The aim of this study is to understand which strategies helped women escape honourbased violence, by reading the Autobiographies of seven women. Honourbased violence is a relatively new problem in Sweden, but it has existed for a long time. According to FN (2012) 5000 women are murdered every year in the name of honour. Honourbased violence is about maintaining the honour of the family. Womens sexuality is connected to men´s honour, and because of that they are not allowed to express it.

Every year about 30000 people have a stroke. It is caused by either a bleeding or a blood clot, and depending on where the damage is, the patient can get different types of difficulties following after the stroke. About 40 % of all stroke patients sufferfrom some kind of speech and/or communication difficulty, like aphasia or dysarthria. As hospital staff it´s important to know how to communicate with these people, to get a deeper understanding regards their needs.Aim:The aim of this study is to out of a patient's perspectivedescribeexperiences ofcommunication difficulties that can follow after a stroke.Method:A content analysis with a qualitative approach was used to analyse five Autobiographies.Results:The result showed in what way stroke patients experienced their communication difficulties, and how they felt about the hospital staffs treatment related to their communication difficulties. During the analysis two major themes emerged: suffering and wellbeing.

The aim of this study was to describe and understand how individuals in adulthood experienced a childhood with neglect, and how they handled neglect. In order to reach the perspective of the individuals who grew up with neglect, we chose to use autobiographical books as our empirical material. The criteria the Autobiographies had to meet in order to fall within the scope of this study was that the biographies had to display the experience of neglect during childhood, and thereto the books had to be written by individuals who themselves experienced neglect. Based on the aim of this study we sought answers to three questions: How do the individuals describe their upbringing with a mentally or socially disabled parent? How have the individuals coped with the neglect they?ve been exposed to? What consequences have the neglect supposedly led to? The findings of this study show that the extent to which the individuals experienced neglect were profound and comprising.

Crime Prevention Council has determined that eight percent of all complaints involving domestic violence in 2010, reported by men over 18 years. You can only speculate on how large number of unreported cases is among abused men. The international studies highlight that the abused men feel ashamed of having been subjected to violence by a female partner.I have been based this essay on two theoretical premises, Per Isdal theory of "violence perspective" and Elaine Bergqvist's definition of the suppression technique.The study was conducted through a qualitative content analysis.

Background: People who is close to patients suffering from incurable diseases experiences both suffering and grief. It is hard to be there for someone and at the same time handle your own grief. This can create feeling of anxiety, stress and guilt. Problem: Near related persons might not accept the further loss of someone near, the hope remains until it is final. They may not know the whole width of the situation, not acknowledge to the patient or himself how it is going to end.

This study intends to illuminate women?s experiences of their own self-harm. Self-harm is mostly associated with women and research shows that women mostly are over-represented. This study describes women?s experiences about their self-harm but also how they perceive the elements around them during their illness.

Bakgrund: Ätstörningar är den tredje vanligaste sjukdomen i västvärlden bland unga kvinnor efter astma och fetma. Av de personer som drabbas utav Anorexia Nervosa avlider drygt 10 % till följd av sjukdomen. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att vårdas för sjukdomen Anorexia Nervosa. Metod: Denna studie genomfördes med en kvalitativ metod och en narrativ analys. Datainsamlingen grundades på fyra självbiografier, skrivna av kvinnor som hade drabbats av och vårdats för Anorexia Nervosa.

Bakgrund: Anorexia Nervosa (AN) är en allvarlig psykisk sjukdom som främst drabbar unga kvinnor. Till följd av extrem matvägran och ökat behov av motion svälter sig dessa individer och får allvarliga rubbningar i flertalet organsystem. Syfte: Metod: Studien baseras på en kvalitativ studie med en narrativ ansats, där fem stycken självbiografier har sammanställts enligt narrativitetsanalys av Dahlborg- Lyckhage (2012). Resultat: Resultatet formas utifrån tre kategorier, (1) Att inte hitta sig själv i sin sjukdom, (2) Känna maktlöshet när ångesten styr, (3) Ta paus från anorexin och våga vara sig själv. Diskussion: Tonåren är en tid då identiteten formas och steget ifrån att ha varit barn till att bli vuxen ökar, vilket kan ha en bidragande orsak till att AN utvecklas.
