Fler människor lever allt längre idag än tidigare vilket ökar andelen sköra äldre i befolkningen. Sköra äldre personer har nedsatt autonomi och har ofta stort omvårdnadsbehov. Det har visat sig att många sköra äldre personer har nedsatt munhälsa och ökat tandvårdsbehov, vilket kan leda till stort fysiskt och psykiskt lidande. Det reformerade tandvårdsstödet infördes år 1999 i Sverige vilket innebar uppsökande verksamhet för att fånga upp äldre, sjuka och funktionshindrade med behov av tandvård. Det finns tecken som tyder på att denna reform inte nått ut i den utsträckning det var tänkt samt att vårdpersonal har bristfällig kunskap på området munhälsa.

Syftet med vår studie är att studera förhållandet mellan analytikernas prognosvarians och variansen i aktieavkastning i nära anslutning till rapportsdagen. Vi ämnar också studera effekten av analytikernas uttalanden på företagens aktiekurser. Därmed undersöker vi indirekt hur marknaden som helhet utvecklas med koppling till analytikernas vinstprognoser. Vi använder en kvantitativ studie, där vi genom regressionsanalys undersöker sambandet mellan analytikernas prognosvarians och variansen i aktieavkastning i nära anslutning till rapportsdagen. Vidare användes ?Event study? metoden och finansiell marknadsdata för att möjliggöra undersökningen.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur datorn kan användas i de tidiga skolåren, och då framför allt vid läs- och skrivundervisningen. Vi ska även undersöka vilka bakomliggande faktorer som kan påverka hur datorn används som pedagogiskt redskap i undervisningen. I forskningsbakgrunden redogörs för tre olika metoder för läs- och skrivinlärning. Vidare beskrivs två olika projekt, där fokus legat på läs- och skrivinlärning via datorn. För att få en förförståelse för projekten redogörs det även för skillnaden mellan eleven som konsument eller producent, ordbehandlingsprogram och pennan som skrivverktyg samt samspelet vid datorn.

The aim of this thesis is to use the bibliometric method author cocitation analysis (ACA) and investigate the cognitive structure in a research field, which is called the intellectual base. The research field in this investigation is social psychology. The main question is: what is the nature of the cognitive structure, which contains of the intellectual base. This question is divided in two sub questions: ? Which are the most prominent authors in the research field? ? Which sub areas, based on groups of the most cocited authors in the research field, can be identified?An investigation with ACA is used to describe the general experience of consensus of later authors in a research field.

The aim of this thesis is to see if adult education have changed in educational association of the Swedish Labour Movement ABF, and the temperance movement IOGT/NBV. We have chosen to study five periods and analyse these after four ideal of education. These are the ideals of self-education, polytechnic education, neo-classic character-moulding education, and citizenship education. We have studied the reports of the activities of the organisations during the years and the writings of anniversary. The analysis shows that the two popular movements have gone from an adult education where the ideal of citizenship education to an ideal of neo-classic character-moulding education was dominating.

Vi har valt att undersöka den pågående generationsväxling som sker på arbetsmarknaden, den äldre generationen börjar nu gå i pension och den yngre generationen börjar i allt högre grad röra sig in på arbetsplatserna. Ämnet har länge legat till grund för forskning och det har förutspåtts att de stora pensionsavgångarna skall leda till stor arbetskraftsbrist. Detta är inget som vi ser på dagens arbetsmarknad utan det är istället arbetslösheten bland unga som är det mest framträdande. Forskning om det förmodade generationsskiftet har länge vart aktuellt, men verkar nu börja närma sig i och med att pensionsavgångarna beräknas tillta. Samtidigt som de yngre årskullarna börjar minska i antal.

Då arbetslösheten under lång tid varit ett problem inom EU:s medlemsstater har sysselsättningspolitiken fått en allt större plats i EU:s arbete. Med Flexicurity som ledord avser man att öka både flexibiliteten och arbetstagarnas trygghet på arbetsmarknaden. Som ett led i detta arbete ingick arbetsmarknadsparterna ett ramavtal som antogs genom beslut av Europeiska rådet och mynnade ut i Rådets direktiv 1999/70/EG av den 28 juni 1999 om ramavtalet om visstidsarbete undertecknat av EFS, UNICE och CEEP (visstidsdirektivet). Direktivet riktas till visstidsanställningar och har två syften. Dels att säkerställa att principen om icke-diskriminering omsätts i praktiken och dels att förhindra missbruk av upprepade visstidsanställningar.Med anledning av Sveriges implementering av visstidsdirektivet genomfördes ändringar i lagen (1982:80) om anställningsskydd (LAS).

