Kapaciteter kan vara till stor nytta, bland annat då partiella differentialekvationer ska lösas. Kapaciteter är dock i många fall väldigt svåra att beräkna exakt, speciellt i viktade rum. Vad som istället kan göras är att försöka uppskatta kapaciteterna, vilket för ringar runt en fix punkt kan utföras med hjälp av fyra olika exponentmängder, underline{Q}_0, underline{S}_0, overline{S}_0 och overline{Q}_0, som beskriver hur vikten beter sig i närheten av denna punkt och i viss mån ger rummets lokala dimension.För att kunna dra nytta av exponentmängderna är det bra att veta vilka kombinationer av dessa som kan förekomma. För att få fram nya kombinationer använder vi olika sätt att mäta volym av klot med varierande radier. Dessa mått är definierade genom olika vikter.Det har tidigare funnits ett fåtal exempel på hur olika kombinationer av exponentmängderna kan se ut.

Inför det här arbetet hade vi en tes om att det i manliga omklädningsrum skapas en struktur som talar om vilka värderingar och normer som ska råda. Detta var vi intresserade av att undersöka och med tanke på vårt blivande yrke som lärare valde vi att fokusera på skolmiljön. Omklädningsrummet efter skolidrotten är en plats där elever många gånger är avskärmade från vuxenvärlden. Vi hade en tanke om att detta innebär ett fritt spelutrymme vilket resulterar i en hierarkisk rangordning som ibland leder till ren mobbning. Vårt syfte har mer precist varit att undersöka hur klimatet i skolidrottens manliga omklädningsrum påverkade pojkars normer och värderingar i början på 1990-talet.

The capricious roman goddess Fortune is known for her strong power to influence or even decide the destiny of humans. In ancient Rome she was considered to be a good goddess, who brought the gifts of destiny and who also was seen as a possible ally. During the Middle Ages this position changed. Fortune was given two sides, a good and friendly one and a cruel impenetrable side. She was seen as one of God´s ministers and became an expression of divine providence.My purpose with this essay is to analyse three artworks of Fortune by Giovanni Bellini, Albrecht Dürer and Master MZ, but also some texts by the renaissance humanist Niccolò Machiavelli.

The purpose of this work is to see if the students, on two separate high schools, understand what skills you should achieve after completing the course in physical education and health A 100 points. The entire study is based on a student perspective. In order to best answer the purpose, the questionnaire used in the "available groups" in schools. The questions for the work are: To what extent and how students perceive what they should achieve after completing the course in Sport and Health A?, Which is the goal, based on the curriculum in Physical Education, that students feel are important to achieve? and how do a comparison like between these two schools on the basis of what students perceive that they must achieve in Sport and Health A?The result shows that the main goal that finds support in the course objectives is an assertion; Has knowledge of what to eat to maintain or improve health, which over 90% of students had checked in.

This thesis work is made by Torbjörn Johansson on Karlstad University for Uddeholms AB. The assignment in this thesis work was to investigate tough cutting in three different tool steels: Vanadis 4 Extra, Vancron 40 and Sverker 21. The research was to compare the wear of the tool after cutting in each one of the tool steel alloys. The research was also made to see if the tool cutting in Vancron 40 has a better wear than the tool cutting in Vanadis 4 Extra and also compare the results with Sverker 21. All three of these alloys are a part of Uddeholms AB:s range of products, and is used in applications like forming tools and knife tools. Vancron 40 is a powder steel with a very good combination of mechanical properties like ductility, adhesive strength and hardness.

AimThe aim of this study was to investigate if the Swedish elite soccer teams, both males and females, have preventive strategies to reduce the risk of muscular injuries in the posterior thigh.MethodA survey was created and sent by mail to all (n=28) Swedish elite soccer teams in allsvenskan (both males and females) to be answered by the head of physical exercise within each team. A pilot study regarding the survey was performed by two soccer coaches on elite level and was revised afterwards. The survey was conducted between May through July 2013. In total, 18 soccer teams participated in this survey.Results10 soccer teams did not respond to the survey, which resulted in a drop out of 36%. Preventive strategies to reduce the risk of muscular injuries in the posterior thigh existed in 16 of the teams.

Ett företag som tillverkar hydrauliska snabbkopplingar har genom regelbundna kvalitetsprover upptäckt att vissa låskulor till snabbkopplingarnas låsmekanism plötsligt fått en bristande kvalité och spricker vid belastning. Låskulorna är gjorda av rostfritt stål och har en viktig funktion i låsmekanismen. Om de spricker vid användning kan det leda till konsekvenser med materiella skador eller personskador. Företaget vill förekomma eventuella kvalitetsproblem och måste därför säkerställa att låskulorna har rätt hållfasthet. Låskulorna köps in från en underleverantör och företaget vill därför utveckla en provmetod som provar låskulornas materialegenskaper när de levereras till fabriken.

