?Re:Regional? is a diploma work by Sanna Alm and Ylva Hedin, for the Master?s Programme in Spatial Planning presented at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. ?Greater Helsinki Vision 2050 ? International Ideas Competition? was the starting point of this study. The competition was launched the 15th of December 2006 and the closing date was the 31st of May.

Syftet med arbetet är att beskriva och analysera implementering och etablering av Balanced Scorecard inom Primärvården i ett svenskt landsting. Vidare ämnar vi diskutera om och i sådana fall varför styrkortet blivit etablerat inom organisationen. Empirin är hämtad från intervjuer med fyra personer med olika befattning inom Primärvården i Region Skåne. Balanced Scorecard har implementerats successivt i sju år och kan nu sägas vara etablerat inom Primärvården, med undantag av vissa enheter. Etableringen har till störst del påverkats av det sätt Primärvården hanterat typiska implementeringsproblem och omvandlat dessa till framgångsfaktorer..

AbstractThis bachelor thesis has been assigned by the company ACG Nyström, Borås. ACG Nyström is working in cooperation with a Swiss company named Jentschmann AG. Jentschmann is a manufacturer of ultra sonic welding machines which ACG Nyström is marketing in Scandinavia and the Baltic States. On behalf of Jentschmann AG the company has the aim to introduce the ultra sonic welding technique to new companies.The aim of this thesis is to compare traditional sewing machines with ultra sonic welding machines within two textile areas, protective clothing and outdoor living.Two investigative questions have been formulated for this purpose: what are the differences between a sewing machine and an ultra sonic welding machine? Is it possible to replace the sewing technology with ultra sonic welding? These stand as guidance for this paper.To gather knowledge interviews, literature studies, and tests on two different ultra sonic welding machines were performed.

Social sustainability is often regarded as a solution to social problems in general. In this study, on the contrary, social sustainability is conceived as a socially constructed concept and the result of a certain way of looking at the world, the human being and the ideal society. Problemformulering: Hur kan destination Söderåsen utvecklas till att bli en attraktiv destination för lokalbefolkning, turister och turismaktörer?Syfte: Syftet med vår fallstudie är att med Söderåsen som objekt och Svalövs kommun som aktör undersöka hur en destination kan utvecklas samt undersöka hur en infrastrukturell satsning kan bidra till utvecklingen.Metod: Vi har valt att arbeta utifrån en fallstudieansats av kvalitativ karaktär där vi ingående studerar ett fåtal undersökningsenheter vilka baseras på både kvalitativa och kvantitativa primär- och sekundärdata. Vi har gjort ett strategiskt urval, eftersom vi är intresserade av att erhålla en djupare förståelse för vårt undersökningsområde istället för att basera det på kvantiteter. Vi har dock kompletterat denna med en enkätundersökning av kvantitativ karaktär för att få insikt om danskars kännedom om vårt studieobjekt. För att göra vår fallstudie reliabel har vi varit noggranna med att se svaren i sin ursprungliga kontext då sammanhanget är viktigt för att minska risken för missuppfattningar.

Green manuring is a way of creating an organic fertilizer by growing a crop that is mowed down. Besides the fertilizing effect this method has been shown to have a positive influ-ence on soil organic matter as well as weed flora, and green manure is an important me-thod of weed control in organic farming in parts of Sweden. However, the release of nu-trients from the green manure varies and can therefore be difficult to control. Risks for losses of nutrients are also present. Although the area of organic farmland is increasing in Sweden, the use of green manure is decreasing.This report contains a literature study which compiles research on the functions of green manure in a cropping system and also how the crop can be used if harvested, for example to produce biogas.

Sammanfattning I september 2008 fångades 311 juveniler (unga individer) av arten sill (Clupea harengus) in vid fyra olika områden på den svenska västkusten; Råssö, Hunnebo, Askerö- och Gullmarfjorden. Genetiska, kemiska och morfologiska data (längd och vikt) samlades in i syfte att bestämma vilka populationer de härstammade ifrån. Fångster av sill är så gott som alltid av blandat ursprung eftersom individer bara samlas i de populationer de stammar ifrån vid den tid på året då det är dags för parning (lek). I den här uppsatsen klassificerar jag juvenilerna till tre regioner i vilka populationerna ingår, genom att jämföra de data som samlats in från juvenilerna med motsvarande data i en stor databas över populationer i Nordsjön, Skagerrak, Kattegat och Östersjön samt med ytterligare en population, Risør, som inte ingår i denna databas. Data om populationerna kommer från samples och de sanna populationsparametrarna (dvs.