Purpose: The purpose of this work is to investigate teachers' professional attitude to homework as a method. The study will also provide answers to the purpose for which the homeworks are used in teaching and if the individual circumstances and needs are met by this method.Method: Qualitative research was conducted through interviews with four teachers from three different schools. In addition, published surveys were used in support of reasoning.Results: Neither the curriculum or the syllabus mentions homework. There are no directives for how much time should be dispensed with and the extent of a homework should be. In teacher training literature the homework is not discussed.

Uppsatsens syfte är att förklara drivkrafterna som påverkade utvecklingen av den svenska marinen under åren 1999 - 2004. För att ta reda på svaret studeras utvecklingen och det politiska beslutsfattandet genom två olika perspektiv, avsikten är att ta reda på vilket perspektiv som har bäst förklaringskraft. Perspektiven baseras på två olika statsvetenskapliga förklaringsmodeller, som är hämtade från Graham Allisons Essence of Decision, Förklaringsmodellerna i denna uppsats kallas, det rationella aktörsperspektivet och det interna maktkampsperspektivet.Sammanfattningsvis kan konstateras att försvarsbeslut 2000 resulterade i en omfattande reducering av marinens organisation och har även haft stor påverkan på hur marinen ser ut idag. I undersökning framgår det hur komplex processen runt politisk beslutsfattning är. Flera olika påverkansfaktorer som ekonomi, försvarsgrensrivalitet och det politiska spelet har betydelse för slutresultatet.

I boken Patterns of Democracy (1999) påvisar Arend Lijphart att tio institutionella variabler fångar variansen mellan majoritets- och konsensusdemokrati längs två separata dimensioner. Den första dimensionen ? exekutiv-partisystem ? behandlar fem olika arrangemang av den exekutiva makten, parti- och valsystem samt organiserade intressen. Den andra dimensionen ? enhetsstat-federalism ? behandlar den institutionella kontrasten mellan enhetsstat och federa-lism.

The aim of this study is to investigate into the use of discussions in the classroom to help the pupils develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and operations. The empirical data contain interviews with two teachers and observations from their lessons. The purpose of the interviews was to find out what importance the teachers ascribed to the ability of their pupils to talk about mathematics, and how they organised their classes to encourage mathematical discussions. With the observations, I was able to see the interaction in the classroom and hear discussions between the teacher and the pupils, as well as between the pupils themselves.The interviewed teachers proved to share my own belief in the results of researchers like Malmer (1999) and Löwing (2006) about the importance of verbal discussion, argumentation and reflection during mathematics classes. But convictions derived from the research of others are one thing, the practical application of the wisdom in the classroom another.

 This study is made, on behalf of Västerbottens Fotbollsförbund, with the purpose to investigate how the 2008 financial crisis have affected the sponsorship to the voluntary sports sector in the Västerbotten region, with focus on the womens elite football teams. The background of this study was to investigate the effect of the financial crisis to help the voluntary organizations in the future. The study was carried out with a qualitative approach as depth interviews with ten people representing both the voluntary organizations and the sponsoring companies, which one was a previous sponsor. To understand and interpret the result of the interviews we used models such as the stakeholder model, the A-ERIC model and a communication model for sponsorship from literature such as Donaldson and Preston (1995), Mitchell et. al.

In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective issound reduction and laws about sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

The problem partly consists of estimating the demand at an IPO and also to accurately value the business in comparison to the market. To set the price per share is problematic, since the company carrying out the public offering wants to optimise the amount of capital at the same time as they want the share to be subscribed in full. If the IPO would not be carried out, it could cause harm to the position of the underwriters. Purpose: To investigate whether underpricing exists associated with IPO:s on the Swedish market during the period 1995-1999.