Bakgrund: Enligt Skolverkets rapport Läromedlens roll i undervisningen (2006) använder lärare i grundskolan läromedel, ofta en lärobok, som huvudsakliga utgångspunkt i planeringen av undervisningen, men även som verktyg i själva undervisningen. I samma rapport framgår att lärare ofta anser att om de bara följer en lärobok säkerställer det att undervisningen följer läro- och kursplaner. Att läroböcker ges en såpass hög legitimitet av lärare skapar intresse av att undersöka om det är lämpligt. Enligt Thomas Englund (2005) skapas läroplaner i en politisk kamp mellan olika ideologier och slutresultatet kan klassas som ideologiskt. Det är därmed av intresse att bedriva forskning inom området och göra en jämförande ideologisk analys av Lgr 11 och läroböcker.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att jämföra ideologin så som den uttrycks i Samhälle i dag 9 (2013) med ideologin så som den uttrycks i Lgr 11.Metod: Utifrån Ball & Daggers (2011) ideologidefinition och med hjälp av centrala begrepp så som demokrati och mångkultur och med stöd i tidigare forskning genomförs en kvalitativ textanalys dels av grundskolans viktigaste styrdokument, samt Samhälle i dag 9 Fokus (2013)Resultat: Analysen visar att läroboken på många punkter följer den ideologi som uttrycks i Lgr 11 men även avviker från den vid ett flertal punkter.

The purpose of this thesis is to, based on interviews and document studies, critically discuss how the introduction of kickboxing in Physical Education (PE) could affect gender equality in society. Based on a queer feminist and norm critical perspective on the prevailing teaching of PE, which, despite official efforts to challenge and modernize PE, persists in reproducing gender norms by e.g. spending 75% of class time on Ball games. The hypothesis is that girls accessing violence (empowerment) through a bodily awareness in the form of kickboxing, positively would challenge the power imbalance that gender norms create. Girls are brought up, even today, in accordance with gender norms arguing against girls/women wanting to use their bodies as powerful tools to set limits.

This thesis has treated a three-axis robot which task is to serve a larger test machine tomove the modules to be tested, from the storage to the test site. The robot is composed ofthree linear actuators; two standard components of Ball screw type and a custom-builtactuator of trapezoidal type. The work has mainly focused on the custom-built device to seeif it could be replaced with a standard component. Part of the work has been to look into thepicking tool and to see if there are any possibilities to improve its function.The report presents two different proposals which I decided to call Robot 1 and Robot 2 andthey aim to address the problems arising in the purpose-built linear unit and the X-axislinearity problems. Robot 1 focuses on eliminating the problems that arise around therobot's X-axis, with such simple means as possible and without making excessive materialchanges.

AimThe aim of this study was to examine the views on bullying in the context of physical education among pupils studying at intermediate level through a gender perspective.The following questions where used in the examination.In what ways does the views on bullying differ between girls and boys?How is bullying manifested during classes in physical education?How do girls and boys experience cross-gender and same-gender bullying?MethodThe study is based upon a survey with questions of both quantitative and qualitative disposition. A total of 210 pupils from areas in and around Stockholm participated in the study, all studying at intermediate level. The participants consisted of 92 girls and 116 boys (two declined). The selection of participating schools where made out of convenience.

This is a thesis for a Bachelor Degree Project, performed in the subject MechanicalEngineering. The students Roger Malmberg and Simon Hagberg have carried out adesign project on behalf of the recently established company J&D Assisting systems,located in Halmstad.The project consisted in developing J&D's first prototype of a power assisting solutionfor wheelchairs. A power assisted wheelchair combines human power, which is deliveredby the arms through the pushrims, with electrical motors, which are powered by a battery.The power assisted wheelchair is aimed at customers, who have used a regularwheelchair for a long time, but who have become weaker or just need additional powerwhen driving uphill. This kind of wheelchair will provide additional power for users,which will spare their wrists, elbow and shoulders. The product is torque sensor free andinstead it relies on the velocity.

The aim of this study was to investigate if behaviour, ear positions and cortisol in lamb which were given access to play followed the different phases of the reward cycle of anticipation, consumption and relaxation. The study was done on 8 Dorset and 12 Dorset x Fine Wool uncastrated male lambs with an average age of 10 weeks. The lambs were housed pairwise in litter pens (2 x 3 m). Pairs of lambs were taken to a play arena (5.9 x 5.5 m) three times a week during five weeks (first week for learning). They were then first kept in a holding pen where they could look into the play arena for 5 minutes and thereafter released for 20 minutes in the play arena which had a Ball, two chains and a tunnel.

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create a product in the form of a database that can be used for cost estimates of equipment within bio refineries. Through interviews and literature searches the key components and their costs were identified. The database was constructed in Microsoft Excel with different tabs for different categories of components; these tabs are further divided into three parts: one part with costs, one part with calculations and an information part. Most of the part with costs contains the expenses found in scientific papers during the literature study, the calculating part converts different capacities according to user preferences and the currency to euro (?) from 2010 and the information part consists of references and information about what is included in the cost.The database is a good tool for making cost estimates for bio refineries.
