This thesis focuses on the testing activities at the stages of development and change regardingintegration brokers. The study aimed to examine the overall challenges that exist regarding thetesting activities within this context, and the thoughts towards the development method testdrivendevelopment (TDD). TDD emphasizes high level of test coverage and where the testprocess is well integrated with the development process. To seek answers to our question weapplied qualitative interviews with companies and respondents to try to understand the globalchallenges that are related to this work and processes. The main conclusions presented in thisstudy is that the overall challenges are involving and educating project participants in the testingprocess activities and the contributory effect test have on the end product.

Reducing the CO2-pollution, resulting from the combustion of fossil coal for energyproduction, is important to affect environmental changes. One way to achieve a reductionis to use the oxy-fuel technology. The technology uses O2 and re-circulated flue gasduring the combustion which results in a flue gas mainly consisting of CO2. The flue gascould then be compressed and stored without environmental effects. A problem thatfollows from the compression is the risk of acidification in sensitive parts of the process.Acidification can occur because of reactions following from the contact of condensedwater and sulphur- and nitrogen-oxides which are also present in the flue gas.This report compiles and evaluates the basis of a scientific unit with the purpose ofexploring the possibilities of extracting impurities of SOx and NOx from the flue gases.The dimensions of the unit are based on basic conditions, defined for an existing oxy-fuelprocess at Chalmers, and on the results of computer modelling.

The potential of information technology as a means to invigorate democratic practise is constantly under discussion. Regardless of the differing opinions as to the most suitable way to utilise IT, there are certain democratic core values that have to be considered. One of these is freedom of information, defined by us as the right of every citizen to seek, obtain and express information. The aim of this study is to explore whether the use of IT as a means to enhance democracy can strengthen the citizens right to freedom of information. As an instrument for analysis we use an article by Jan van Dijk, professor of communication science.

I detta examensarbete redogör vi hur vi har tillverkat ett koncept på hur en styrmodul för ett distribuerat styrsystem till en hydrauldrift kan se ut. Arbetet har utförts i samarbete med Hägglunds Drives AB, där en ny typ styrsystem håller på att tas fram för att passa deras senaste driftsystem Gemini. Vårt mål har varit att först göra en undersökning vad modulen ska innehålla, dess utformning och till sist även bygga en fungerande prototyp för visning, testning och utvärdering. På vägen har vi även ritat och tillverkat egna kretskort, skrivit programvara för modulen, samt för hand tillverkat modulen. Vi har också lärt oss att vara mycket noggrann vid framförallt kretskortstillverkningen, då minsta fel kan få stora konsekvenser.

It is not a question of investment process but rather a question of, investment processes. How these investment processes operates depends totally on the type and size of the current investment, which unit that is operating the processes and what situation the bank currently finds itself in. I fumingverket på Rönnskärsverken utvinns zinkklinker ur slaggen från elugnen. En annan råvara är stålverksstoft. I fumingugnen omvandlas smältans zink- och blyinnehåll till metallånga som oxideras till ett stoft. Stoftet renas i en klinkerugn. Slutprodukten, zinkklinker, som består av 70 - 75 % zink, exporteras till zinksmältverket Norzink i Norge.

Systemutveckling har på senare år rört sig mot allt mer flexibla metoder för att bedriva utveckling, ett agilt förhållningssätt vid systemutveckling i dagens IT-bolag är inte alls ovanligt. I takt med förändring av tillvägagångssättet har även ett moment inom testningen fått allt mer fokus: Testautomatisering. Vissa författare hävdar till och med att det inte går att bedriva agil systemutveckling utan att införa testautomatisering. Syftet med uppsatsen är därför att undersöka vilka utmaningar en testare inom de agila metoderna stöter på vid testautomatisering. Detta utförs med hjälp av intervjuer på fem olika företag av fem olika testare där de alla har en gemensam nämnare, att de jobbar agilt..

Denna rapport återger arbetsprocessen kring att utvärdera datalagringsstruktur och förbättra prestanda för generering av parameterfiler för kortterminaler. Arbetet utfördes på plats hos Esplanad AB, ett företag som bland annat arbetar med säkerhetslösningar och distribution av inställningar för betalstationer.Uppgiften bestod av att utvärdera möjligheter till att förbättra databasen som sparar alla inställningarna för betalsystemen, samt att förbättra kodstruktur och prestanda för programmet som genererar filerna.Rapporten beskriver testning av prestanda, både på Esplanads gamla program för att generera parameterfiler och det nya som konstruerades. En lösning presenteras som inkluderar förbättring av filgenereringens prestanda och en ny struktur på databasen för ökad skalbarhet.Tester visar att det nya systemet klarar av att skapa parameterfiler på TLV-format ungefär 16 gånger snabbare. Den föreslagna lösningen implementerar parallella processer och replikering av databasen..

Då det köptes in ny utrustning för kalibrering av värmestrålningsmätare till SP, Brandteknik, fanns det ett önskemål om att effektivisera proceduren vid kalibreringen. Vid kalibrering med den befintliga hård- och mjukvaran finns många manuella moment som skulle kunna reduceras.I detta projekt har ett styrprogram utvecklats i programmeringsspråket LabVIEW. Programmet använder ett seriellt kommunikationsprotokoll för att styra den kontroller som reglerar temperaturen i kalibreringsugnen. Programmet ställer in de temperaturnivåer som ska ingå i kalibreringen, upp till tio stycken, och kontrollerar när temperaturen har stabiliserat sig. När den gjort det tas ett antal mätpunkter ut och sparas till en resultatfil.

Denna uppsats behandlar rapportering av IT-incidenter. Mer specifikt har jag undersökt vilka rutiner som behövs för att organisationer på ett bra sätt ska kunna rapportera incidenter till Sitic, Sveriges IT-incidentcentrum. Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att rapporteringen till det relativt nya Sitic har varit trögstartad. Jag har undersökt vilka rutiner som bör finnas hos de rapporterande organisationerna och hos Sitic för att få till stånd ett effektivare samarbete. Resultatet har visat på att det finns brister i en del rutiner på båda sidor av förhållandet.

I studien, vilken omfattade 177 svenskfödda studenter, utvecklades och kontrollerades enegenkonstruerad enkät: SAPS. Även könsskillnader i fördomar mot okända personers etnicitetoch kön samt könsskillnader i Social Dominance Orientation (SDO) undersöktes. Fördomarmättes med SAPS och SDO mättes med en svensk översättning av SDO scale (Pratto et al.,1994). SDO scale användes också som validitetskontroll av SAPS. Statistisk prövning medSpearmans Rho visade på en negativ korrelation mellan SAPS och SDO scale.

Det här examensarbetet består i ett produktutvecklingsprojekt som utfördes i samarbete medLiquid Biopsy AB. Syftet med arbetet var att utveckla ett engångskassettsbaserat produktsystem baserat på företagets patentsökta metod för isolering av cancer celler i suspension, inklusive cirkulerande tumörceller. Liquid Biopsy AB är ett svenskt utvecklingsbolag som baserat på ny och unik teknik, är oberoende av proteinmarkörer, använder cirkulerande tumörceller och andra suspenderade tumörceller för att möjliggöra bättre och billigare cancerdiagnostik.Examensarbetet har fokuserat på utvecklingen av engångskassetten, men parallellt arbete har även utförts med tillhörande basenhet. Ulrich och Eppingers produktutvecklingsprocess har utgjort grunden för den process som följts i arbetet, dock med ökat fokus på testning och utvärdering. För att få en bredare kunskapsbas inleddes arbetet med en marknads- och omvärldsanalys samt informationsinsamling om utmaningar och medicintekniska krav.
