostly due to accounting choices and judgments.

Sveaverken is a company who manufactures products and equipment for the modern farm enterprise within grain, pork and horse businesses. A large share of Sveaverken's turnover depends on the role as a subcontractor for Delaval within the areas ventilation, manure handling and feeding systems. Sveaverken wants to investigate the possibility to increase sales by establishing new sales channels, for example e-commerce This thesis is an analysis of the Swedish farmers use of internet, attitudes towards e-commerce and Sveaverken's interest within this area. There is also a minor economic analysis of the cost of establishing the e-commerce site. The study focuses on farmers who are potential customers to Sveaverken within Sweden. To examine the farmers opinions about internet and e-commerce a questionnaire was developed and sent out in November 2006, to 500 farmers of which 45% answered. The results show that the average age of the farmers was 42,5 years.

During the spring semester 2012 Robin Westlund has accomplished ?Controlled interaction for more creative meetings - Summit Flexiwall? with the individual focus on social communication based on visual interaction in future office. The problem being examined is the disturbing noise that is created in an open plan office on a company working with a creative process, such as a newspaper or a communications agency. The purpose of this study was to examine the needs for today for a sound absorber in open offices and create and design a design proposal. The aim is also to develop a marketing material the product proposal. The problem has been broken down into the following questions:- How does the user look at the need of a sound absorber in an open offices solution today?- Does an interior designer apply sound absorbers when they furnish the intended environment? - How can a design that meets the needs that exists be achieved and to speak the user?The study is based on three choice of methods a literature review on selected topics that relate to the topic, an interview with an interior designer to explore how an interior designer applies absorbers in open plan office and finally an extensive survey that treats the user's needs and appropriate appearance for the product proposal.The design process has undertaken the following methods, design brief, requirements specification, functional analysis and sketches to produce the final product proposal.

Syftet med denna studie var att kartlägga hur rådgivares arbetsrutiner och förhållningssätt på en lokal sparbank påverkar relationen mellan bank och kund. För att besvara syftet ställdes tre forskningsfrågor om hur rådgivare: bygger och bevarar relationer: agerar i kundrelationer för att öka lojaliteten: och hur rådgivares relationer med kunder påverkas av arbetsgivarens krav. En fallstudie genomfördes med tre telefonintervjuer med privatmarknadschefen och två rådgivare på Tjörns Sparbank. Studiens resultat visade att rådgivare på en lokal sparbank har stor inverkan i byggandet och bevarandet av kundrelationer. Det visades sig även att rådgivare hade en stor inverkan i kundhanteringen för att öka lojaliteten, vilket är viktigt för att generera lönsamma kunder.

The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the geographical distribution of everyday criminality in the town of Borlänge during the year 2002 and to analyze which measures to be taken in the physical social planning to decrease this everyday criminality there. The term everyday criminality is here to be understood as those categories of crime that appear most frequently in the records of reports to the police every year. Here two kinds of crime have been in focus, thefts from cars and office burglary.In fulfilling this aim two main questions have been answered. The first one is how the everyday criminality was distributed geographically in the town of Borlänge during the year 2002. The second one is which measures to be taken in the physical social planning to decrease this everyday criminality in the town of Borlänge.In order to answer the first question a spatial autocorrelation analysis, Local Moran LISA has been used.
