Banker liksom andra verksamheter möter dagligen risker och det är extra viktigt att förebygga och hantera dessa i en bank då deras viktigaste handelsvara är pengar. Bankerna möter många risker och de mest förekommande är likviditetsrisk, kreditrisk, valutarisk och ränterisk. Hand i hand med dessa risker och övriga går riskhantering, vilken varierar från risk till risk. I och med den pågående finanskrisen är riskhantering i den finansiella verksamheten ett mycket aktuellt ämne som inte bara har påverkat de svenska storbankerna utan hela världen. Syftet med vår forskning är att kartlägga tre av de fyra svenska storbankernas risker och riskhantering samt att söka förståelse för vilka risker som förekommer och hur de hanteras.

During 2008 we experienced an expansion of large scale investments in foreign farmland. This increasing trend has become a political hot-spot, but there is not much research available within the field. Due to a lack of research it remains a vital task to outline the potential effects of this trend. Drawing on existing ideas from some of the main actors within the field, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), The World Bank, International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the latest G8 summit on agriculture, four main purposes are set out for this paper. First, to outline some of the underlying mechanisms behind the trend is considered crucial for the understanding of the nature of these investments.

Due to the growth of multinational concerns during the last decades, with large parts of international trade involving such corporations, the field of transfer pricing, including financial transactions such as internal loans, have received a great deal of attention in tax legislation. The internationally accepted foundation for transfer pricing is the so called Arm's length principle, expressed in Swedish law through the "Korrigeringsregeln". In the Diligentia court case, the concepts of transparency and control were given a crucial role in the calculation of an Arm's length's price of interest rates. The Swedish tax agency interpreted the ruling in that case as if a parent company always can be assumed to enjoy sufficient transparency and control to reduce the risk on their debt obligations. A great deal of uncertainty therefore surrounded their position and to what extent the Diligentia-ruling could be cited as precedent.

Uppsatsen berör kommunikationen mellan de inblandade parterna vid en ombildning från hyresfastighet till bostadsrättsförening. Uppsatsen är skriven utifrån hyresgästernas perspektiv i hur de skall gå tillväga med sättet att kommunicera mot en god och vinstdrivande ombildning. Undersökningen bygger på en kvalitativ metod där vi har gjort djupintervjuer med bank, tidigare hyresgäster som har varit delaktiga i en ombildning samt fastighetskonsulter. Uppsatsen har som problemformulering: Hur skall kommunikationsprocessen genomföras under ombildningens gång för att generera så goda förutsättningar som möjligt mot en god utgång med långsiktig och god ekonomi åt bostadsrättsföreningen och dess medlemmar?.

There are no general working processes that can stand for how all the investment process is preceded in the organization of major Swedish banks. It is not a question of investment process but rather a question of, investment processes. How these investment processes operates depends totally on the type and size of the current investment, which unit that is operating the processes and what situation the bank currently finds itself in. There is a written form that describes how the different processes should be operated and which capital budget models that should be used but the usage of these forms can be questioned.

Vi har undersökt förändringar i de svenska hushållens inlåning i banker under finanskrisens utbrott hösten 2008. Vår uppsats visar att hushållen i större omfattning än tidigare har flyttat sina inlånade pengar under denna period. Både förflyttningar mellan bankerna och från bankkonton till annan typ av sparande har ökat. De pengar som flyttats är framförallt sådana som överstigit insättningsgarantins maxbelopp. Det är alltså risken att förlora pengar som gjort att hushållen agerat på marknaden.

The plants in the genus Elatine are characteristic for oligo and mesotrophic lakes. This study focuses on Elatine hexandra one of the four species in Sweden. It is stated as vulnerable by the National Environment Agency and a conservation plan with guidelines to preserve the plant in Sweden is under preparation. There have been a few previous studies investigating this plant in other countries but this is the first one for Sweden. Several projects have started to use the technology in developing countries because of the benefits with biogas. Some cases in the establishment of biogas plants have succeeded and some have not. The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

Because of this it is unavoidablethat the physical and mental structure of a specific money system will have an effect on thesociety where it is circulating. With this fact as a starting point, the thesis is analysing whetherthe Swedish national currency, the crown, is consistent with a sustainable development. Theaim of the analysis is to: (a) identify the major shortcomings of the infrastructure of the crownin relation to its ability to support a sustainable development, (b) evaluate what possiblesolutions there are at hand to adjust for the shortcomings. Bristen av en klar definition av begreppet medför svårigheter att applicera teorin på strategiarbetet och använda de verktyg som finns att tillgå i befintlig forskning. Nuvarande forskning visar på vikten av intern marknadsföring i alla organisationer, och då främst inom servicesektorn. Studierna som har gjorts är emellertid baserade på sektorer utomlands, vilket innebär svårigheter för svenska banker att tillämpa resultatet inom sin egen organisation, menar författarna. Författarna ämnar därför undersöka intern marknadsföring och dess effekt på uppfattade konkurrensfördelar på den svenska banksektorn och författarna har valt att fokusera på svenska fullsortimentsbanker.

The aim of this study is to examine the fiction promoting role of public librarians through their fiction displays. The study covers three problems: What reasons do public librarians give for their selection of displayed fiction? How do public librarians view fiction displays in relation to other promotion strategies? How do public librarians think that promotion through fiction displays will evolve in the future?The results of the study have been analyzed using Jofrid Karner Smidt?s theory of how public librarians view their promotion of fiction. The concepts used are promotion due to public demand, actively recommending and informative promotion, and through dialogue. To account for the problems investigated in the study, eight librarians have been questioned through semi-structured interviews.
