In this thesis I have investigated four housing corporation?s information about garbage disposal for their tenants (primarily immigrants who just arrived to Sweden).   Interviews with renters, employees of the housing corporations and employees of Eskilstuna Energi och Miljö indicates that the garbage information need to be improved to be better adapted to the target group.    To solve this information problem I decided to create an information chart, consisting of illustrations and legible text which informs the renters of how and, above all why it is important to recycle.   The aim of the project is also to increase the renters? commitment and motivation in recycling and also; make the housing corporations, other organizations and authorities aware of how important it is to adapt information to different kind of groups. Problem The culture sector is characterized by qualitative goals which raise questions such as how do you measure culture and what is ?good? culture? Both the goals and the measurements tend to result in subjective judgments, which according to the theory make result control inefficient. Yet, result control is frequently used in the culture sector; which leads up to our research question: What characterizes the problems of result control in the culture sector?Purpose The aim of this study is to make a survey of how the Gothenburg Opera works with result control and follow-up. By defining how it tackles the different problems, which could arise with result control in a non-profit organisation, we aim to map how the problems regarding result control are characterized in the Gothenburg Opera.

This essay focus on three companies within the MSAB group. All companies have shown an incredible share price development since MSAB´s initial investment and ownership. The companies has been examined from the CEO´s perspective to map out similar factors of success. This report documents the development of a software system for automaticscheduling called Hazel. This system is comprised of a server where an automaticscheduler has been implemented, as well as a web and mobile applicationthat allows users to interact with the system. The scheduler hasbeen developed with the functional programming language Haskell and usesa SAT-solver.Manual scheduling has long been the bane of managers everywhere, asmatching the needs of the employer with those of the employee is often adifficult and time-consuming task. There already exists several automaticschedulers that attempt to solve this problem. The issue with said schedulersis that thay tend to be expensive, or developed to only fulfill the needsof a particular organisation.

In Sweden in January 2005, there is only one producer of organic broilers and none of organic turkeys. But there are, on the other hand, a few small-scale producers whose housing systems to some extent are similar to what is stipulated in the organic standards. The aims of this work are to investigate what housing systems are used by the Swedish small-scale producers of broilers and turkeys, what main challenges they are confronted with and if there is an interest and a possibility for a change-over to organic production. For the first part of this work a literature study was performed with the purpose of detecting the main health problems in conventional as well as smallscale production. A special focus was on coccidiosis and leg weakness as those were considered to be of particular importance. A study was made of Swedish small-scale poultry production units. In two groups of broilers from the same producer and in three flocks of turkeys the level of Eimeria oocysts in faeces and litter was investigated.

The private sewage systems in Sweden releases around 600 tons of phosphorus per year, compared to about 350 tons from municipal sewage treatment plants, and they account for approximately 21% of the total anthropogenic discharge of phosphorus into Swedish waters. About 40% of Sweden's nearly 1 million private sewage systems are inferior with respect to emissions to surface and groundwater. The technology of small sewage plants is under development and knowledge of treatment effects for different solutions is poorly consolidated. Municipal authorities lack resources to keep up with the technologic development and assess the reliability of the treatment performances that suppliers report for their products. The thesis aims to conduct a market review and evaluation of wholly or partially prefabricated small sewage plants, to make it easier for municipalities and property owners to assess different technical solutions. The goal is a compilation of the products on the market, evaluated on the basis of the reliability of specified degrees of reduction.Information on sampling procedures and test results were collected through a questionnaire to all active suppliers and the responses were then used to classify the products.

Concept Development and Experimentation (CD & E) är en utvecklingsmetod som idag inryms inom FM. Idén är att den skall bidra med ett metodiskt arbetssätt för framtida utveckling av organisationen. Ambitionen är att tillämpa metoden inom olika delar av hela FM utvecklingsprocess. När CD & E lanseras som det nya sättet att bedriva utvecklingsarbete infinner sig frågan: - Hur har vi historiskt utvecklat förmågor och i vilken mån tar CD & E hand om tidigare erfarenheter från genomförda organisations- och metodförsök (OMF)? Finns det en spänning mellan CD & E och tidigare arbeten med OMF, eller stödjer de olika delar av utvecklingen? Elevdokumentationen i skolan är omfattande, bland annat genom att individuella utvecklingsplaner för skolans samtliga elever skrivs och för elever i behov av särskilt stöd ska ett åtgärdsprogram upprättas. I denna studie problematiseras texter i åtgärdsprogram.Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och få en fördjupad förståelse av hur beteenderelaterade problem beskrivs i form av texter i åtgärdsprogram för flickor respektive pojkar och vilka pedagogiska åtgärder som föreslås på de olika nivåerna organisations-, grupp- och individnivå.För att undersöka fältet används den kvalitativa metoden och textanalys som metodansats. I studien ingår 18 åtgärdsprogram för årskurs 6-9 i tre olika kommuner vid tre kommunala skolor.Studiens resultat visar att det teoretiska perspektiv som dominerar inom problembeskrivningarna är det kategoriska, där individen ses som bärare av problemen. Något som även tidigare forskning har visat. De pedagogiska åtgärder som föreslås i åtgärdsprogrammen beskrivs i huvudsak på individnivå, även detta ligger i linje med andra studiers resultat.

Flygbolag måste idag följa en mängd olika lagar och regler för att få bedriva sin verksamhet. Samtidigt är de verksamma i en väldigt dynamisk bransch där efterfrågan kan variera kraftigt beroende på händelser utanför företagets kontroll. De måste därmed både ha en stabil organisation samt en förmåga att förändra sig för att kunna vara konkurrenskraftiga. Organisations-strukturer beskrivs ofta som mer eller mindre stabila respektive flexibla. Uppfattningen är dock att en högre flexibilitet medför ett avkall på stabiliteten.

The purpose of this study is to show how some Swedish teachers in the grades four to six assess the subject of English and what impact the national tests have on teachers? way of looking at assessments and grades and how teachers are supposed to work with assessment and grading according to the curriculum and the education act. The method of this study has been interviews with principals, teachers and pupils to get as many perspectives of the subject as possible. It has contributed to an interesting content and the end result will be as fundamental as it can be. The findings of this study show that teachers teaching English in Sweden have a great responsibility because of the lack of subject priority and communication between themselves, the government and other authorities in the world of education.
