The aim of this study is to describe how nature is portrayed in swedish poet and critic Aase Berg?s two earliest poetry collections, Hos rådjur (1997) and Mörk materia (1999), and how it relates to notions of humanity, culture and civilisation. The concept of ?nature? is problematized in a short survey of how it has been used by and critizised in ecocritical literary theory, which is used as the main theoretical framework for this survey, with an emphasis on selected theoretical concepts by Donna Haraway. As a methodological starting point, ?nature? is tentatively defined as ?that which does not let itself be subsumed under the human, culture or civilisation?, and this definition is contrasted with how the concepts are handled in the texts.The investigation shows that the relationship of nature to the human is a fundamental theme that provides a structure for both poetry collections.

Background: In scientific literature there are various treatment programs for people with alcohol dependence described, however, are psychosocial factors that promote recovery process described to a limited extent.Purpose: To describe the psychosocial factors that promotes recovery from alcohol dependence.Method: Literature study of ten scientific articles, published between 1999-2011 with both qualitative and quantitative design.Results: According to the literature, the recovery process can be considered to begin when a person with alcohol dependence reached his personal rock bottom. The longer the recovery progresses, the greater are the overall level of performance. Social support is described as an important factor to prevent relapse and reduce the need for professional help. Self-belief and support of self-help groups are described as important to maintaining sobriety. Social support and influence from family members was related to increased ability to analyze and assess their situation during the recovery.

ILS iteratively samples local minima by modifying the current local minimum and restartinga local search porcedure on this modified solution. This thesis will show how ILS can be implemented for MSA.

Avfall Sverige äger två certifieringssystem: SPCR 120 Biogödsel och SPCR 152 Kompost. Dessa två certifieringssystem används för att certifiera biogasanläggningar och kompostanläggningar. Certifieringen säkerställer att biogödseln respektive komposten har en hög kvalité och kan användas inom till exempel jordbruk. Certifieringssystemen har varit i bruk sedan 1999 och har än så länge resulterat i åtta certifierade biogasanläggningar och tre certifierade kompostanläggningar. Det är SP Sveriges Tekniska Forskningsinstitut som genomför besiktningarna ute hos de olika anläggningarna samt ansvarar för utfärdandet av certifikaten.Denna rapport föregicks av en inläsning på certifieringsreglerna SPCR 120 Biogödsel och SPCR 152 Kompost, samt genomgång av samtliga besiktningsrapporter från 2005 och framåt.

Diabetes typ 2 är en folksjukdom som ungefär 300 000 svenskar är drabbade av. Sjukdomen kryper allt längre ner i åldrarna och i framtiden räknar forskarna med att betydligt fler kommer att vara drabbade, till följd av en osundare livsstil. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka och beskriva hur patienter med diabetes typ 2 upplever sin vardag samt vilka strategier de använder för att klara av denna. De frågeställningar som formulerades för att få svar på syftet var: Hur upplever patienter med diabetes typ 2 sin vardag som kroniskt sjuk? Vilka copingstrategier har patienter med diabetes typ 2 för att klara av sin sjukdom? Metoden som användes för att finna svar på dessa frågor var en litteraturstudie.

Teori och praktik är två begrepp som inte bör ses skilda åt. Teorin ligger som grund för praktiken och vice versa. Lärarutbildningen på Högskolan Kristianstad ämnar tydliggöra vetenskapens roll i utbildningen samt kopplingen mellan de teoretiska studierna och det praktiska utövandet av yrket, vilket även står i regeringens proposition 1999/2000:136 Den nya lärarutbildningen. Ambitionen är att studenter efter genomgången utbildning ska vara utrustade med ett reflekterande tankesätt och vara beredda på att förändra den skolvärld de möter, inte anamma rådande kultur. Men hur uppfattar lärarstudenterna att detta syfte uppnås? Genom en kvalitativ studie i form av enkäter och intervjuer framgår att kopplingen är otydlig och att studenterna på Högskolan Kristianstad säger sig sakna viktiga delar.

The purpose of this study was to analyze two local tourism related organizations in Umeå and how they used the marketing method Storytelling. The aim of this study was to examine what kind of stories the tourism related organizations were using, what these stories said in a direct, or in-direct way and how the reception was of the stories and the destinations. A qualitative study in the form of a discourse analysis based on Laclau and Mouffe's view on discourse analysis was conducted. The results of this study shows that storytelling is more effective when it is incorporated in the whole destination/organization when it comes to tourism related organizations and destinations. It also shows that storytelling in itself isn't only an innocent and positive tool and can cause negative feelings if used wrongly for an organization/destination.

This master thesis has been carried out on behalf of Stoneridge Electronics AB and is an investigation ofhow intelligent switches can replace the traditionally used direct controlled switches. The concept ofintelligent switches is that the switches contain electronic identification components which, by connectingthem to a network, give the same function independent of the location of the switch. This infers anincreased flexibility and configurability which can be a great advantage in development, production andcustomization in the commercial vehicle industry. Especially in the current situation when commercialvehicle manufacturers provides more and more functions and dashboard configurations.LIN (Local Interconnect Network) is a network protocol introduced in 1999. It is a simpler and lower costcomplement to CAN (Controller Area Network) and is adapted for applications where the demands forbandwidth are lower, for example reading sensors and switchers.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur patienter med cancer upplevde att vårdas palliativt i hemmet samt vilket behov av stöd de hade. Litteratursökningen genomfördes på databaserna Blackwell Synergy, PubMed och Elin. Artiklarna skulle vara publicerade mellan åren 1999 och 2007. Granskningen av artiklarna genomfördes med hjälp av en modifierad mall av Willman, Stoltz och Forsberg, Wengström. Urvalet resulterade i elva kvalitativa och sex kvantitativa artiklar.

Utvecklingen av medborgare samt företags användande av Internet har ökat dramatiskt under de senaste fem åren. Det ökande Internetanvändandet ledde till att statskontoret 1999 fick i uppdrag av regeringen att ta fram olika förslag samt underlag som skulle ligga till grund för begreppet 24-timmars myndigheten. Tjänsten är beräknad att tas tillbruk i Sverige år 2005. 24-timmars myndigheten kommer tillämpa ett antal olika säkerhetslösningar, därav elektronisk signering. Denna utredning skall belysa hur stort inflytande säkerhetslösningen elektronisk signering kommer att ha på användaracceptansen av denna tjänst.