Studies in Sweden have shown that the districtnurses had no time for health promotion. The Swedish government also indicate that there is a lack of health promotion and preventive care in Sweden. The purpose of this study was to describe into which extent the districtnurses in the middle and southwest area of Region Skåne worked with preventive care in their profession and into which extent they documented their achievement. The inquiry was answered by 45 districtnurses about background, present situation, preventive care, secondary prevention, tertiary prevention, health promotion and documentation. Results of this study shows that the districtnurses worked mostly with tertiary prevention.

Rapporten behandlar den designprocess som genomförts under utvecklingsarbetet av en flytväst ämnad för de aktiva sjöräddarna i Svenska sjöräddningssällskapet. Målet med projektet har varit att undersöka sjöräddarnas behov och sedan uppfylla dessa med en ny optimerad flytväst. Den ska innehålla funktioner som förenklar räddningsarbete utan att minska den enskildas säkerhet, den ska ha en identitetsstärkande och för målgruppen tilltalande funktion och design.Projektet syftar till att utveckla befintliga kompetenser inom produktutveckling och komplettera med kunskaper inom sjöräddning och textildesign. Initialt medverkade gruppen i sjöräddningskurser för ökad förståelse och möjlighet att studera fördelar och brister med dagens utrustning. Under arbetet genomfördes intervjuer för att ta del av målgruppens åsikter och önskemål.Omväxlande kreativa metoder tillsammans med kontinuerliga funktionstester hjälpte till att utveckla en väl genomarbetad och fungerande flytväst.

This thesis aims at determining the heat losses in a property vent stack and its roof valve. Upon request of a company, the vent stack is analysed for possible heat recovering solutions to be implemented, while relining of the drain system is executed and with a suitable payback time for the economic investments. The heat loss calculations are based on data for properties that are located in the Stockholm region, but also easy to change depending on the situation. The calculations are done on pipes made out of cast iron, which still is the most common type of drain pipe in Sweden, and these are the pipes that relining is usually made on. The calculations that needed to take several variables into account have been done in MatlabR2014a and the thermos dynamical properties that were used in those calculations have been extracted from EES.Three different types of heat losses in the vent stack have been taken into consideration in this thesis.

Tanken är att aktörerna skall samverka för att uppnå de gemensamma projektmålen. Detta skapar en miljö med ständigt informationsutbyte som förhoppningsvis leder till ett effektivare genomförande. Samverkansentreprenader har ofta en ganska omfattande ledningsorganisation, vilket medför att den blir resurskrävande.

The purpose of this study is to find out how buyers of forest-and farm land have valued the property's various parts. How buyers has valued the forest, field, pasture, house and the farm buildings on their property. A questionnaire with 22 questions was sent to 68 people how had bought a property in Kronoberg or Blekinge. They had bought the property in 2010 and first half of 2011, and the properties have been provided by LRF-konsult. To each question there were several alternatives and the buyers would choose the alternative that was most similar to his or her opinion. The study is based on 57 responses.

A great number of tourists visits each day the Fox Glacier in New Zealand and are subjected todangers such as jökulhlaups. This phenomena can occur suddenly and in a destructive way when abuilt up of water suddenly bursts and releases large amounts of water. This is well known to happen atthe near by Franz Josef Glacier which has similar settings to Fox Glacier, but sparse previous researchon the subject indicates different results of whether jökulhlaups are present or not by Fox Glacier. Thisthesis therefore aims to study the conditions for jökulhlaups at the glacier. This is done by remotesensing and field observations of the sandur in the Fox Glacier Valley, qualitative interviews andliterature studies with a comparison with Franz Josef Glacier.

SammanfattningDetta är en studie av sjuksköterskors bemötande av patienter på Sjukvårdsrådgivningen i Region Skåne. Syftet är att undersöka hur det helhetstänkande som är vanligt förekommande i teoretiska debatter om sjukvården är förankrat i den praktiska verksamheten. Jag fokuserar på bemötande som kompetens, och studerar dess plats och auktoritet i organisationen. Jag undersöker även hur helhetstänkandet praktiskt fungerar i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och patient genom att fokusera på hur kön och sexualitet synliggörs och beaktas i samtalen.Jag utgår från Judith Butlers teori om den heterosexuella matrisen och om hur kön och sexualitet görs genom social interaktion. Jag använder mig också av intersektionalitet som ett analysverktyg.
